10. You're Seriously Making Me Choose Between You & Rihanna?
• • • • • • • •
Jeez, I got hurt real bad. Contrastingly though, that was the most fun I've ever had in my entire life.
I honestly don't know what to think anymore.
I'm tired, man.
Ashanti was resting on the mechanical bull, because she really couldn't have been bothered to actually get down from it.
She had literally just missed out on getting Rihanna's autograph anyway: not that that had mattered anyway because she had bigger problems.
Like how she was going to get home without getting into any trouble.
Where the heck Kehlani & Kishati were right now...
And how the heck Ashanti was going to cope without them.
She hadn't even realised that Alsharafzi was standing there though (as in right next to her) to be honest. She was about to leave the room for good but she didn't because Alsharafzi had said something to her.
"Hey, you OK? You screamed pretty loudly."
Ashanti had just gotten off of the mechanical bull for good now, and was literally just about to leave the room, but she was struggling to do so because she was in so much pain.
When she had realised Alsharafzi was standing there, she had freaked out internally, because he was the dude that she had always wanted to talk to in the group but didn't exactly have the courage to.
She had thanked him for everything, before asking him why he had been acting so strange earlier when she had stared at him & why he was hanging out with Rihanna's group especially when he had seemed to be against everything the girl was doing.
"You were making some serious eye contact with me earlier, and I don't always like it when people do that. It makes me uncomfortable," he unfolded. "And Rihanna's my aunty. I've tried leaving her but it's not always the easiest thing to do."
Ashanti was about to say something but stifled it when Rihanna had called Alsharafzi's name, kind of forcing him to go.
"I'll see you later, Ashanti. I'm just glad you're OK."
"Yeah, I'll see you later too."
Ashanti had then unconsciously watched Alsharafzi as he had left the room for good, and funnily enough no security guard had condemned her for being in the VIP room.
Mainly because they didn't exactly know she was there and everything, but still.
Gosh, he's so sweet. And Zonarosa seems pretty nice too. Wish I could get to know them on a deeper level.
Hey, maybe I can.
Ashanti was still in serious pain at the moment, and she literally wanted to call Kehlani and Kishati for help but didn't after she had realised that they weren't really talking to each other for the time being.
You know what? Screw you, because you're not even worth it anymore. If all of this is about popularity, then stop because popularity isn't even important anymore.
And it never was. I'm done with you, so find someone else that can put up with your crap Ashanti, because I'm done. If you get in trouble, don't say we didn't warn you, 'cause we ain't helping you anymore.
That was pretty much ninety percent of what Kehlani had said to Ashanti when he was ranting to her about irresponsibly sneaking off to go to the VIP room, where Rihanna was.
Or used to be. She had gone now.
Crud. The only people you have Ashanti, you're not really friends with anymore.
So what the heck are you going to do now?
I'm in some serious pain here due to the mechanical bull and I can't move. Dang. I should have asked Alsharafzi to help me when I had the chance but he's gone now, so this is all on me.
You just realised that?
Where have you been all this time, girl?
Jeez.
It had also kinda turned out that despite the fact that Kehlani and Kishati weren't speaking to Ashanti right now, they had still wanted to help her out anyway, because both of them had heard her screaming from downstairs.
So whilst Ashanti was very furious at herself for being in pain and not having anyone to help her out, Kehlani and Kishati in the meantime were dashing upstairs, trying to hide from the security guards.
"You sure it's not too late to help her out?"
"For the last time, Kehlani. I heard Ashanti shouting. If that's not evidence that she's in trouble, then I don't know what the heck is."
They were initially mad at her, before Kishati had totally confronted Kehlani about him being mad at Ashanti, so they had all wanted to be friends with each other now.
When both of them had hid past all of the security guards and had entered the VIP room, the first thing they had done was to find Ashanti, but they couldn't really have found her anywhere.
About twenty seconds later, both of them had realised that there were stairs, and as they hadn't seen Ashanti anywhere, they had figured that she was downstairs, and well.
