Chapter Eighteen: Jilly Billy

I felt the thumping, more then I heard it.

I was half asleep when the noise reached my ears. Immediately, my eyes popped open and settled on the clock that rested on the bed-side table. It was three in the morning for God's sake! Why would someone knock this late? Motherfucking pests!

But, what if it was important? I was about to get up and investigate, when my hotel door crept open. I saw the faintest outline of a person sneak in through the door, before the door was immediately shut. Holy bejesus! Had I imaged that or-?

I heard rustling further in the room and my air supply got cut off.  This was it! I was going to freaking die!

My fingers wrapped around a half-open chip bag that I had practically inhaled earlier that night, after saying goodbye to Joshua. I rolled me eyes in the dark at myself.

Really Lilly? A fucking chip bag as a weapon? You fail.

I held the chips up in the air none the less, and my eyes scanned the room for any movement. I couldn't detect any, because it was pitch black.

"Who's there?" My voice wobbled. I felt like one of those dumb chicks who asked their killer why the hell he had a gun at her face. For a second, I feared that the Red Beanie Bum was in my room, ready to chop my head off.

My toes made contact with the carpet, and I hoisted my body up. I made a dash for the lights, finally reaching the wall I was aiming for. With the flick of a finger, the lights turned on. They blinded me for a minute, before I realized who I was face-to-face with.

Joshua was kneeled over, head in hands, laughing his ass off.

I was about to throw my chip bag at his head, when he asked, in between chuckles, "Could I have some of that?"

He was referring to the chip bag in my hand, still up in the air like a weapon.

"What the hell are you doing, and why are you in my freaking room?" I asked pissed off. Alright, so I was more embarrassed about my reaction then him being with me.

"You didn't think I was going to let you have all of that junk food by yourself right?" He asked with a smile.

"Actually, I did! You, my little Joshy Washy, need to watch your figure!" I made fun of him, trying to make him feel just as embarrassed as I felt at that moment.

Joshua feigned a look of utter distress, before smirking. I didn't realize what he was going to do, until I saw him come my way. My reflexes kicked in, and I hugged the chip bag to my body. I made a run for it, hopping over the bed, to get to the other side of the room. For waking up five minutes ago, I was really energized.

Joshua ended up tackling me before I made it to the other side of the bed. What came next was the worst torture imaginable.

The lowest of the low. The worst thing in the word. Hell on earth.

Tickling.

Joshua began to tickle me once he caught me, making me drop the chip bag. Chips flew all over the bed and on the pillows. I couldn't stop giggling. I was going to get him back for that!

I guess that my laughing was really loud, because the same woman from next door started banging on the wall, forcing us to quiet down.

Joshua finally let go of my hips and laid down on the bed, chips under his body, crunching from his weight. I did the same thing, but lay beside him. There were several inches between us, as we both stared at the ceiling.

"So, are you going to share or not?" I knew he was smiling by his tone. I picked up a chip bag that I knew was under the bed and lifted it up to smack him with it. He dodged the blow, but took the bag from me in the process.

"Jerk!" I yelled.

Joshua just laughed and started to snack on the junk food that was around us.

What I should have done was send the hot Brazilian model that was eating chips on my bed packing.

Did I do that?

Later, I would argue that I was probably on a Skittle euphoria at that moment. But, I ended up spending an entire night with Joshua at my side. Eating all of the crap within our reach, until our stomachs felt like they were about to pop.

I had never talked so much in my life. Topics like our siblings, the rest of our families, school and a whole bunch of other shit was what we talked about.  I can't remember the exact moment that we fell asleep, but I woke up with a huge start the next morning.

I was groggy and sleepy as I looked around the room. Directly next to me, Joshua's sleeping face was mere inches away. I stood up and quickly got ready. Our flight would be leaving in an hour. I had checked the clock before I had risen from the bed.

Once I has fully changed, and only needed to do my hair, I decided to wake Joshua. I had been dreading to wake him up, because I felt weird about the night before. Who would have known that we would become friends by the end of the trip? Or were we even friends? I wasn't exactly sure, and I didn't want to think about it at all.

I focused on not thinking, and tried to figure out a way to wake up Joshua. We only had half an hour left until we needed to be at the airport. I settled on simply poking his face as the fastest mean of waking him up. It sure as hell was better than the last time he had woken up in my bed.

I crouched down to eye level and stuck my index finger to his right cheek. He only stirred, so I decided to do it some more. It wasn't long before I was poking his face repeatedly. I saw his eyes crack open and smiled.

"Wake up, sleeping beauty. We have a plane to get on!" I yelled loudly. I started to laugh when Joshua flinched at my loud tone.

We met up with the rest of the group in the front lobby. I tried not to make any eye contact with Johnny's fuming stare, but I could feel it boring into my face. If looks could kill, I would be dead on the hotel lobby floor at that very second. It freaked me out, but I noticed that I wasn't the only one that took note of the look me and Joshua shared. It was still pretty damn funny.

