(A/N - okay this is the promised one from my birthday as I was really happy. my birthdays over and I didn't post it then as I had to type it after writing it so apologies. Enjoy. I love you all 💕
Jimin and Taehyung looked at each other with worry. They knew they were being paranoid but Jungkook is their dongsaeng and really innocent. Too kind hearted to harm anyone. Why are they so worried? Well because one year and three months ago the younger had finally done what he planned.
Opening up his own small restaurant where people could come in and just enjoy good food. The food ranging from dishes such as burgers, chicken and lamb skewers. He invested money in a italic sign above the door that read 'gochi gojyeo'. Along with it of course vegetables because Jin would berate him for not having healthy options. Along with that you could order minerals or soju. His doors opened from twelve pm until nine pm. He gained many regular customers. People describing it as a place that hadrons food and a feeling of home and belonging.
Jungkook worked alongside Yugyeom, who he baca me close friends with, only a few months younger than Jungkook. The two ran the shop from Monday to Friday. Weekends they always closed. Now you're probably wondering why his two hyungs worried. One night just before closing there was a man, homeless that had been searching the alley behind for leftovers. Jungkook discovering this invited the man in for a proper meal. After some time he had come to a decision. After nine o clock he would close up, than at half past nine/ ten pm he would open up again. People who didn't have a place to go or couldn't afford food could come in and enjoy a warm meal and just socialise. He would keep it open until twelve. It wasn't much but it was something.
As time passed once he gained more income at the end of the month on every Friday he would buy bulks of various clothing from charity shops handing them out to people so they could feel clean. He offered the wash their old clothes and then the following Monday he would give them back. Giving out blankets and jackets too for when it got cold. If it was really cold, or close to stormy he left the doors open for people to sleep without getting sick. From doing this he had gained a few friends. A lot much older than he is but they told stories and people had a good time. Jimin and Taehyung had worried a lot. The younger only being twenty one, and kind, he would be an easy target. So just in case he locked everything up and put the counted money from tills into his small apartment upstairs. Just for emergencies and protection there was a bat hidden under the counter, courtesy of Jin. He wasn't too worried being that he had become quite acquainted with the people that came in, mostly regulars, but much to his sadness there were still people out there who would take advantage of his kindness.

Yoongi walked down through the street hands in his pocket. He had just come from a long meeting with Namjoon and Hoseok about their new songs they were currently working on. It had been a slow day from the get go. He woke up more irritable than usual and too tired to deal with anyone. Hence the reason he looked kind of like a hobo. He was wearing baggy tracksuit pants and at shirt that had a too few many holes in it. A old zip up hoodie thrown over it, and to keep unwashed hair from view a black beanie. He didn't really care how he looked as he would spend his day locked in a studio. The only real downside of the day that he had yet to eat something.
On his route he found a small restaurant that sold lamb skewers. He hadn't had them in a while so decided why not. Entering he went straight to the counter where a young male stood. He was tall, taller than Yoongi. His name tag read Yugyeom. He smiled at him, "Hello there. You're a face I haven't seen before. Welcome! What would you like?" Yoongi without hesitation placed his order, "Can I get one portion of lamb skewers and just a Coke." Yugyeom nodded filling up a glass with his drink, "Sure. Take a seat anywhere and Jungkook will be with you." Yoongi nodded grabbing the glass. He didn't think too much about it, a lot of places you paid after eating.
Waiting he glanced around. He noted that a lot of people look much like he did. They were all smiling and talking to each other. Like everyone in the shop knew each other for a while. He observed as a father and his son came in. The boy just below his knee. The little boy ran forwards into another males arms or well arm. He looked younger, younger than Yoongi. He was also better dressed than everyone else, much like Yugyeom. He had an apron around his waist and a plate in one hand. He presumed it was Jungkook, the one mentioned that would bring the food. He ruffled the littles boys hair before saying something causing the kid to nod and run back to his father. The Jungkook person made his way towards Yoongi, "Good evening sir, here is your lamb skewers. Enjoy. If you need anything else just ask." His voice was light and soft. The kind of voice that could sing lullabies. Yoongi nodded, "Uh thank you." Jungkook bowed before returning to behind the counter.
