See Ya Suckers.

*Alex's POV*

I sat down on a bench, staring at the water. I won. I won all for nothing. Justin's in the Wizard World, he took over for Professor Crumbs. Max still runs the sub station with mom and dad. Harper married Zeke. She's got a family of her own now. Jack hates me. My twin brother actually hates me. God, I miss Jack. I wish I could tell him how sorry I was, but there's no point. I messed up.

Mason's gone. He left me for Juliet. It's funny, I knew all along that Mason was still in love with her. I even let him back into my life like an idiot. After we helped Justin find Juliet, and Mason told her he still loved her, I cut the cord. But seeing him again, putting the love necklace on him, seeing that he still loved me, was perfectly enough for me to welcome him back in my life with open arms. I only rejoined the Family Wizard Competition so I could be with Mason. I guess that was a waste of my time. It was only ever going to be Juliet.

I moved to London almost a year ago. I had to get away from New York. So many unwanted memories there. It was time for me to grow up and put my past behind me. I live in a small apartment at the Powell Estate. I don't really talk to anyone here but Mickey Smith. I'm very close to Mickey Mouse. He's almost like another big brother. His girlfriend Rose is pretty cool too. We've gone shopping together, gone for drinks, she comes over crying when her and Mickey get into arguments, but I wouldn't call her my best friend. I haven't really had a 'girl best friend' since Harper got married. Man, do I miss Harper. Rose and her mom Jackie keep trying to find out what I'm hiding, which I guess is another reason I don't look to Rose as someone close to me. Like I would tell them I'm a Wizard. I don't wanna get my hands cut off.

The people here are a lot nicer than in the city. The way these civilians walk around, totally carefree. I wish I could be carefree. Mom and dad want me to move back home. They say that I'm in the need of family right now, but that's not true. I wanted to get away, I needed to get away.

I'm twenty four now and still a mess, but at least I've started figuring myself out a bit. I wanted to go to school for my degree in teaching. I really wanted to train young Wizard, much like what dad did for us. But, school isn't for me. It never was.

"Alex?" I snapped back into reality, shaking my head as Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Rose, snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Alex? What're you doing here? Why are you out this late?"

"Went for a stroll." Rose crossed her arms, not believing me. She never believes me when she sees me out of my apartment, cause I rarely leave. Rose's right not too. Not to toot my own horn, but a lot of crazy shit happens in London, and I'm always here to protect it. The people here should be happy that I'm always saving it. 'I should write the government a letter, asking for a thank you'. I smirked at my joke. I peered over her shoulder, seeing someone I've actually seen a lot around London. "Who's your friend?"

"I'm the Doctor." What kinda name is that? He smiled at me as he fixed his leather jacket. He was tall, looked about mid forties, had short dark hair, and blue eyes. He's got nice eyes, I can see them from here. Damn.

"If you are alien how come you sound like you're from the north?" Rose turned her attention back to this so-called 'Doctor' person. Interesting, 'alien', noted.

"Lots of planets have a north!" This apparent, 'alien' rolled his eyes at Rose. I squinted mine at him, not knowing if I should trust this man or even believe him for that matter.

"What's a police public call box?" Rose pointed to a blue box. My eyes widened, how could I not notice that it was there this whole time? No. It wasn't there before. I'm not that smart, but I know it wasn't. Hang on. Those panels, the disguise. I can smell the time vortex off that thing, is that a Tardis? How the fuck does this human, alien, or whatever the fuck blue eyed man is, have a Tardis?

"It's a telephone box, from the 1950s. It's a disguise." He smiled at us as he leaned against it. I knew it was a disguise.

"Okay... And this living plastic, what's it got against us?" Rose asked with her mouth open. Oh, so Rose is aware of the plastic dummies trying to take over the world, brilliant.

"Nothing, it loves you, it loves your planet, lots of smoke and oil, plenty of toxins and dioxins in the air, perfect. Just what the Nestene Consciousness needs. It's food stock was destroyed in a war, all its protein planets rotted. So Earth! Dinner!" I raised my eyebrows at him. How does he know what I'm dealing with here? Maybe what Rose said about this man being an alien was true. It would make sense as to why he has a Tardis. But only Time Lords have those and no one knows if they're even real. Dad thinks they're more than just a legend, but me? I don't know. I'd want some proof. He couldn't be an alien though, he looked just like a human. Trust me, I've seen everything there is to see. From old cranky Wizard to dragons that looked like dogs to cyclops' and goblins. This man was no alien.

"Anyway to stop it?"

