"Ready?"
"Yeah."
Vincent extended a hand, which Scott grabbed and used to pull him slowly to his feet. The purple man stumbled forward, and Scott caught him and propped him back up. "I gotcha."
Vincent laughed. "It's been a while since I was on my feet."
"Sure has." Scott pulled him close, putting an arm on his lower back to keep him upright. He used his free hand to take Vincent's left hand. He planted the gentlest of kisses on Vincent's forehead and whispered "Wanna dance?"
"W-what? Scotty, I don't even know if I can walk, let alone dance. I don't even know how to dance!"
"I promise, it's easy, I'll show you." He took his phone out of his pocket, pressed rewind and play on a song he'd been listening to, and threw it down on the hospital bed.
"Look, it's pretty easy." He stepped back, to the side, forward, and sideways again, practically pulling Vincent along with him. "One, two, three, four." Vincent picked up his feet and awkwardly shuffled along. Since it'd been such a long time since he'd actually walked, he nearly fell and had a slightly uncomfortable stance.
"I swear to god, Scott, you're more insane than I am."
"Doubt it, baby." He pulled Vincent up when he started to slip and spun him, dancing freestyle. Vincent quickly joined in, arms flailing, feet slapping the ground. He didn't care that he looked like an idiot. He was Scott's idiot, and that was just fine by him.
"The way you do what you do, that's what I like about you~" Scott sang along to the lyrics, and Vincent rapped along to the rap verses, not minding that he had to improvise since he forgot most of the words. As the song wound to a close, Vincent hugged Scott tightly and passionately kissed his lips. "You have no clue how much I love you."
Scott smiled. "Let's get you home, loverboy."