She was.
When Kehlani had seen the state Ashanti was in, he had immediately helped her up, with Kishati.
Heck, Ashanti hadn't even realised that both of them were helping her out because she was kind of daydreaming about Rihanna for a bit, but when she had realised who they were, she was over the moon.
"Kehlani, Kishati? What are you two doing here? I thought that both of you guys were mad at me."
"We were, but Kishati & I had done some talking and I kinda figured that maybe I was a bit too harsh on you," Kehlani explained. "Anyway, why were you screaming non stop? We could hear you from upstairs. What's going on?"
Ashanti was truly surprised on how Kehlani and Kishati had even entered the VIP room in the first place, as Ashanti had to knock to enter the room.
Apparently, there was an alternative route, which Ashanti was totally unaware of, and this alternative route didn't need Ashanti or anybody else for that matter to knock on the door.
When Ashanti had explained that she had gotten on a mechanical bull to get Rihanna's autograph, Kehlani and Kishati hadn't seemed very happy about it, because well.
Rihanna had almost killed her.
It was even worse because Ashanti hadn't even gotten Rihanna's autograph in the first place, causing everything to pretty much be for no reason.
When they had heard this, Kehlani and Kishati had just stared at each other for about ten seconds but they didn't say anything else.
"I don't know, Ashanti. I don't know if I trust Rihanna. Did you know that she's part of a gang? They call themselves Sugar & Spice."
Ashanti hadn't believed what she had heard at first, literally staring at both of them before bursting out laughing herself.
"What's so funny?"
"Do you guys have any proof?"
Well, no, they didn't.
But they had seen it on computer earlier on today after they had playing foosball because they were bored and they were kind of suspicious about Rihanna's behaviour.
Well, yeah. She was a VIP and everything, but apparently she hadn't been downstairs since the start of the party.
No celebrity really had isolated themselves from other people... unless they were totally up to something (bad) that nobody had personally known about.
Or they didn't want anyone to know about.
According to Kishati anyway, Sugar & Spice had a rival gang known as the Black Cobras, who were a bunch of people that had bullied Rihanna's cousin & she wanted to seek revenge.
As both of them had no proof about this, Ashanti had kept on laughing, literally not believing a word that any of them were saying to her right now.
She knew everything about Rihanna apparently, and no way did it say in her social media profile that she was part of a gang (called Sugar & Spice), let alone have a rival gang as well.
"And do you really think that Rihanna will reveal everything about her on social media?" Kehlani hissed, folding her arms. "Look, Ashanti. You seem extremely caught up on Rihanna. So I'm giving you two choices. Us or Rihanna?"
They had got to be kidding her.
Them or Rihanna?
The heck?
But Rihanna nearly killed me.
But then again, I really want to meet Alsharafzi & Zonarosa.
But what if they're right about the gang?
Kehlani's always been there for me though, although at the same time.... I'm getting kind of bored of him.
Is that normal?
Or is it not?
OK, so Rihanna nearly killed me but the mechanical bull has got to be the most fun thing I've ever experienced in my entire life.
"You're seriously making me choose between you and Rihanna?"
Kehlani nodded.
But Rihanna nearly killed you.
But it's Rihanna though.
But she nearly killed you.
But it's Rihanna!
This might be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to meet her properly, and I don't want to screw anything up.
Kinda ironic because of the whole mechanical bull fiasco but OK, suit yourself Ashanti.
And I really want to meet Alsharafzi & Zonarosa, as well as the rest of the group. I need new friends, man. It can't just be Kehlani all the time. I'm getting kinda tired of him.
Surely Ashanti wasn't stupid enough to pick Rihanna over Kehlani & Kishati but, sadly.
She was.
Kishati had told her that if she wanted to go to Rihanna then she had to leave the room but if she wanted to stay with them then she had to stay here.
Without looking back, Ashanti turned her back against them, walking to Rihanna's crew... until Kehlani had decided to pretty much rant about the whole godforsaken situation.