"Course there is, Rosie." I smiled at her. "Anti plastic." I pulled out the tube that was in my coat pocket. "That's what I'm trying to do if you two would stop raining on my parade. Now go home, both of you, it's not safe out here." I motioned for them to go in the opposite direction as the transmitter.

"And how would you know what anti plastic is?" Rosie crossed her arms at me.

"I know a lot more then I let on, Rosie." I smirked at her. Rose always thought I was dumb. I'm not the smartest person in the entire universe, I'll give her that. But I do know how to stop the consciousness from taking over the world.

"And you think you're going to stop it?" The man tilted his head and squinted his eyes at me, like he was trying to find out all my secrets.

"Course I am. Now, hurry home." I nodded at them, shoving the tube back in my pocket. "It's not safe here." I walked away in the direction towards the transmitter, ignoring Roses calls.

I walked around the disk, looking for a way in. I finally found a covered hole. I took out my wand, "make your troubles no more, go in through the out door." I giggled as I appeared in the vat, "that was easy."

I walked deeper into the vat, looking for the Consciousness. I rested my hands on the railings, staring at the gloop. "Am I addressing the Consciousness?" The gloop swished back and forth. "Is it cool if I approach?" It swished back and forth again, and I walked a bit closer, but kept my distance. Dealing with the Consciousness can be tricky, they're sly motherfuckers. "I've been watching you infiltrate this civilization by means of wrap shunt technology. So may I suggest that you fuck off?" I growled at the gloop, but it swished back in return.

Before I could answer, I heard my name. "Alex?" I turned around and saw Rose.

I sighed, "I thought I told you idiots to go home. It's not safe here."

"And it is for you?" The man crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows at me. Why is he challenging me?

"Kinda what I just said, now if you don't mind," I turned back to the gloop, "I'm not an idiot. This is an invasion. Plain and simple!" I crossed my arms at it.

The man walked over to where I was standing before and turned to the gloop, "I seek audience with the Nestene Consciousness under peaceful contract according to convection fifteen of the Shadow Proclamation."

"Yo, showoff, I already did that part." I said sassily to him. These two idiots are going to ruin my whole plan!

Rose started screaming. "Oh god! Mickey! It's me, it's alright. Doctor, they kept him alive!" Rose called to him as we headed down the stairs. How long has Mickey Mouse been sitting there? Poor Mickey, he's probably pissing his pants right now. If I would've known he was here, I would've protected him. How the hell did they even get him? Why does the Consciousness want Mickey? What did he do?

"Always a possibility. Keep him alive to maintain the copy." The Doctor said nonchalantly. I smirked a bit, guess he was sassy too.

"You knew that and never said?" Rose yelled.

"Let's keep the domestics outside."

The man was getting too close to the Consciousness. "Ah, excuse me." I put my hand on his shoulder, pulling him back. "I wouldn't get that close to it, these things live to trick you."

"How would you know that?" He tilted his head at me.

I crossed my arms again, why does everybody question me? Just do what you're told, man. "Doesn't matter. Just stay behind me and let me do my thing."

"Your thing?"

"Yes, my thing." I rolled my eyes at him, "now if you don't mind-"

He cut in front of me and walked closer to the Consciousness. I rolled my eyes, 'nobody ever listens'. I moved a bit closer, keeping my ground behind him.

"This planet is just starting. These stupid little people have only learnt just how to walk, but they're capable of so much more. I'm asking you on their behalf, please, just go." Huh, maybe he does know a bit about what I'm dealing with here.

"Alex! Doctor! Look out behind you!" I heard Rose scream. I turned around to see plastic dummies coming up behind us. They grabbed a hold of me and him before I could do anything about it.

"Told you not to get too close." I raised my eyebrows at the man.

The dummy took the anti plastic out of our jacket pockets. "That was just insurance! We weren't going to use it!" I was. "We aren't attacking you. I'm here to help. We're not your enemy. I swear we're not- what do you mean?" The man tried to defend us and get out of the dummies hold. The blue box appeared again. Oh my god, I was right. That is a fucking Tardis. "Oh, oh no. Honestly no. Yes that's my ship." The gloop swished back and forth aggressively. "That's not true! I fought in the war! It wasn't my fault. I couldn't save your world! I couldn't save any of them!" He screamed as he was trying to get the dummy to let go of him.

"Time Lord?" I looked at him with my eyes wide. He stared back at me with his eyes wide and told Rose to run. My mouth dropped, I remembered dad teaching us about the Time War, he said it was just an old legend. It actually happened. Dad was right.

"I don't have the key!" Rose cried as she tried to get inside the Tardis.