Biting into a skewer he smiled. It was really good. Cooked perfectly. When he finished he got up bringing the plate back to the counter. Yugyeom took the plate while Jungkook just smiled. He patted his pockets but found nothing. He panicked, "Shit! Where's my wallet gone?" He then remembered he left it at the studio on top of a few notebooks with old lyrics. He looked up at Jungkook anxiously. Not quite sure how he woul take the fact he couldn't pay. He coughed, "Uh excuse me." Jungkook looked up and smiled softly, "Ah, is everything okay?" Yoongi shook his head, "I um. My name is Yoongi and I just finished eat but I'm sorry to say that I've actually left my wallet at work. Would I be able to call my friend or someone to get it. I mean I know it's almost closing time." Jungkook tilted his head, "That's okay it's on the house." Yoongi frowned, "What do you mean?" Jungkook motioned around, "I'll get straight to the point. All these people, none of them have a home. They sleep on the streets. This place usually closes at nine pm. However when I first opened after a few weeks I was closing up and noticed a man rummaging for food so I invited him in and well it stemmed from there. After ten people who can't afford food come here and enjoy company and a meal. So I think I'll be okay if one person off from having to pay."
Yoongi had been speechless and gone home deep in thought. It was strange. There weren't many people who would willingly open their homes for strangers. He knew it was probably a long shot being that the younger seemed like the type to deny his offer being too kind, but he would go back and pay. It was the right thing to do. Plus from view it was a small restaurant and this way it would help with being able to afford giving out free food, even if it only helped a little. That and he kind of wanted to see the younger again.
(Yoongi's outfit ^^)
The following day Yoongi went about his usual routine. Going to work for the day. Opting to look more human he had chosen to wear black jeans, a black shirt and a black hat. He wwire his black face mask and carried a bag with the work stuff and his wallet as he wouldn't be working the following day. Okay maybe it was more for when he would return to the lamb skewer shop. He had made sure his wallet was tucked away in his bag this time, checking multiple times throughout the day. Namjoon had commented on his sudden outfit choice but he waved him off.
Now he was walking down the familiar street wondering if he looked too dressed up. Before he could talk himself out of it he entered the building, walking to the counter. He was once again met with the face of Yugyeom. The younger bowed and he ordered the same as the day before. It was quieter tonight, maybe because it was later and most had probably gone to find a place to sleep. Yoongi had always been grateful for what he had, for what he earned, being here made that gratefulness increase. Jungkook stood beside him holding the plate, "Ah, Yoongi hyung, it's nice to see you again." Yoongi noticed how worn the younger looked and motioned to the seat opposite him, "Sit with me for a moment. Everyone else is okay for the moment." Jungkook hesitated looking at Yugyeom who nodded. Jungkook nodded back and sat down. Yoongi pushed the plate into the middle as a sign that he could share his food. Jungkook shyly reached out and but into a skewer. Pure bliss showed on his face. Yoongi looked around, "What you do here, it's amazing Jungkook. You're like a fallen angel helping those who need it." Jungkook's cheeks turned a light shade of pink, "I'm definitely not an angel hyung." Yoongi watched him for a moment, "No? Close enough to one though. I admire you, and what you do." Jungkook his his face. Huh seemed like he didn't receive many compliments, add in the shyness. Yoongi hoped he could change that. Jungkook looked around the room a sparkle in his eye, before meeting Yoongi's gaze with sincerity, "My doors are open for everyone hyung. Especially for those who need it most. It's not much, I'm not doing anything major. Just offering a place where people can feel like they belong." Yoongi was amazed at how unaware the younger is, "You don't get it. The world, it's changed mostly for the worse and it may not be much but it's a start. What you do for these people probably saved their lives and keeps them here just a little bit longer." This caused Jungkookto become flustered and he left with a stuttered, "i-i must return to w-work but it was good to talk to you hyung."
