"And what the heck do both of you two punks think you're doing standing right next to my tunnel?"

Ashanti & Kehlani had just left the tunnel to go to the neighbourhood party, and they had just encountered two of the most dangerous thugs in their street: Jordan and his slightly younger brother Khalil.

Jordan was about two to three years older than them, and that dude seriously did not mess around, man!

If something hadn't gone his way, then the dude would have gotten pissed, very pissed.

Or if someone had annoyed him, then he literally had the audacity & the ability to kill them, depending on how annoyed the kid was at them.

He was light skinned and he had cornrows, with Khalil having dreadlocks instead. Both of them had dark brown eyes and freckles, plus while Jordan was wearing a green tracksuit saying J on it in white writing, Khalil on the other hand was wearing a red hoodie with a K on it instead.

Khalil was one year younger than him, and both Ashanti & Kehlani had met them many times before.

Apparently the tunnel had "belonged" to Jordan, although it really didn't, the dude had just liked saying that to get people not to use it.

Just because the tunnel was right next to your house (his house was the closest to it) didn't necessarily mean that it was yours, Jordan.

Jesus Christ.

When neither Khalil or Jordan were paying much attention, Ashanti had whispered to Kehlani that both of them should have made a run for it, only causing Jordan to be even more annoyed than before.

"Pin 'em down, Khalil," Jordan ordered, giving both of them a dirty look. "They ain't leaving here till I'm done with them."

Khalil had listened to them, pinning Ashanti to the floor next to the tunnel whilst he had bashed Kehlani against the tunnel instead, very painfully.

Even though the girl couldn't actually see Jordan, Ashanti had still decided to say something anyway, after detecting how annoyed the guy seemingly was.

"Look, Jordan. We're really sorry. We won't come here ever again, if it'll make you feel better."

"Don't give me that, Ashanti!" Jordan raged, picking her up on the floor and pinning her to the wall like Khalil had pretty much done with Kehlani.

The next thing Jordan had done was to make deep eye contact with her, Ashanti doing the same thing as him.

Dang, this guy never smiles! She thought to herself in shock. How does he do it? No wonder he's starting to get early wrinkles. Jeez.

"You keep sayin' that you won't come here ever again, but you never stay true to your word. You a dang hypocrite, you know that?"

"What do you want from us, Jordan & Khalil?" Kehlani interrupted when Ashanti was about to say something. "Look, you can take our money. Our clothes, our shoes-- anything!"

"We ain't got money bro, don't encourage him!" Ashanti hollered, screaming in pain after how hard Jordan was stepping on her toes, literally.

"And don't lie to him either. He's a thug, bro. He'll mess you up. You're smarter than this. You're so much better than this."

Khalil had told them to shut up by saying silence to both of them, before saying something else straight afterwards literally spitting in Kehlani's face because he was so.

Fricking.

Close to him.

And Kehlani hated it.

"We don't want anything from you," He hissed through gritted teeth. "We just want you to make a promise to us. Don't come here ever again, else us thugs will mess you up. You understand?"

Ashanti & Kehlani were way too petrified to actually say anything to Jordan himself, and even after they had nodded, Jordan and Khalil wanted to beat them up still.

Well...

They were kind of about to do so but were stopped halfway when someone watching them in the far distance (they were walking through the tunnel) had shouted at both Jordan and Khalil, telling both of them to back off.

The person that had told Jordan and Khalil to back off from Ashanti & Kehlani was dark skinned and she had a very curly Afro as well.

By the looks of it, it seemed as though she was heading to the neighbourhood party as well, as her T Shirt had literally said 'I came here for the par-tay!' but it may not have meant that.

That could have been the only good and clean T Shirt that she had or something. There were many reasons on why she could have worn it, despite not going to the neighbourhood party, the possibilities were endless.

She also had dark blue jeans, rainbow trainers, a rainbow watch and hoop earrings as well.

Her name must have been Kishati or something because Jordan and Khalil had noticed her somewhere before.

Either way, Kishati had told them to back off, but they didn't listen, only letting her take matters into her own hands.

Which had frankly made everything worse.

Kishati had told both of them to leave Ashanti & Kehlani alone (without saying their names of course, because she didn't exactly know them yet), with Khalil asking her:

"Leave them alone... or else what?"

Which had shut Kishati right up for good, but only for about twenty seconds anyway, as she was really trying to think about what the hell to say to them.

"Leave them alone, else I'll hurt you."

"I'll hurt you in a minute, if you don't shut up!" Jordan retorted back at her, his face turning red with anger.

Kishati fell silent again, thinking something, then unexpectedly, she had said that she would have liked to see Jordan and Khalil to hurt her.

"Girl, are you crazy?" Kehlani asked her, turning to face her. "They're thugs man, do you really want to get yourself killed? You're way better than that!"

Kishati had just informed him that she was the highest belt in karate (so black), so she had gotten everything all under control.

For some reason, Khalil had found this hilariously funny, and he couldn't stop laughing.

He was still holding Kehlani though, but he couldn't stop laughing.

"What's your problem, Khalil?" Kishati wanted to know. "Oh what, so y'all are laughing now?"

She had gotten annoyed when Jordan had joined in the laughter too, especially after the girl had told both of them that she was a black belt in karate.

"You can laugh now, but I bet you won't be laughing when I do this to you!"

Then after saying that, Kishati had Kung fu-ed Jordan and Khalil really hard, telling them to get lost and to never bully Ashanti and Kehlani again.

She had then rescued both of them (Jordan and Khalil had gently dropped them on the floor), before stretching her hand out to help both of them.

"You guys OK?" Kishati wanted to know, straight after she had helped both Ashanti & Kehlani up, with those two hugging her as a sort of thank you present.

"Yeah, thanks for that."

"No problem, I hate bullies," Kishati beamed, before telling both Ashanti and Kehlani what her name actually was. "They had no right to do that. It wasn't right, and I don't like not helping someone when I should have done so. The guilt would just eat me alive and I do not want that."

Little did she know that both of them had already known her name due to Jordan and Khalil saying it earlier.

That was when Ashanti told her her name before telling her Kehlani's too.

"We're a two person group, so I wouldn't get too close and personal," Kehlani warned Kishati, with Ashanti gently punching the dude in the ribs once and after she had heard that.

"He didn't mean that."

"But two is a company and there is a crowd."

"Just ignore him," Ashanti smiled.

The reason Kehlani had said that to Kishati in the first place was because it had always just been him and Ashanti for life, and he was worried that Kishati was now going to change all that now, had she joined their group.

Kehlani also had a bit of a crush on Ashanti (despite her annoyingness sometimes) which she knew nothing about, so he didn't want anyone else getting in the way of that.

Things were kind of looking up now though.

Kishati had literally just beaten Jordan and Khalil up.

And Ashanti & Kehlani?

Well, they had just made themselves a brand new friend.
