"Goodbye.." she whispered and made the final cut.

~ Earlier that day ~

The blonde opened her eyes, she didn't sleep too well tonight, she looked at the salmon haired boy turned to her side and wrapped his arms around her. She softly smiled and kissed his forehead. Natsu opened his eyes and mumbled 'good morning'.

"I love you.." she admirably said and caressed his cheek. He grinned and pressed his lips onto hers. He kissed her softly and slowly, he tasted like November, like hot chocolate on stormy evenings and crisp autumn air.

"Ngh.." she moaned shakily, but continued what they started, it didn't took long for them to start taking off their clothes.

The human body is capable of sex long before the mind is mature enough to handle the emotions that go with it. Sex isn't just a fun thing like laser tag or bungee jumping, it is a powerful union between two souls. Isn't that why we say "lovers"? I can never see anything sinful about sex between consenting adults, what people do is their own business, but the most damaging cultural dislocation is the one between sex and love. Sex should always be an act between two souls who love one another deeply, who are are committed to one another, for it is a deeply spiritual act that bonds. As a species we are happiest with life long mates. That is why older adults often caution young people not to run in too fast, to take time and be sure. To feel the heady passion that sex brings without the love to keep the bond strong ultimately brings damage not easily repaired. That is why emerging adults need to truly understand the difference between passionate love and lust. One builds strong relationships, keeps our souls healthy and our self esteem high, the other is fireworks in the moment but ultimately leaves us empty, shallow and addicted like the junkie.

"Bye, I'll be back in a while!" Natsu shouted from the door as he closed them and left. Lucy said bye and continued watching TV.

After some time Lucy became bored, so se decided to call Levy and hang out. Levy came after half an hour.

"Hey, Lu-chan!" She greeted as she opened the door and saw Lucy in the kitchen. They walked to each other and shared a friendly hug.

"So, what do you wanna do today?" The blonde asked, the light ball appeared above Levy's head as the idea came to her mind.

"Movies?" She suggested, and as if reading Lucy's mind, she was about to suggest the same thing.

Their day went by pretty fast and Levy had to go home, but Lucy grew worried since Natsu wasn't coming back. She thought he got to hang out with some of his friends, but it was already 11pm so he should've came back. She decided it'd be the best to go and look for him.

She sat in the car and went to his favorite bar, he would sometimes go there and spend time with his friends. She never had anything against it, so she never put much thought into it.

When she came inside she looked all over for him, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Excuse me, did you by any chance, see a pink haired guy around here. He was wearing a hoodie and jeans." Lucy asked the waiter who was cleaning glasses behind the bar.

"Um, yes. He was here with a white haired girl. They went to the cabins behind that wall." He responded as Lucy felt a heavy feeling in her gut. She hesitantly went where the waiter pointed and... she found him.

He was sitting in a chair, and there indeed was a white haired girl with him. She was sitting in his lap with her legs wide spread, they were kissing passionately as Natsu rested his arms around her waist. Lucy could feel her heart breaking, slowly and painfully. She had never experienced greater pain than at this very moment. Only a lover such as him can cause pain as deep as this. Only one all the way inside a heart can shatter it in just a few seconds. Worst part is - you know that, don't you? You love me, you need me, you destroy me...

Lucy turned around and started walking back to her car. She didn't want to cry, she just wanted to go home. On her way out, the same waiter asked if she was okay, and, of course, she said yes. Why would she say the truth?

She got in the car and began driving back to their house. Her nails dig deep into the wheel as she bit her lips so hard it began bleeding, she tried everything to stop the tears that badly wanted to fall. But, how could she not cry?

"You said that you loved me, but that was all a lie, wasn't it? A-All I wanted from you was your love, and you got me in your bed twice and I believed in our love." she gritted her teeth as the tears began rolling down her face.

"You said you cared and loved me, but you didn't. I loved you; no... I love you and you broke me into a million shards, and you left me. I let you in, I let my walls down, but I regret that now. I regret everything about us..." she sobbed, the tears kept falling as she pulled over to the side of the road. She didn't hesitate, finally, she knew what she wanted to do.

She took out a blade that she always kept near her. She couldn't deal with this pain, she just wanted to leave this cruel world. She swiped the blade across her wrist and it made a very deep cut, in any other conditions, she would panic and try to wrap it up, but now, she wanted this. She made a lot more of them, some were deep and some were shallow.

"I can't get you out of my mind, because I still love you and always will, Natsu... Goodbye.." she whispered and made the final cut. Her eyelids felt heavier and she slowly drifted out of consciousness as her last tear feel...
