Y/N's P.O.V.

I walked in through the front doors of BC Sol. Today was my first day as a member of them!

As I entered the room, I looked around. Loads of people were standing at the side of beystadiums, commanding their beys to knock out their opponents. I put my hand in my pocket and felt my bey, B/N.

I glanced up as a pink haired girl approached me. "Hello, I am Kristina Curoda. You must be Y/N." She offered her hand for me to shake.

I shook it. "Hi, Kris."

She led me to the room I would be staying, and left me alone to unpack my things. I put my clothes into a wardrobe in the corner and placed my bey gently on a table next to my bed.

I was just about finishing up when a short blue-haired boy ran in. "Hi," he said cheerily. "Kris told me to tell you that dinner is ready and you need to come down to the cafeteria. My name's Valt, by the way."

I smiled at him. "Hi, Valt. I'm Y/N."

I followed Valt downstairs to the cafeteria. I sat next to him at a table, with a green haired boy, a black haired boy with a white bird on his shoulder, a blue haired girl, and a cute orange haired boy.

Valt introduced me to everyone. "This is Silas, Cuza, Shasa and Free." They all nodded at me. I smiled politely at them, but my eyes lingered on Free. His dark eyes stared back at me. I looked down at my burger, embarrassed.

I glanced at him every now and then. He was sort of chubby, and he was wearing a light yellow vest and light brown jeans. They were kind of too tight for him, but that just made him even more adorable.

I eventually finishes my dinner and stood up. "Valt, do you want to battle?" Battling helped me get my mind off things.

Valt nodded. "Ok!"

I ran up to my room to grab my bey, then headed back downstairs and into the garden, which had a beystadium in the middle. The sky was a deep orange now, and the setting sun reflected of my bey, making it shine.

Valt was waiting for me at the side of the beystadium. "Hey, Y/N! You ready?" Valt held up his bey, Valtreyk.

I positioned my bey in my launcher and crouched down. Valt did the same.

"3…2…1… Let it rip!" We shouted as we launched our beys into the stadium.

As I watched B/N spin around after Valtreyk, I thought about Free, and the feeling I had got when I had first saw him. It was like a fluttery feeling, sort of tingly.

"Rush launch!" Valt snapped me out of my thoughts with his shout. Valtreyk spun rapidly around B/N, causing it to slow down. Eventually it stopped spinning altogether.

"Yes! I win!" Valt jumped up and down happily as I picked up B/N.

"Well done, Valt," I said, trying to sound excited for him.

The battle hadn't helped at all. Free was still in my mind. I sloped back into the building and began heading to my room. Just as I approached the stairs, I bumped into someone, knocking me onto the hard ground.

"Are you ok?" someone asked. I looked up to see someone's hand reaching to me. I grabbed it and they hauled me up.

"Sorry. I hope you aren't hurt," they apologized. I turned around to look at them, and instantly began blushing.

It was Free.
