I have successfully made it through one week of my journal! I am so proud of myself. I have never kept a journal this long. I guess it is more fun this way. 

Today was fun. I had Bible Study. Today's lesson was on self-worth. The moral of the entire lesson was that it is what is on the inside that counts. Never judge a book by it's cover. I could relate to this lesson so well. When I first saw Markiplier, I only saw a guy who swore at video games. After my brothers watched a few more of his videos, I found myself laughing at his humor and finding out he was actually a really sweet guy. Now it is the other way around; I love Markiplier and my brothers are saying he sucks because he swears.

During Bible Study, my mom called and told me that our van broke down. We have had it for a few years and it was about time we got rid of it. So I had an extra half-hour at the beach because of that.

After that happened, my mom took me shopping at the mall. I convinced her to o into Hot Topic and Spencer's with me. She liked it a lot and bought me my first cartilage clip. We were planning on changing my style a bit and this was the first change. I wanted to get gauges, but she says not while I am living in the house. As soon as I move out, that is the first thing that is happening. The other ideas we had were to cut my hair into a bob and dye my padawan braid bright red. I was surprised at how calm she was about this. Last year, she would have freaked out and now she supports it.

Today's celebrity birthday is Vera Wang. She is a fashion designer and she turns 67 today. Me and my mom like her clothes a lot. They are very pretty and comfortable as well. Her picture is up at the top.

The song of the day is Me And My Broken Heart by Rixton. This was my basketball coaches favorite song. He played it all the time. It got stuck in my head and I have loved it ever since. The video does not belong to me. If you want to suggest a song, put it in the comments.

Please pray for the intern that teaches my Bible Study. Her family is selling her childhood home and moving. This is a big change for her because it has been the only house she knew other than the two years she lived in Kansas.
