Nejis pov

The red haired boy stared at me in silence. I guess he doesn't know what to talk about either. Ok then let's start with a simple introduction.

"hi I'm neji hyuga. What's your name?"

"garra" he replied.

"do you have a last name?"

"no"

"oh ok" I chuckled nervous. Man this kids an oddball!

He looked down nervously "I'm very sorry about the way I treated you. Before I met Lee everyone I loved had betrayed me one way or the other. I suppose I'm just afraid that eventually Lee will do the same"

I see. He's just insicurate. I can kinda understand where he's coming from.

"I understand" I nodded "before shikamaru I used to think the worst in people. Now I have lots of friends and will a little effort I'm sure you can too"

"I'm not sure about that" he mumbled.

I sighed. How am I going to give garra the confidence he clearly needs? Suddenly an idea came to mind.

I lay down on the soft grass. Garra stared at me in confusion.

"come join me!" I called out to him.

He nodded and lay beside me "wow the clouds are really pretty" the boy muttered.

"aren't they?" I grinned at him "shikamaru told me that whenever I'm stressed I can just stare up at the cloudy sky and all my worries will fade away"

"it dose seem to be helping" he muttered.

"I'm glad" I smiled at him.

We talked for what felt like hours. It felt so easy to talk to him. Everything he was feeling was exactly how I felt a little over two months ago. I smiled to myself. Finally someone I can relate to!
