Shikamarus pov

"konkero!" I heard kiba yell out excitedly. I smirked to myself. His boyfriend must be back! Kibas a good kid but damn if he isn't clingy when it comes to his alpha!

If konkero here then garra and-

"shikamaru!" temari wrapped her arms around my neck. Of course that troublesome women's here! Those sand siblings never go anywhere without each other.

"so I heard you got yourself an omega" she grinned "congrats! It's about time you put yourself out there"

"thank you" I nodded. That was actually pretty nice of her-

"I actually met that omega of yours" temari muttered "he's really pretty. Your really punching up aren't you nara"

"hey!"

"I'm kidding shika!" she chuckled "seriously though I'm happy for you. You been miserable ever since I met you. Its a relief to know that you have someone to rely on" she looked at me sincerely. Temari always has been good at reading me. Almost as good as choji!

"aww you were worried about me?" I said teasingly.

"yeah yeah laugh it up kid!" she ruffled my hair "but your my closest friend so its only natural that I worry about you" she blushed slightly.

I smirked. Thanks to her little brothers temaris always had a surprisingly motherly side. Sometimes she even treats me like a third brother!

"now I've been in that hellish sand village for almost three months now so I think you owe me a drink!" she grinned.

"fair enough" I chuckled as I stood up and we walked to the kitchen together.

As bothersome as that woman is I'm glad she's back..
