Nekus pov

I hummed to myself as I walked home from my friend galas home. It wasn't unnatural that I walk home alone. What was unnatural was the strange guy who came up behind me.

"hello young man. You must be nejis son"

"yeah he's my mom" I muttered softly. I studied the man for a moment. Long hair covered his hard looking face and big eyes that he shared with mom and big sis. He looked like mom but without his kind smile.

"how wonderful" he bent down to my level with a smile "I'm your mother's uncle. That would make me your great uncle!"

"I have relatives!?" a smile spread across my face. I've always wanted a big family just like gala but both my parents parents are dead so I didn't figure I had a chance.

"of course" he smiled at me "your mother was extremely talented with his gentle fist. I've always been very proud of him"

"I wish I was as good as mom" I sighed.

"Well you could be" he muttered softly "come with me to my place and I can teach you the ways of the gentle fist"

"really?" my eyes lit up "that would be awesome"

"excellent" he smiled "now let's get going"

I nodded and followed the stranger back to his home.
