The rain startled me, pouring all hail and no glory on my body — making me drenched. The clamping on my hair which I straightened an hour ago now curly in its own natural habitat. The clouds now hiding the beauty we once called the sun.

Gone.

Sitting on this rooftop, on these wooden benches made me think. Why should I seek shelter? Leave it for tomorrow— no! I loved the rain, I loved the gloominess. I once found a home in it— the darkness welcomed me.

So I did what I always did.

I gave up.

I reached out to the rooftops, in top of the school. Everyone was having their last day of high school more specifically known as Prom. It made me feel like I was being forced to go there because of my two best friends, who will probably miss me when I'm gone...

Gone, you ask?

Yes.

I hold the railing, with a tight grip. My hands starting to go clammy and legs beginning to tremble. My eyes looked from left-to-right.

Was this really okay?

I breathed in.

"Yes I'm going to fucking die! It's okay! No one will miss me anyways! Apart from my two best friends, who I'll burden, but it's for the best..."

A tear slipped down my cheek.

"... B- because I was a stupid nerd anyway, everyone ignored me, no one even payed attention. Then depression fucked me up and—"

I cut myself off.

I don't have to explain myself. It's pathetic, we all know why anyways. I'm no good.

Besides I was born a Virgin Mary night as well die one, right?

I take a deep breath shaking away any sub-conscious thoughts and then.

"Goodbye life." I muttered, taking the final leaps into ending my life.

Period.
