19. The Damage Is Done, So I Guess I'll Be Leavin'

Gosh, Jordan and Khalil were honestly so annoying!
They do my head in so much.
Non sadistically, I kinda wish that something had had happened to them.
Not necessarily death per say, but just something really bad.
Ashanti had just lowkey wanted to rip their throats off, but she still had some dignity left in her not to do something like that.
They had kept making fun of the fact that Ashanti had said that she was visiting Rihanna, even though nothing from her perspective was funny.
But she hadn't said anything about it.
She was just trying to control her anger.
Yeah, you're visiting Rihanna. Sure you are. And I'm visiting the president's son, Khalil had teased like five seconds ago, him and Jordan still pretty much laughing their stupid heads off.
Ashanti had just stared at them in annoyance, with Zonarosa watching them in the far distance, as well as Ashanti herself.
Gosh.
She looks really annoyed.
I really have to help her out.
She must have had wonderful vision or something because right now, she was viewing the back of Ashanti and not the front.
Zonarosa had then commanded Alsharafzi to stay where he was, not that there was anywhere to go anyway, because there really wasn't.
"Where you going? Jordan and Khalil are thugs, Zona. They can mess you up!"
"Just stay here!" Zonarosa snapped. "Ashanti is in serious trouble. She needs my help."
Saying that, she had then pretty much walked right into the scene, telling both Jordan and Khalil to leave the girl alone.
Jordan and Khalil also knew Zonarosa, so she wasn't really a surprise to them, although she had visited the tunnel less than Ashanti did because she had lived further away from them, and she had common sense.
"If it ain't Zonarosa," Khalil remarked, standing up from his seat before getting closer to Jordan and resting a hand on his shoulder. "How many of you are back there anyway? We can be here all day."
"Just me and Ashanti," Zonarosa had lied helplessly, placing one of her hands on Ashanti's shoulder as well, with Ashanti slowly crossing her arms in anger and frustration. "Now leave her alone, otherwise I will mess you up for good, and I mean it."
Zonarosa had completely forgotten the fact that Alsharafzi was there, but then again, Alsharafzi was a good kid.
One would never really have imagined him getting himself involved with a couple of thugs, especially the most dangerous ones in the entire street.
Jordan and Khalil had just glanced at each other helplessly, before laughing their heads off like crazy, before Jordan had then really wanted to know what would have happened to him and his brother if they hadn't left quote unquote "poor" Ashanti alone.
Ashanti had just kindly told Zonarosa to leave the scene, as she had everything under control.
"You sure?"
"I'm sure, girl. I'm sure."
Zonarosa had just looked straight at Ashanti, with Ashanti deliberately avoiding eye contact with her in the process because she really couldn't have been bothered to make it.
"I just don't want anything bad happening to you though."
"Nothing bad will happen, trust me. I've got this all under control. Just leave. Go back to Alsharafzi."
Zonarosa had then reluctantly listened to her, slowly yet nonchalantly walking away from the scene...
Although Ashanti's definition of the phrase having something under control must have been completely and way different to its real definition.
Why?
Because she had also walked away from the scene as well, looking at both of the stupid thugs right opposite her, sighing then turning her back towards them and leaving.
"Yeah, that's right. Walk away like the stupid losers you are!"
Ashanti had ignored both of them, just interlocking her arm with Zonarosa's and walking away to find Alsharafzi again, who was patiently waiting for them outside the tunnel.
Even though Ashanti had completely ignored Jordan's statement on how her and Zonarosa were losers for walking away, Zonarosa had replied to him anyway.
Saying that both him and his brother were losers for not letting people pass the tunnel, and beating the ones up that had crossed the tunnel and they had found out about it.
Ashanti had completely ignored Alsharafzi and Zonarosa on the way to Krondon Alleyway to meet up with Rihanna as well as the rest of the Sugar & Spice organisation, that was until Alsharafzi had kept on calling her name.
Before wanting to know why she hadn't replied to them at all.
"When I used violence on Kehlani as well as these two bullies in my school called Trinity and Cassidy, I had gotten into serious trouble for it, and I didn't really want the same thing to happen again."
The punishment for using violence on three people at her school was suspension.
So using violence on two thugs?
That could have led to getting arrested.
Or even worse than that: death.
Or the worst thing of all: dying in jail.
And Ashanti didn't want that for herself so she had just turned her back on Jordan and Khalil, before slowly and gradually walking away from them.
"But then they will perceive you as weak for walking away from them. Is that really what you want for yourself, Ashanti?"
"I don't care how they perceive me anymore, Zonarosa. Let's just get today over with already."
Saying that, Ashanti had then led the way to Krondon Alleyway, with Alsharafzi and Zonarosa following her, but not really talking to her much at all because she was annoyed at both of them could have sensed that.
Yeah, Krondon Alleyway had kinda sucked.
What it had looked like?
Here.
Whilst the three of them were on their way there, Rihanna and some of the Sugar & Spice organisation in the meantime had kept on waiting for them, with Rihanna checking her watch.
Only Rihanna, Giovanni and Shaylana was there because everybody else was busy.
Seyitan was sick earlier so she had to work an extra shift at work to make up for her sickness and Rosabella was in university right now, so she couldn't really have made it.
Only staying at home in the first place because of one of her relative's funeral.
"Face it Riri, they ain't coming," Giovanni had told her, after she had checked her watch. "They're ten minutes late."
"Actually, they're ten minutes early," Rihanna had corrected him. "Assuming they come right now."
And they did.
Ashanti, Alsharafzi and Zonarosa had walked into the scene, with Rihanna snapping to all of them that they were late.
Before telling them that she was joking and that they were actually ten minutes early instead- and that they should have kept up the good work.
"Ashanti, you read everything I told you to?"
"In and out," she beamed, giving her book back to her. "You said choose three risks to do, and I've chosen them already. Don't say manners when I need to, take candy from a baby and jump to the front of a queue without lining up."
When Rihanna had heard that, she had shaken her head before bursting out laughing with Giovanni and Shaylana in the background.
Ashanti wanted to know what the hell was so funny, with Rihanna telling her that those three weren't really risks.
"But you said choose any!"
"Yeah, but they ain't dangerous enough," Shaylana had informed her. "Rihanna wants you to kill somebody, vandalise a store, but you can keep the take candy from a baby one."
These were the risks in order of how they had appeared in Rihanna's book that she had given Ashanti:
Kill somebody
Vandalise a store
Steal from a store / Shoplift
Steal candy from a baby
Jump in front a queue
Swear out loud in public
Don't use manners when necessary
Confess how you feel to someone you have feelings for (if any) and take what they say the right way. Don't overact or do anything stupid that you will regret.
Start a tantrum in public for no reason
And lastly.
Break a rule to get what you want.
