*Flashback continues*

"What?" I asked her in surprise.

I and Lyn were doing our assignment in our room when Lyn broke out the news

"So you were saying that you think Ziyan is cheating on you?" I asked her.

"I never said he was cheating on me. Come on keep your books away and listen to me" she said angrily.

"Lyn, I know you have finished all your work and I still need to finish this huge assignment that lady has given me." I showed her what I was writing and she laughed. "You are laughing at me? Then go and find Yas to hear your tales" I said to her and went back to writing. I still was curious about what she has to say to me.

"I heard my name" Yasir opened the door and came inside.

"Why are you here?" Lyn asked him fiercely.

"I have a doubt, Lyn. Please help me solve it" He pleaded with Lyn.

We both looked at each other and laughed hysterically. He looks so cute in that face. Oh, did I forget to say that he is one age younger than us?

*Flashback ends*

"Hey, I am sorry to interrupt. But you said that Yasir is one year younger than both of you. But how come he is in the same class as us." Helga asked me.

"No probs. I don't blame you though. you were listening to me patiently." I told her. "Well, I will say about that in the end"

"Ok, then you continue with the story"

I took a deep breath and continued the story....

*Flashback continues*

"Well, I don't need help from you girls. I am way better than you" Yasir said to both of us.

"Then why are you here?" I asked him munching on the snacks he brought.

"I came to say something. Lyn, I have noticed that your boyfriend comes to our class every break." he said and sat on our bed.

"For what?" Lyn asked him.

"Listen patiently, girl. Or else I won't say anything to you both. He used to pick Ritika from our class and they both go somewhere together"

"What? Ritika? That nerd girl. The one you said is pretty as well?" This time it was me.

"I told you not to interrupt and there it goes. I won't say anything to you girls"

"Oops, I am sorry. You continue" I told him.

"that's what I know. I don't where they go. And when I asked her about it, she told me she won't say to me. I even told her to leave him alone as he has a girlfriend"

"What did she say?" Lyn asked him curiously.

"She said she doesn't know about it and she loves him"

"What? I am sure she is trying to hit on him and he is allowing her to do that. How can he hide something like that from her?" Lyn asked him angrily.

"Well, I told you guys what I have to tell you. Now it's up to you both. I am off" he took the snacks jar from me and looked inside "you finished it this fast?" he asked me angrily.

"Sorry. I was hungry and had no choice" I said to him and gave him a cute smile.

He went to his room murmuring "She eats a lot and yet manages to look pretty and thin"

"I heard you. Anyway thanks" I shouted to him back and closed the door.
I then looked at Lyn. She was about to cry.

"Hey, calm down girl. Tell me what you have been trying to tell me before. Sister comes first" I told her and calmed her down.

"Every time I asked him to about going for a coffee, he would reject saying that he has something to do. He was never like that. But I left that because I trust him. But now Yasir has told me about Ritika, I think he was with that girl all the time he rejected me." She said to me with tears in her eyes.

"Girl, it must be a misunderstanding. He's not a guy who would cheat" I told her.

"But, why did he have to hide it from me. And also he did not tell Ritika about having a girlfriend. There must be something between them." She said and started crying.

She did not even eat her dinner that night. When dad asked me about it, I told him that she is not feeling well. I brought her dinner to the room but she refused it.
That night she cried so bitterly that she slept with tears in her eyes.

Do you remember when I told you about me not liking to get into relationships and all? It was all because of this. Relationships have too many issues. It is only when we trust each other and care deeply that we can love someone. I had many crushes but kept it all a secret with me and Lyn because I don't want to ruin my youth with these love issues.

TWO DAYS AFTER

"You still did not talk with him?" I asked Lyn.

We were on our way to the café near our house. It has been two days and she still hasn't talked with Ziyan about him and Ritika.

"I should get the time right? Every time he is busy. I haven't seen him for a while" she complained.

"Don't blame him. It is you who doesn't have enough brave to face him after what you have heard about him. Problems can only be solved when you talk about it. You can't run away from it......Lyn?" I looked at her saw that she was staring at something.

I looked at the direction where she was looking and saw two people looking at both of us surprised.

It was Ziyan and Ritika. He was holding her hand tightly. He let go of her hand.

"Lyn?" He said "It's not what you are thinking"

She did not dare to listen to him and ran to the other side of the road. Ziyan ran behind her. I was too shocked to realize what had happened. Suddenly there was noise....

*scream*
