"Luce.. wake up..!" Natsu wispered while lightly shaking Lucy. They both fell asleep on the couch the night before.

"I'm awake.." Lucy said as she fell back asleep. Natsu smiled in response to her cuteness. His smile soon turning into a grin. He got closer to her... a little closer and... started tickling her. She bursted out laughing.

"S-Stop it... Natsu!!" She said while giggling. A tear slipped down her cheek as she continued to laugh. After few moments Natsu finally stopped and they ended up looking at each other.

Natsu's hands were beside Lucy's head while she still layed on the bed.

"Luce..."

"Natsu..."

They both leaned closer, Lucy's hands moving to Natsu's cheeks. Their eyes looking deep in another's soul. In some way, they both knew that this was right.

"W-We shouldn't do this.. I'm sorry.." Lucy said as she moved her head to the side. Natsu blinked few times before realizing what they were about to do.

"Y-Yeah, m-my bad. Let's just go." He said and they began to get ready for school.

The car ride was awkward, like pretty much everything else. None of them was happy abou it, but they needed to think about the thing that almost happened.

~In school, with Natsu~

"Yo, Dragneel! Come'ere!" Yelled tall, black haired man. Natsu turned his head to see his friends: Gajeel and Juvia.

"Hey guys, whats up!" He said and sat beside them on the school yard.

"You've been kind of distant in the past 2 and a half months, Natsu-san. We got worried." Juvia said and looked at Natsu, waiting for him to explain.

"Yeah.. I started to be friends with Lucy."

"What?! The Lucy you bullied all the time?" They screamed in the same time.

The name Lucy sounds kinda familiar... oh well.. Juvia thought.

"Yeah, turns out, I've come to like her a lot." Natsu said as the faint blush appeared on his face.

"Do you love her, Natsu-san?" Juvia asked As she put her palm undernith her chin, wanting an answer badly. She had never saw Natsu in love or even intrasted in any girl before.

"What?! N-No... we're just friends. Even though, we almost kissed this morning.." He said and looked up to see two shocked faces looking right at him.

"You? Kissing somebody? Bahahah" Gajeel busted out laughing while holding his stomach and holding a hand on his mouth.

"What's so funny! So what if I wanted to kiss her?! ... wait, what?"

I wanted to kiss her? Natsu thought, he assumed it was at the heat of the moment.

"Tell us how you feel about her." Juvia said, her full attention to the Natsu's words.

"Uh.. it's hard to explain. It's like the entire world stops. Suddenly everything that ever caused me pain fades away and I'm filled with a feeling of delirium. The universe around me seems to explode with happiness whem I'm around her. It's weird feeling I get in my tummy too. It feels light and tingly. I want to kiss her all of the time, and the hugs, oh don't get me started about the hugs. I wanna hug her and never let go out of my arms. She is so cute all the time and I don't know what to do anymore.. Can you help me with this?" Natsu finished, Gajeel and Juvia's jaw's were literally on the ground.

"Are you seriously that dense?" Gajeel questioned and Natsu's eyes widened.

"What?"

"You love her, Natsu-san! Juvia is so happy for you." Juvia squealed and cheared.

"I'm what? N-No, I'm not!" He yelled as the bell rang for the next class.

"See ya, lover boy!" Gajeel teased.

"Sure. See ya, *cought* Levy lover." Natsu teased back and headed to class, leaving Gajeel in disbelief.