"Damn, I'm hungry." Joshua taunted. I shouldn't have pushed it further, but I found myself not being able to resist!

"Me too! I could really go for some Ramen Noodles," I smiled jokingly at Johnny. He resembled a tomato by the time my eyes settled on him.

"Ramen Noodles in the morning?" Amanda spoke up in an annoyed tone. Like the very idea was the most disgusting thing she had ever heard. I didn't even look at her and made my way into a taxi instead. My puke green luggage bag was the only thing between me and getting in the cab.

After finally getting situated, we were all off. The ride took a while, but we finally made it to the airport. We were already late, so I lost sight of Joshua as the entire group started to make a run into the jet. I was really thrown off when Joshua started to pull his bags in the opposite direction.

"Hello? This way!" I yelled, half confused, half annoyed.

Where the hell was he going?

Joshua abruptly came to a halt and looked at me with an eye brow raised.

"You never read your purple notebook do you?" He questioned with a smile. Joshua had made fun of me days ago, when he had known about my notebook.

I took the book out of my carrier bag and flipped through it, trying to find the right date. I read the page a couple of times and it finally hit me. Joshua wasn't returning to New York with the rest of us. I felt really stupid for not looking over the damn thing. I had never really had the need to study during school, so the whole "look the book over" thing hadn't ever stuck.

"I guess I don't..." I was a little pissed off at the disappointed tone in my voice. I felt a short breeze pass me by and the flash of blonde hair as Gola ran past me towards Joshua. Jesus! Even Blondie knew that he was going in a different direction.

"Babe! I'm going to miss you so much!" Gola's voice was whiny, annoying, and vibrated throughout the entire airport.

I took her distraction as a chance to glance over the page again. In red pen I could clearly read that Joshua would be going to Brazil for Christmas. It was pretty much a week away, now that I was looking over the calendar.

It wasn't long before Gola made her way onto the jet, after saying goodbye. I knew that everyone else was already on the jet, leaving only Joshua and me.

I cleared my throat awkwardly and looked around the room. This was awkward....

Was I supposed to say goodbye? Should I wave? Would that be weird?

Thank god that Joshua started to make his way over to me, deciding for the both of us. I had no clue as to what he was going to do, until I felt his arms around me. It was a weird feeling, but not entirely uncomfortable.

I could feel his arms around my shoulders and his hands circling around me. I hated that I shivered when he lowered his head down to my ear.

"Bye. I'll see you in a couple of weeks, Jilly" I could feel his smile against my neck as he gave me my nickname.

Later, I would hate myself for such an idiotic response. While Joshua pulled away, I said "Jilly? Really?"

He only smiled as he made his way to his own plane.

I'M SO SORRY!

I know that this is really short and I had initially planned to write a lot more for this chapter. I was also going to post earlier :( Don't hate me?

I wasn't able to because I go to an early college, so instead of having a summer vacation, I have a college class to go to -_-

We had our first test thingy on Friday and I studied my BUTT OFF on Thursday, so I didn't have time to write or post. ALSOOOOOOOOO AHHH!

I'm not sure if you guys care, because it's pretty much a personal story, but who the hell am I if I DON'T SHARE MY LIFE ON WATTPAD?

I MET A SUPER HOT GUY AT THE FREAKING LIBRARY!

I volunteer there and (you guys this is a really long story so I'm gonna summarize and stuff. I'm sorry if you don't really care. You can just skip all of this lol) Well, on the 2nd day that I went, there was this super hot guy shelving books! HOT GUYS DO. NOT. VOLUNTEER AT THE LIBRARY OVER THE SUMMER :O

You just never see people like that at the library. Instead, you see losers like me. Anyway, he's volunteering with his sister AND on Thursday he started talking to me! *faints* The reason that I didn't write once I got home from the library was because they invited me to go to get a freaking smoothie with them. So I ended up going. ALSO, I was really freaked out, because he's just like JOSHUA.  HOLY SMOKES. But yeah...you forgive me for not writing about the imaginary Joshua?

Comparison Chart:  (Because I'm OCD like that)

1. He's really attractive, like Joshua.

2. He's a jerk, Like Joshua.

3. He's a sweet friendly Jerk, Like Joshua.

4. His ex-gf is a girl I know who is freaking beautiful but dumb, like my own personal Gola.

5. I'm pretty smart (early college nerd school, anyone?), Like Lilly

6. He has an AMAZING style (He was wearing an Armani Exchange V neck, dark wash jeans, that day *swoons*), Like Joshua

And the list goes on...

BUT, back on the original topic:

Thank you guys so much for reading and please forgive me! I was so happy when the last chapter reached more then 40 and I'm so sorry that I didn't post when it hit. I will post on time next time! (that made no sense)

Please vote, comment, fan, etc! It means the world to me!
