Kimaris pov

"kimari nara wake up this instant!"

I groaned as my mother opened the curtains. My eyes stung at the bright sunlight. Why does he have to do this every morning!

"mom what the heck" I groaned in annoyance as I looked at the alarm clock "it's eight in the morning. I don't have to get up for chours yet!"

"it's your first day back at the academy" mom muttered in disbelief "did you forget!"

"oh crap!" I yelled as I jumped out of bed and made a mad dash for my clothes "hold on mom. I'll be down in a minute!"

"what am I going to do with you child" mom shook his head before leaving.

*time skip*

I ran downstairs where a plate of pancakes were waiting for me.

"thanks mom" I yelled as I scooped the pancakes into my mouth.

"your welcome" mom sighed as he grabbed a brush and started brushing my hair "now let's make you look somewhat presentable"

"what would I do without you" I flashed my big hyuga eyes at him. He shook his head fondly at me.

"good luck today kimari" sasiko smiled at me "please try your best this year. I want you to graduate more than anything"

"yeah so no slacking off" neku scolded me.

"ok I can deal with mom, dad and maybe even sasiko telling me not to slack off but I will not be scolded by my own little brother!" I yelled.

"too bad! I'm doing this for your own good" neku said making everyone laugh.

"you kids sure are lively today" dad chuckled as he walked over to me "good luck out there kiddo. I know you're going to crush it!" he gently kissed my forehead.

"thanks dad" I nodded greatfully before standing up "I better get to school now. Goodbye!"

I ran out the door while my family waved to me. Alright let's do this!
