Rebekah smiled softly at her adorable mate. Watching the hazel-brunette as she bought gold colored coins from an employee.
The blonde's gaze drifted to the employee, only to frown as the teenage boy eyed Paisley like a dog would eye a piece of steak. The Original immediately went up to her mate, wrapping her arms around the smaller girl who craned her neck to look at the Mikaelson.
"I wasn't taking too long, was I?" the oblivious girl asked timidly, "No, I'm just impatient." Rebekah mumbled, earning a giggle from Paisley as the small Lockwood finished paying.
"Well, I'm done, Bekah. We can go play now." she chirped, the blonde hummed, glancing at the employee who kept his eyes on her mate. She inwardly growled, wanting to rip his head off.
However, another idea popped into her mind. Rebekah smirked and pressed her red painted lips to her mate's soft cherry-pink ones.
Paisley's honey-brown eyes widened and deep pink arose to her cheeks and ears.
Once the Mikaelson was satisfied she laced her hand with the Lockwood's smaller one and tugged her away from the counter.
"You alright, love?" Rebekah mused, chuckling at the smaller's beat red face. She squeaked out a 'yes', "Okay, now what game should we play first?" the Original inquired nonchalantly, curiously eyeing the strange modern contraptions Paisley had told her were 'arcade games'.
"H-how about skee-ball?" the hazel-brunette inquired softly, her doe honey eyes meeting Rebekah's sapphire hues, only to find confusion had settled on the youngest Mikaelson's face.
"The bloody hell is skee-ball?" Rebekah questioned, cocking a perfectly sculpted brow. Paisley giggled, "I'll show you." she chirped, tugging the blonde towards the aforementioned game.
Rebekah let the smaller girl guide her along, silently wishing to always see the small hybrid smiling.
The blonde only snapped out of her daze when they stopped in front of a strange ramp-like contraption. At the top were rings with wholes and labeled with numbers. The smaller the target the bigger the number.
Paisley looked up at Rebekah, letting out a cute laugh at the blonde's confused expression. "What is this contraption?" the youngest Mikaelson questioned, raising a brow at the youngest Lockwood.
"It's skee-ball." Paisley stated, "You put the coin in.. take a ball and.. well you're supposed to use the ramp to get the ball into one of those targets to earn points.. but it's more fun to throw the ball."
"Isn't that cheating?" Rebekah mused, furrowing her brows, watching as Paisley demonstrated for her, "I mean the whole point of the game is to get the ball in the whole, so... no?" the hazel-brunette drew out, looking just as puzzled as the vampire.
Rebekah bit back a laugh at her hybrid mate's muddled expression.
Paisley chewed on her lip in both confusion and nervousness, the simple, subconscious made the vampire's heart rate skyrocket.
Though Rebekah was sure Paisley wasn't trying to be adorably sexy at that moment, but it didn't stop the blonde from wanting to kiss those supple lips again, or take her home and bond with her. But she had more restraint and class than her brothers.
"Don't worry about it, my treasure." the blonde mused, lightly pecking Paisley's button nose, "After all, rules were meant to be broken."
Paisley laughed, "Yeah!" she chirped cutely. Lord knew how much Rebekah loved Paisley's laugh. She wanted to hear Paisley's sweet laughter every day for the rest of her days.
*************
Rebekah and Paisley had spend the majority of the morning winning hundreds, possibly thousands, of tickets until they'd finally ran out of coins.
Paisley had neatly folded the tickets so they weren't all over the place, then took Rebekah to the prize counter, which was manned by two employees, a blue haired girl and the boy that had been eyeing the Lockwood girl.
Luckily for him, the girl approached the two supernaturals first, Rebekah glanced at her name tag, which said 'Jasmine' in bold blocky letters. "Hi!" the employee, Jasmine, greeted, "How many tickets do you have?"
"A million and a half, I think?" Paisley answered, looking to Rebekah for confirmation, who nodded. "Whoa! That's awesome. Do you wanna look over the prize list or do you already know what you want?" Jasmine mused, looking between the mates.
"You can pick first, Bekah." Paisley offered, and the bluenette 'awed' at the look of adoration the hybrid had towards the vampire, who nodded, giving the smaller supernatural a light kiss.
"I'd like the two bears." the blonde informed, earning a nod from the bluenette. Once the bears were retrieved it was Paisley's turn. "I'd like those please." the hazel-brunette said softly, pointing at the six piece puzzle necklaces, Jasmine nodded and retrieved them.
Rebekah frowned as her phone buzzed, "You can pick out more prizes, love. I'll be right back, Nik is calling." the blonde informed her mate, who's eyes lit up, "Okay, thanks, Bekah." she chirped.
The Original kissed the hybrid's cheek lightly before answering her phone.
"Rebekah, where the hell are you and Paisley?" the Original Hybrid growled, the woman smirked, "Oh, don't get your knickers in a twist. We're simply out on a date." The blonde rolled her eyes as she heard four deep growls on the other side of the line.
"Don't you growl at me. She's my mate as well, and you four wankers had her all to yourselves for over a week!" she huffed, cocking her hip in annoyance as she glanced at their little mate.
Rebekah smiled at the pure look Paisley bore, looking similar to a child in a candy shop as the pointed at things in a little pamphlet to the bluenette employee.
"I'll bring her over soon, why don't you make yourselves useful and get some food. I'll text you her favorite."
"See you soon, sister." Elijah replied, the blonde assumed he'd taken the phone from their hotheaded brother, "Okay." she hummed and hung up, her smile widening as Paisley padded over with a little gift bag.
"What did Nik want?" the honey eyed hybrid inquired, tilting her head like she usually did when curious or confused. "He and the others were just being stupid." Rebekah sighed, "They got all worked up because I took you out without their permission."
Paisley furrowed her brows, "Why do you need permission to be with me? We're mates." "Men are positively stupid when it comes to their mates." Rebekah sighed, "They usually calm down once they've completed the bonding."
"Bonding?" the hazel-brunette inquired, the blonde smiled, pressing a kiss to her temple, "It's when mates get.. intimate for the first time and mark one another. The mark tells other supernaturals that they're spoken for."
"Oh.." Paisley murmurs, still looking confused, Rebekah chuckled, leaning closer to her mate "Perhaps you'd like me to show you?"
The honey eyed girl let out a squeak as the blonde nipped at a small area on her neck, behind her lobe. The youngest Lockwood's face grew beat red while the blonde smiled shamelessly, "Come on, little treasure."
