"Y-You kissed me back.." Natsu mumbled in disbelief as he touched his lips with his fingertips, his cheeks stained in red. He was happy beyond the sky.

"Y-Yeah.. I-I have to go!" As Lucy said those words she ran out of the house. Too embaressed to even look at Natsu.

Natsu was left alone in her room, making him even more confused and worried.

Oh no, what if she didn't actually wanted to kiss me back and did it out of pity..?

Oh God, that was the stupidest thing I ever did, I'm such an idiot. What even made me think that she would actually like me?! I'm unworthy her love, especially after everything I did to her in the past...

Natsu became anxious really fast, so he decided to go look for Lucy and apologize.

Damn, I didn't have to run away like that.. I probably made Natsu worry... I'm sorry, I'll make it right Natsu.

She looked determined and turned around to go back and deal with the situation, instead of running away like a coward.

"Lucy!" She turned to the side to look who called her and it was none other then Sting.

"Oh, hey Sting! What's up?" She said sweetly earning a soft smile from Sting. He looked deeply into her chocolate brown eyes which made her a bit uncomfortable.

"U-Uh Sting... Stop staring like that.." She said as her eyes wondered around the ground.

"Sorry, I just can't resist your beauty.." He's voice gently as he said it, but Lucy didn't believe him one bit. She never believed to any compliment that she would get...

"Sting, I'm in a hurry. Did you need anything?" She looked at him again and got a bad feeling in her gut.

"Yeah, I wanted to do this.." He said and got closer to Lucy's face. She was so shocked at his sudden action that she froze in place. He held her shoulders so she couldn't get out of his grip. She closed her eyes shut as she suddenly felt Sting's hands got blown away from her.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw Sting on the ground with a red cheek from the impact of the fist. Natsu was standing there, takind deep breaths to calm himself down. He shoot a death glare to Sting which send the chills down his spine.

"Don't you ever, and I mean ever touch or look at her that way again! You hear me, bastard?!" He growled at him as his eyes seemed to became red for a second. Sting got up and quickly ran off.

Lucy stared at Natsu who looked at her with the similar look he gave to Sting. She wasn't scared, she more felt like she betrayed him. She wanted to apologize for two things now.

"N-Natsu... listen-"

"Is that why you ran off and rejected me? You like him, don't you?" She saw something shiny slip down his cheek, her eyes grew wide as she realized he was crying. She felt the pain through his voice.

"No.." She said calmly.

"Then why..?" He said, turning her his back to hide his tears. Lucy walked slowly and got in front of him, taking his face in her hands and smiled.

She got on her tip toes and gave him a soft kiss on the lips. Natsu widened his eyes and looked at her, impatiently wanting to hear her next words.

"I don't like Sting.. I don't know what was that all about, but thanks for saving me from kissing him. I like you, Natsu." She wispered the last part, but that didn't stop Natsu from hearing it loud and clear.

She wiped his tears away with her thumb as Natsu smiled and held her hand on his cheek. They closed their eyes and Natsu rested his forehead on Lucy's, making it a lovely moment.

"Luce..?" He wispered.

"Yeah?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He tightened his grip on her hand as she opened her eyes.

"Y-Yes.." His eyes snapped open as he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up in the air. He didn't know how to express the happiness he felt at this moment.

"Really?" He said with a silliest grin, making Lucy smile and think of an evil idea.

"No. I was joking. I would never love you." She said in deep voice, shocking Natsu and making him put her down to the ground.

"O-Oh.." He said as his heart just got chrushed in milion pieces.

"I'm kidding! Natsuuu! I was kidding, of course I'll be your girlfriend!" She yelled and jumped around Natsu, while his eyes weren't visible from his bangs.

"Natsu..? I'm sorry, I was kidding.." Lucy asked worriedly, she felt guilty for what she said. She slowly turned away and started walking, until she felt two strong arms wrap around her waist from behind.

She turned her head around to see the pink haired boy.

"Jeez, don't play with my emotions like that, Luce.." He said, his serious face disappearing and replacing it with one of his goofy grins.

"I'm sorry.." She said and slightly smiled, leaning into his arms as he tightened his grip.
