Shikamarus pov

I ran back to my home with neji in my arms. He's bleeding a dangerous amount of blood. Shit shit shit! Why didn't he tell me about his injury? Was he scared of me? Shit I really messed up!

I burst through the door. Everyone looked at me in surprise.

"where sakura!" I yelled "it's a emergency he needs help!"

"right here!" sakura ran up to me with a hospital bed. I placed him down and we wheeled him to the nurses office.

Nejis eyes fluttered open.

"hey hon my names sakura" she said gently "can you tell us how your feeling"

"mmm I'm cold" he muttered softly.

"he's in shock" sakura turned to me with a serious expression "get him some blankets to keep him warm"

I nodded and grabbed some blankets to wrap around him.

"put this around his mouth" she handed me a gas mask "I'm going to need him to be completely still when I remove that glass piece"

I nodded and placed the mask over his mouth. He looked nervous but he still breathed it in like instructed. He passed out in a matter of seconds.

Sakura nodded and pulled out the glass with some tweasers. A splatter of blood came rushing out. It looked like something out of a horror movie!

She healed up his foot and the blood stopped. She breathed a sigh of relief.

"alright we'll give him a blood pack and he'll be good as new"

"that's a relief" I sighed.

Once she attached the blood pack to him she dragged me out of the room.

"hey what the hell sakura!" I yelled at her.

"you better start explaining yourself shikamaru!" she yelled "where have you been? who is that boy? And what's with the giant sack!?"

I sighed. I'm not getting out of this one! "fine. I'll tell you everything"

*time skip*

"so that's what happened" she said softly before looking back at the sack "it's a relief that we have food again but poor neji. You were a real asshole to him!"

"I'm aware" I rolled my eyes "but I couldn't help it. You know what the hyuga clan is like. You know what they did to us!"

"and you should know that not every member of the hyuga clan is the same!" she scolded me.

I took a deep breath "he really made me angry you know" I muttered softly "I really liked him but when I asked him to leave with me, he yelled about how things were better in there then they were out here. Like he thought his clan was better than us"

"shikamaru I'm sure that's just a misunderstanding" sakura placed a hand on my shoulder with a gentle smile "just talk to him when he wakes up. You owe him a apology anyway" with that she walked away.

I leaned against the wall with a sigh. Troublesome women. She's right though. I do need to talk to him...
