I scoff. "How do you expect me to answer that so easily?"

"Just tell me, I need to know."

"Why?" I turn to him. "Why do you need to know that, Harry? Does it even matter?"

"Yes, it does, goddammit!" Harry barks and I flinch backwards, staring at him as he takes heavy breaths. "How do you feel about me?"

"I don't!" I bellow. So many emotions run through me and my heart can take but one at a time. "You need to understand that you can't just come back after a year and ask me how the hell I feel about you. You ignored me for a whole freakin' year, Harry! And every single day of that was hell for me. Did you care? I think not. So stop acting like you do now. Even if I tell you how I feel about you, it won't change a thing!"

"It won't?" Harry whispers so quiet that my ears ring from the sudden change of volume. I exhale and nod slowly, even though he's not even looking at me. When he does, I barely notice but the shining greens of his eyes sparkle, making him look more extraordinary than any of my surroundings.

My stomach does a flip. "Yeah, it won't. You'd go back to that perfect girl with the perfect body who can sing and doesn't annoy you when she's hungry or cold. She won't scream at you or defy you in anything, Harry. That's how you like your girl -or, rather, girls. Right, Harry?"

Now that my eyes fill with tears and my voice is hushed into a whisper, I can't stop them from speeding and rolling down my face. Seconds pass and I find myself sobbing uncontrollably. I can't stop myself now, the rivers of the Amazon are now full-on streaming across my flushed cheeks.

I can see Harry watching me from the corner of my eyes but he doesn't make a move. He just watches me. Like I'm some kind of animal in a zoo. His eyes thankfully don't hold any pity, but now when they're empty and not in any way revealing.

Doesn't he feel anything for me anymore?
