Whilst Ashanti and her crew were defeating everyone downstairs, Missy Elliott in the meantime was taking her beauty nap.

Ashanti was a bit upset when she had knocked on her door, especially when she hadn't picked up the first time.

She had done so again, with Missy Elliott getting slightly annoyed, but she didn't let this show.

"Who dareth disturb my beauty sleep?" She had demanded on the other side of the door. "This better be good."

Uhm..

What if she's mad at me because I got rescued?

Ashanti did not think this through.

"It's Ashanti Reynolds... the girl you locked up? I'm a huge fan of you."

When Missy Elliott hadn't said anything, Ashanti had figured out that this was a bad idea, about to leave the front of the door entirely, until Missy had then unexpectedly opened the door.

"Mhm-hmm. You said that about Rihanna before you had gotten accepted yet double crossed into the group. Is that what you say now when you want something from a celebrity? That you a huge fan?"

"I am huge fan of you. I love all your songs! Please. I just want your autograph, then I'll be out of here for good. Promise."

Missy Elliott wasn't convinced.

Come on Missy Elliott.

Make a girl proud.

After what had felt like forever, she had sighed.

And like Ashanti had suspected, she had to work for her autograph, but this wasn't as bad.

"Fine. If you're seemingly a huge fan like you say you are... then rap Pharrell's bit of our song 'Where They From'. Properly. No incorrect lyric."

What?

Ashanti didn't know Pharrell's bit!

Properly, anyway.

She tried.

I come into this .... like liquid
Drip, drip, drip, then the business
Click, click, get the picture
Hermés Trismegistus

Witness and get lifted
Basic, I was born in the basement
Shape shift, I think like a spaceship
False, oh-nah-nah-nah

I am so different than y'all
So far apart
The way that I balance the bars

I never fall
And if I do I just call
The almighty yellow star, God

Lyrically I'm Optimus Prime
Look how I drive, look at my ride

When I go by, smoke in your eyes
So open your eyes, the joke's on you guys
And you ain't gotta be a mason in the see through
Some of this things on occasion

"Hmmm... some incorrect lyrics, but A for effort," Missy told her, looking straight at her. "Where do you want my autograph?"

Ashanti had then brought out a notebook from her bag, giving a Kawasaki pen to Missy.

Missy had signed her book, and after that, Ashanti had thanked her, telling her that she would never have thrown her book away ever again.

Even when it was out of pages.

"You a real cute one. Stay that way."

Then she had gone inside again, the beginning of her song We Run This playing.

My style can't be duplicated or recycled
This chick is a sick individual

Then she had closed the door and walked away, with both her and Ashanti going their separate ways once and for all.

Ashanti had smiled again, before heading out of the almost demolished underground headquarters.

Whilst everyone had been arrested except Tazeena because she wasn't a bad kid, Kehlani and Kishati were talking about something.

Alsharafzi, Zonarosa and Tazeena had gone home, but Kehlani and Kishati were waiting for Ashanti at the park whilst she had gone to get Missy's autograph.

When Ashanti had walked past though, Kehlani had then asked her if he could have talked to her about something, with Ashanti being suspicious for a while, then she had agreed.

Kehlani had then pulled her to one side, but he didn't exactly know how to tell her he had liked her, as he didn't know how she would have reacted.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Ashanti wanted to know, as Kehlani had pulled her to one side to talk to her privately about something.

But Kehlani hadn't actually said anything though. He had just stared straight at her.

Ashanti had realised this, before calling his name a few times.

But when that didn't work?

She had had to snap her fingers in front of his face to get his attention again.

"Kehlani... you OK? What did you want to talk to me about?"

Just tell her you like her.

Tell her.

And leave.

Without thinking though, Kehlani had blurted out the words 'I like you', with Ashanti just staring at him confusingly, before laughing.

And saying anything else.

"I like you too, bro. You're my best friend."

"No." Kehlani had told her, shaking his head like crazy. "As in I like like you."

Ashanti had just stared at him blankly, but when Kehlani had rephrased what he had meant, telling her that he had had a massive crush on her?

Ashanti freaked out.

Then she sighed.

"Kehlani, why didn't you tell me before now?"

Because he had seen many friendships being destroyed by unrequited feelings for one another, on TV and in real life too.

And Kehlani hadn't wanted that to happen between him and Ashanti because Ashanti was pretty much all he had.

Kishati too, but mainly Ashanti.

Ashanti and Kehlani had gone to the same school and everything.

Kehlani and Kishati hadn't gone to the same school, plus they weren't even the same age to begin with.

Unfortunately for Kehlani, Ashanti had rejected him, candidly telling him that she had only liked him as a friend.

Even though he was devastated about this, he was also kind of expecting it, not saying anything against Ashanti's decision.

He understood.

Seeing how upset he was, Ashanti had then hugged him, telling him that now just wasn't the right time, but they could have always stayed as best friends if Kehlani wanted to.

Ashanti had gone, and Kishati had accidentally overheard everything that had happened.

Also realising how upset Kehlani was over this, she had placed a hand on his shoulder, before asking him if he was OK.

"Yeah. I was kinda expecting this to be honest. But at least she knows now."

"If she can't see how amazing you are, then it's honestly her loss and not yours."

True, but they were still best friends, so it was cool.

It had also turned out that Kishati was a criminal.

As she was walking with Kehlani, the police had arrested her halfway, with Ashanti and Kehlani being madly confused on what the heck was going on.

And why Kishati was being arrested in the first place.

She had secretly worked for The Black Cobras apparently, who were Sugar & Spice's rival group.

Ashanti and Kehlani were extremely pissed yet shocked when they had found this out, as Kishati hadn't told of them this before today.

As she was being handcuffed, Ashanti and Kehlani had then promised never to have another friend again (besides them), in case they had hidden important secrets away from them again.

"Shall we go home?" Kehlani asked, stretching his hand out for Ashanti to interlock it with his.

"We shall!" Ashanti smiled, interlocking her arm with Kehlani's, as they had gone back home again.

From that day on, Ashanti knew never to get herself involved in a gang again.

And not everybody could have been trusted.

Now it was just her and Kehlani again, like old times.

Just like sugar.

And spice.

THE END
