Tick.
Tock.
Tick.
Tock.
"Alright, Kayden. You don't have to constantly keep on reminding me of the fact that I've only got thirteen minutes left to live right now."
Ashanti was still locked up in the transparent tube, with Kayden flashing his clock necklace right in front of Ashanti's face to and fro, with Ashanti's eyes annoyingly following it because she had nothing else better to do right now.
She didn't really have that much time left to live now. Only thirteen minutes.
For goodness sake, what's taking them so long? Ashanti had thought to herself. They should be here by now. Is it that hard to find this place or something? Jeez.
"Face it, Ashanti. You're not going to get help. You're done for. And even if someone does help you out? It'll be too late anyway, because you'll already be dead."
Kayden then had to leave the scene for him to do something again, with Ashanti just thinking hmmm, yeah, we'll see about that to herself.
She had then un-handcuffed herself again, before bringing out her phone to text Alsharafzi, but unfortunately Autocorrect had completely messed everything up.
Alsharafzi, Zonarosa, Kehlani and Kishati in the meantime were at the park, but they still couldn't have found out where the secret hideout was.
"Y'all, Ashanti just texted me," he had informed them, bringing them closer to him.
They had seen something near a tree that had looked vaguely suspicious, and they were trying to find out what it was, but they weren't getting very far in doing that at all.
Zonarosa wanted to know what Ashanti had said to him, with Alsharafzi being really confused.
"Yelp, I'm running out of thyme?" Kehlani had read out, from Alsharafzi's phone.
Ashanti had just texted Alsharafzi another message after she had realised what she had sent the first time had made absolutely no sense to anyone whatsoever.
Help, I'm running out of time.
Sorry, Autocorrect.
I'm only using one hand to text in my defence. I'm kinda handcuffed right now.
That had made more sense now.
Everyone was starting to worry and think that Ashanti could have no longer texted or something.
Kishati had asked Ashanti if she had known where the underground headquarters were because they couldn't have found it anywhere.
They had had the right postcode and everything, but it was nowhere to be seen.
Unfortunately for them though, Ashanti also didn't know where the underground headquarters were as Kayden had sleep-gassed her when they had gone underground.
"Keep looking. Please. I've only got 11 minutes and 47 seconds left to live now. No joke."
She had then ended the conversation there, hanging up on the four of them, who had just stared at each other kind of dumbfounded over everything.
It was with their blank staring that Kehlani had realised that they had checked everywhere except from where the bushes were.
Ashanti was in deep trouble though.
Kayden had realised that she had un-handcuffed herself and she had been using her phone without permission.
So that was a minus ten minutes left to live for her.
"Kayden, please don't reduce my time left to live by ten minutes!"
"And where's the fun in that?"
"Kayden!" Ashanti was in practically tears now. She didn't want to die, but at the same time? She kind of had no choice. "Please!"
It was too late though.
Kayden had pressed the minus ten minutes button on the hour glass.
And soon after?
Ashanti only had one minute and thirty seconds left to live.
Apparently, because she had misbehaved twice (no calling for help and no un handcuffing herself), her time was meant to be reduced by twenty minutes and not ten instead.
But the kid still apparently had some "dignity" left in him not to do that, as he was apparently now a nice person, even though he had completely double crossed Ashanti, under Rihanna's command.
"I'll also be taking that," he had continued, snatching Ashanti's phone away from her, with Ashanti giving him another death stare. "Now you can't call anyone for help."
Oh yeah?
We'll see about that.
As loudly as she could have done, Ashanti had yelled the word 'help!' out loud, because she had known that her friends were nearby, so they could have helped her out.
She had kept on doing this.
And it worked eventually, because the four of them could have heard her scream from the top of her lungs.
"Did you guys hear that?" Kishati had asked all of them. "It sounds like Ashanti."
Rolling his eyes, Kehlani had pushed her out of the way before saying that it was Ashanti, and she had seemed pretty desperate for them to help her.