"Time for plan B." The man looked at me and with his eyebrows furrowed. "You can prank on people you hate and they'll not know because you're invisible." The dummy's arms dropped, looking around for me. I hurried away, banging my knee against the railing. "Ow, son of a bitch!" I turned around to see dummies hurrying over, following my voice. Fuck me.

I looked around, trying to find a solution. I saw chains in the corner of the room and ran over to them. I reserved the spell and grabbed the axe, slamming it down on the chains. I grabbed onto the chains with both hands. "If I die right now, I'd be good with that. I have no one. My family's too busy to remember me and my heart's shattered. I've got just about nothin, but I'll tell you what I do have, the Family Wizard Competition. I won." I ran towards the man and jumped, holding on tightly to the chain. I knocked the Auton that was holding onto the anti plastic into the gloop. The man escaped his Auton, as well as grabbing a tight hold of me as I swung back.

"That was brilliant!" He smiled at me. "Now we're in trouble!" He set me down, before running towards the Tardis. Rose's boyfriend, Mickey, was holding onto the machine for dear life.

I smiled at the man, "you have an actual Tardis?" He smirked at me, unlocking it and the three of them ran inside. I turned around, staring at the vat being destroyed, "see ya suckers!" I ran into the Tardis, slamming the doors shut.

I leaned against the doors because I was so shocked. Oh she's beautiful. 'Don't let it show, Alex. Don't let the idiot man know you're completely blown away by her beauty.' Whoever the hell this man is, he sure is lucky to have such a gorgeous ship. A happy hum filled my ears. Oh she knows she's gorgeous too.

I looked at Mickey, who was completely terrified. I walked over to him and gave him a hug in hopes that I'd bring some comfort to my friend, but he pulled away. Mickey Mouse stared at me like I was some sort of monster.

Once the Tardis landed, Mickey ran out. Rose and I walked out after him. She called her mom, Jackie, just for her to tell Rose to stay inside. I saw her smile and hang up the phone. Rose walked over to Mickey who's sitting on the ground, behind a garbage can, still terrified.

"Fat lot of good you were in there." Rose nodudes to the man. "You were useless in there. You'd be dead if it wasn't for Alex." She pointed to me as she rolled her eyes.

"Should've let me do my thing." I smirked at him.

He turned around and looked at me. Should I not have been cocky? Nah, he was cocky too. "Yes, thank you. I guess I'll be off then or I don't know, maybe you both could come with me? As you know, this box doesn't just go to London, it goes to other planets as well."

"Don't! He's a thing!" Mickey pointed to him, still hiding behind the garbage can. "She's a thing too! I saw what you did." Mickey pointed at me. I frowned, he was my first friend when I moved to London, that stung quite a bit. I might be a lot of nasty words, but a 'thing' is not one of them. Mickey really helped me out last year, he knows I don't handle shit like that well. I want him to think highly of me because I think highly of him.

Screw it. I smirked at Mickey Mouse, deciding to have some fun with my friend. I took out my wand, whispering the spell to make me disappear. "What's that then? Where's she gone?"

"Boo!" I screamed in Mickey's ear. He jumped over the garbage can screaming. "HA! That never gets old." I laughed at him and put my wand back in my boot.

"You have a lot of explaining to do!" Rose pointed at me.

"Eh." I shrugged at her. It's quite simple really. Can't she just figure it out just by the wand?

"What do you girls say?" The man's eyes flickered back and forth between me and Rose.

"I don't even know your name and you want me to just get inside your Tardis?" I crossed my arms at him.

"I'm the Doctor." He smiled at me as he crossed his arms.

"Rose, no." I turned to Mickey, seeing him cling to her legs.

"I can't. Somebody's got to look after this stupid lump." I stared at Mickey, shocked that he wouldn't let Rose go. Rose is bored on this planet. I think seeing what else is out there, would be a game changer for her.

"Hey!" He looked up at her with a pout.

"What about you, Alex?" I turned back to him.

"Is it always this dangerous?" I love danger. I laugh in the face of danger.

"Yeah." The Doctor nodded at me.

I thought for a moment. Justin and Max would love for a chance like this. I've got nothing here on this planet anymore. My family's too busy for me. My best friend is happily married with her own problems. I don't even have Jack anymore. Mickey, Jackie, and Rose were always trying to pry at me. They're trying to find out all my secrets. "Yeah. I'd like that." I nodded to the Doctor and walked into his Tardis. "Bye Rose. Bye Mickey Mouse." I waved to them as the Doctor closed the door. He started the engines, "did you tell Rose that she also travels in time?"

The Doctor's smile got bigger as he ran back to the door. "Did we mention that it also travels in time?" Rose came running in, closing the door behind her, with the biggest smile on her face.