Yoongi stayed in the restaurant until he was the last person left. He made his way to the counter. Yugyeom waved him goodbye as his shift was over and he had to return home to finish an assignment. All rushed out in one long sentence as he put on his coat. Jungkook had waved the youngest off and turned to Yoongi a curious glint in his eyes. Yoongi pulled out his wallet, "I didn't want to do this in front of everyone earlier, didn't want to be insensitive but here." He placed the amount of money for the meal from both days. Jungkook looked as though he was about to decline but Yoongi beat him to it, "I'm grateful that you would let me eat and not pay, but I have enough money and well I bet half your earnings go to paying for rent, supplies and items for people in need. So this is me doing what I can to help even just a little. I'm going to be honest, my job pays me a lot, and I don't spend much so I'm giving some of it to you. Someone who deserves it. Someone who will do something useful with it and not let it sit in a bank to waste away. I know you'll probably decline any offers of upfront payment, you're too kind to take money without reason so I'll keep coming back, maybe not every day but most days. One because he food is good and two because I personally would like to see a certain cute shop owner more." Without another word he pushed the money towards Jungkook and turned making his way out the door. Outside he glanced back to see the younger blushing once again and staring after him. Yoongi couldn't help but smile, showing his gums. Jungkook noticing smiled shyly back. He was too cute.

Yoongi's watched the cute brunette shop owner as he stopped to talk to various people seeing them off. The apron he wore stained just a little from oil splattering. Another day finished.
It was weird, how he had climbed his way into the older's heart. Well it was more like he crashed, or bulldozed. Jungkook locked up made sure everything was safe. Yoongi still watching the entire time. Yugyeom had left earlier as he had practice all week. He had a showcase coming up. Jungkook removing the apron looked at Yoongi, "You coming or you staying here." Yoongi nodded taking the younger's hand in his and leading him out the door. Where were they going you ask? They were going home. Yoongi had kept his word, returning almost every day, sitting and observing, sharing his food with the brunette and also learning small details about each other. After a few weeks he asked the younger out on a date. A semi disaster to be honest. He had taken him on a picnic bringing along his small dog Holly after the younger mentioned his love for the animals. Halfway through it began to pour rain and Holly had stolen half the sandwiches. He couldn't stay mad at him though. They had returned to Jungkook's apartment to dry off and the younger had laughed it off. After that thing went more smoothly, Yoongi even bringing him to his studio where he met Namjoon and Hoseok. He had been teased for quite some time after that, for turning so soft with the younger. He showed Jungkook his work and even rapped a little. The whole time Jungkook was mesmerised, clapping excitedly when he finalised. Jungkook had then sang for him a little which had stunned the older. Jungkook's voice so beautiful and soothing he would never get tired of hearing him sing or even speak. Eventually he met Taehyung and Jimin who gave him an interrogation. He presumed he passed as they didn't say anything to him. Jin was another story. Questioning him on everything but he could tell the older was just protective. They stopped in front of a average size house. Three bedrooms. Their home. Jungkook had moved in with him after two years of dating. He adjusted himself into Yoongi's life so comfortably that Yoongi would be lost if he ever lost him. It was nice, really nice to come home and know you had someone waiting. Morning were his favourite. He usually woke first and would watch the younger sleeping, admiring his beauty. He would run his fingers tracing his features before kissing his lips, waking the younger up. They enjoyed breakfast together each morning before going their seperate ways to work. Once Jungkook had moved in they renovated the upstairs floor into one big room with a small room with two bathroom stalls. Yoongi investing money in buying several beds, blankets and pillows. Now people could stay there for the night and be warm. Yoongi felt relieved knowing the people were safe and Jungkook too. That at the end of the day he would be on Yoongi's arms. He had found home.
