11. If You Know Like I Know, Then You Don't Wanna Step To This

"So this is it then, Ashanti?" Kehlani asked Ashanti as she had just turned their backs against them, about to head off to find Rihanna. "You're just going to leave us? If you know like I know, then you don't wanna step to this."
Ashanti had just made the very difficult decision of leaving Kehlani & Kishati for Rihanna.
OK, so yeah.
Rihanna had almost killed her and everything.
But she had kinda had to give the girl credit for making her have the most fun time she had ever had in her entire life.
The mechanical bull was dangerous and everything, yeah.
But it was kinda fun at the same time.
In a strange way.
A very strange way, flipping heck.
At this point in time, Ashanti didn't even know what the heck to do anymore.
She wanted to ignore them, but at the same time she didn't because even she had hated it when people hadn't replied to her questions half the time.
So it wouldn't really have been fair if she had done something like that to anyone else.
Turning to face both Kehlani & Kishati again, Ashanti had sighed gravely to herself, before explaining her reasons as to why she wanted to leave them for Rihanna's so called gang.
Even if she was in a gang, Ashanti didn't really believe Kehlani or Kishati when they had said that because they hadn't had any proof about it.
Ashanti was that kinda girl that wouldn't have believed something unless she had seen it for herself.
Especially the most ridiculous things in life, like... oh, she didn't know.
Someone getting struck by lightning and surviving it.
Or in this particular scenario, Rihanna being part of a gang.
"Look, y'all. I think it's time for new beginnings," she had pretty much told both of them. "Kehlani, look. You're my best friend and everything, but God forbid something bad happens to you- then what? I'll have no one. I guess I'll have Kishati but we don't exactly go to the same school and all that."
Then Ashanti had kind of admitted to both of them that she was getting kinda tired of Kehlani now and she didn't know if she had could have trusted Kishati well enough yet.
Heck, for all Ashanti knew.. Kishati could have secretly been a serial killer that was out to get them this whole time.
She wasn't but... hey.
One couldn't have been so certain.
Plus looks were deceiving sometimes.
Ashanti knew this from experience.
Another reason on why Ashanti wanted to follow Rihanna's crew in the very first place was because of Alsharafzi and Zonarosa.
Even though they were part of a gang... that didn't necessarily mean that they had actually liked being in one... did it?
They may not have had much of a choice.
Hey, you OK? You shouted really loudly.
Yeah, I'm fine! You're so sweet. Thanks for asking. Now that I've gotten to know you... how comes you kept looking away earlier when I stared at you? & you seem nice. You seem like you don't want to be here.
You were making some serious eye contact with me earlier, and I don't always like it when people do that. It makes me uncomfortable. And Rihanna's my aunty. I've tried leaving her but it's not always the easiest thing to do.
That was exactly what Alsharafzi and Ashanti had said to each other about the entire situation.
And dang.
If it was hard for Alsharafzi to leave the group, wouldn't it have been hard for Ashanti to do the same thing, assuming she wanted to leave one day?
She hadn't really taken that into much consideration before.
And she still hadn't now, because she had kept thinking about her new potential friends.
"Ashanti, they're not your friends," Kishati warned her. "They're only out to take advantage of you, sis. They're not genuine. If they were, then Rihanna wouldn't nearly have killed you. Please have some common sense left in you not to go to them. They ain't real, sis."
"And you know this how?" She argued back. "Look, Alsharafzi and Zonarosa seem like genuine people. If they weren't, then they wouldn't have asked me after the mechanical bull incident if I was OK. And maybe all of them are nice behind the scenes, but Rihanna just forces them to be rude. That's kinda what I want to find out."
They did seem kinda nice to be honest.
Rosabella had smiled at Ashanti when Rihanna was introducing them to each other.
And.
Well.
Zonarosa was about to ask that but she didn't, because Rihanna had called her name, but Alsharafzi did.
And just because they had seemed genuine didn't mean that they actually were genuine, but once again.
Ashanti hadn't really taken this into consideration again.
She hadn't even said anything to them again, as she had fully just walked away from them, turning her backs on them.
When she had left, Kishati and Kehlani had then stared at each other blankly, before Kehlani had whispered that it was her loss to Kishati.
"Honestly, if that girl lands herself in trouble... then she can't say that we didn't warn her, because we did."
Whilst all three of them were talking upstairs, Rihanna in the meantime was chilling with her crew in a private room downstairs, as ironically, the VIP room had gotten kinda boring.
Rihanna and pretty much everybody in the group besides Zonarosa and Alsharafzi had kept making fun of the fact that Ashanti had nearly gotten killed on the mechanical bull today, but those two had hated that, so they had pretty much resented Rihanna for it.
"I know right? And then the next thing you know, the girl was literally screaming like crazy, crying for help! Funniest thing I've seen in my entire life! And I'm not even that old."
As of this day and age, she was currently 32 at the moment.
All of them had kept on laughing about the whole situation, with Zona and Alsha just glancing at each other when nobody else was looking, before nodding at each other at exactly the same time.
"Making fun of Ashanti like that isn't right, Rihanna."
"Yeah, Alsharafzi's right," Zonarosa agreed. "You went almost way too far with the mechanical bull, Rihanna. Ashanti could have gotten herself killed out there, and it would have been all because of you. Do you really want to be responsible for her death?"
When Rihanna had heard this, she had freaked out at Alsharafzi, before getting annoyed again.
Kinda strangely though, she had then started smiling, which had turned into a laugh.
"Both of y'all crack me up. But Ashanti did deserve that, and we both know it. You know I don't like it when people not in our crew try to get all up in our business."
The only reason on why Rihanna had let Ashanti in the VIP room in the first place was because she had seemed desperate.
Plus she was a huge fan of her.
Which she could have pretty much used to her own advantage.
Speaking of Ashanti, as all of them were about to leave the room because it was getting kinda claustrophobic in there, she had kind of come up to them, standing on a chair.
Then using a blue and white megaphone next to her, goodness knew why it was there, the girl had then shouted:
"Hey, dweeb. You thought this was over? Well. Think again. I'm taking you down, and I don't care what you think about it!"