After hearing that, Zonarosa had then forced open the door on the floor right in front of them, but nothing had seemed to be working out properly.
In the meantime, Ashanti was still screaming help, as well as the fact that she only had fifty seconds left to live.
"Fifty seconds? I thought it was thirteen minutes."
"Apparently, Kayden takes ten minutes off how much time she has left whenever she misbehaves," Kehlani deadpanned, trying to open the door but he had also failed too.
He had then realised that they needed some sort of code to open the door, but Alsharafzi on the other hand had noticed a tube that could have taken all four of them down there.
And it did.
Hopefully it was the headquarters though... because if not?
Then it would have been pretty anti climatic if that was the case.
The door was closed, but Kishati had luckily managed to bang open it, with everybody working underground besides Missy Elliott surrounding them.
They were all pretty much trapped now, that was until Zonarosa had realised that the sleeping gas that Kayden had used for Ashanti was right underneath the table...
So she had therefore used it on Shealtiel, Kentrell and Thalia, who had fallen right on the floor.
Whilst they were attempting to defeat everybody else that was alive, Kehlani in the meantime had been trying to rescue Ashanti, who only had ten seconds left to live.
"Ashanti."
"Kehlani!" She had screamed, with Kehlani telling her that he would have tried to rescue her.
Yeah.
That didn't work.
He had tried everything but nothing was working.
Pushing buttons... trying to open it with his hands, the list was endless.
Heck- some dude had even tried to prevent him from doing this at some point but Kehlani had just kicked him where the sun didn't shine, trying to help out Ashanti again.
"Come on, Kehlani!"
"It's not working!"
Three seconds left.
He had tried to do everything, with Ashanti un-handcuffing herself and helping him, and on the last second?
She was free.
With both of them hugging each other.
A lot of people underground were pretty much dead or unconscious at this point.
They all had to escape before Shealtiel, Kentrell and Thalia had realised what they were doing- as they sleeping gas had only lasted five minutes and that was it really.
Ashanti and Kehlani hadn't yet apologised to each other for what they had done, because they didn't really have any time for that.
When they had tried to escape though, that was when Kayden had blocked their path, preventing them from leaving.
"So you really thought you could get away with this, huh? Ashanti might be rescued now, but there's no way for you guys to escape."
Yep, they were pretty much screwed at this point.
Until..
Tazeena was right behind Kayden, with Kishati going with her to first aid because she had accidentally hit her, thinking that she was a bad person but she wasn't.
Ashanti had told her this when she had accidentally punched her in the face.
When Kehlani had realised that Tazeena was behind Kayden, he had winked at her when Kayden wasn't paying attention, then she had hit Kayden in the head with her bag.
Kayden had fainted on the floor, with all four of them pretty much high fiving each other, with everybody else calling the police to take them away except Ashanti and Kehlani.
They hadn't really gotten along before today for like a week or so.
So when they were pretty much & finally alone and Ashanti had remembered that Kehlani had literally rescued her from death...
She had unexpectedly kissed him on the cheek, before thanking him, then they had apologised to each other once and for all.
"Sorry, Ashanti."
"Sorry, Kehlani. You deserved so much better than that."
They had then hugged each other, promising each other to never ever fall out again, although that probably would have never happened.
Before they were about to leave the place though, Ashanti had realised that Missy Elliott was there, and like Rihanna?
The kid was a huge fan of Missy Elliott as well.
She had gone up the stairs to find where she could have been, and was about to give up on looking for her entirely... that was until she had seen a door with her name on it.
Taking a deep breath, Ashanti had then knocked on the door, hoping that she could have gotten Missy Elliott's autograph.
I hope that she'll give it to me.
I really really really like her.
And that's a fact.
And hopefully... just hopefully?
Missy Elliott wouldn't have forced Ashanti to do something dangerous to get her autograph, like Rihanna had done with Ashanti with the whole mechanical bull incident/fiasco.
