Nejis pov

I sighed as I hid under the covers. Why am I so coweredly? I always hide at the smallest hint of conflict. Will I ever be able to change?

"neji are you alright?" shikamaru asked as he walked into my room. Why do I have to make him worry so much!?

"sorry" I mumbled "I guess I did end up running away after all"

"it's alright. Like I said I'm proud of you for even trying" he smiled warmly at me. I smiled back. I guess that wasn't so bad-

"shikamaru get away from him!" hinata yelled "I still haven't decided if it's safe for you to be around him"

"oh please. It's your hissy fit that scared off neji in the first place" shikamaru rolled his eyes.

"hissy fit!"

The two of them began arguing. I covered my ears to try and block out the noise.

"hey there" I turned around to see a pink haired girl sitting next to me. I recognised her..

"your the nurse that saved my life" I gasped.

"I sure am" she smiled "it looks like their going to be at it for a while. What do you say I give you a tour?"

"that sounds nice" I nodded. Anything to get away from the screaming.

*time skip*

"those are everyone's bedroom" sakura pointed them out "we don't really have a spare bedroom for you and since you don't want to share with shikamaru you'll have to stay in the nurses office"

I sighed "I feel bad for pushing shikamaru away"

"neji you went through a near death experience. Its only natural that you'd feel a little distant from others" sakura said gently.

"thank you for your kindness" I mumbled.

"no problem hun" she smiled at me "hinata really adores you. I should know. She's been talking nonstop about you!"

"oh are you and hinata close?" I asked.

"Well as close as two women in love can be" sakura said blushing slightly.

"your dating hinata!" I gasped.

"yep. I'm going to marry that girl and have beautiful children with her" sakura said dreamily.

"Well I can't think of a better sister-in-law than the woman who saved my life" I smiled at her.

"aww you are so cute!" she hugged me tightly "now come on. There's still more to see"

*time skip*

"this is the baby room for when one of our couples eventually have children" she pointed to a colourful room. I walked inside to look around when-

"boo!" a young boy with a blue scarf jumped out of the ball pit, almost giving me a heart attack.

"komahamaru that wasn't nice" sakura scolded the boy.

"sorry" komahamaru giggled.

"neji this is komahamaru. He's the youngest here so we all treat him like a little brother"

"hi are you shikamarus boyfriend" he asked innocently.

"Umm" my face turned bright red as I tried to think up a response.

"komahamaru stop teasing and go clean your room"

"how do you know I didn't clean my room already?" Komahamaru pouted.

"because I know you" sakura gently pinched his nose "now run along"

He giggled and ran off. Sakura turned to me "ok neji just one last place"

*time skip*

"and this is the beauty lounge where us girls like to pamper ourselves" sakura said as she showed off what looked like a beauty salon.

"oh but you're free to stop by too hun" a blonde lady said "your hairs so healthy looking. It definitely deserves to be pampered every once in a while"

"oh thank you" I blushed slightly.

"neji!" I was suddenly takle hugged by hinata "there you are. I'm sorry if I frightened you off neji. I just wanted to make sure you're safe now that you've left those monsters"

"it's fine hinata" I mumbled slightly.

"yeah me and nejis been getting on great" sakura grinned.

"oh that's wonderful!" she beamed as she pulled both me and sakura into a hug "my two most favourite people in the world are getting along. I can't imagine anything better!"

I smiled happily at them. I'm starting to feel pretty comfortable here. Maybe I really can make a real home here..
