"are you serious" I muttered in disbelief. I mean this is what they've been working so hard towards. Have they finally achieved it?

"very" shikamaru nodded "narutos finally been appointed as hokage"

"oh that's wonderful!" I yelled as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He smirked as he picked me up and spun me around.

I giggled as I lay against his chest "that means your going to be his royal advisor. That's a well paying job. We can finally afford to give the girls a good life!"

"I know!" shikamarus eyes lit up "tomorrow I'm taking the girls out to spoil them"

"make sure you don't spoil them too much" I said firmly "I don't want our girls ending up as entitled brats!"

"I understand" he leaned down and kissed my lips "let's not worry about that right now though. Today's a good day for us. For the village!"

"right" I kissed him softly "your going to do amazing things shikamaru"

"I already have" he smirked as he looked me up and down.
