Rose Tyler is Dead

*Alexs POV*

I sat in a restaurant with Jack and Rose. They were chatting up a storm and I couldn't be less interested. Where the hell did the Doctor go? Why was there another Jack? Is that Jacks future self?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt arms wrap around me. I looked up and saw the Doctor, without his jacket. "Where'd you go? Is everything okay?"

"I don't know, I can't remember." The Doctor eyebrows furrowed as he sat down next to me, taking my hand in his.

"Where's your jacket?" I titled my head at him.

"Don't know the answer to that either. But at least I've got the sonic." He waved it around proudly, taking some of my food that I had yet to eat. "What did you guys do while I was gone?"

"Nothing. We just came here." Rose shrugged.

"You guys are boring." The Doctor laughed as he took another mouthful of food.

We paid and walked back to the Tardis, hand in hand. The Doctor, Jack, and Rose were talking, but I couldn't get my mind to stay focused. Where did the Doctor go? Was he alright? The Doctor opened the Tardis door for me and we piled in. I sat in the jump seat, tuning out their laughter. The laughing quickly stopped, as this bright light filled the tardis. I tried to grab the Doctors hand, but I was sucked into the light before I got the chance.

I felt myself being shaken and I jolted up, "Alex, are you okay? Come on, stand up." I let the woman hoist me up. I stared at her, trying to figure out how I knew her voice. It sounded so familiar. My eyes wouldn't focus, everything was blurry, but I could see that she had wavy red hair and was extremely pale. "Alex, come on! We need help. Use your wand and get us out of here." I titled my head at the woman, squinting my eyes to try and make out who it might be. "Alex!" She yelled as I fell back to the floor. "It's alright, it's just the transmat beam." The woman pulled me back up, slinging one of my arms over her shoulders.

I stared at her as my eyes began to focus, "Harper?" She looked down at me and smiled, helping me to a group of other people. "Where are we? How're you here?"

"We're on game station." Harper shrugged, "we got chosen to be here." Harper continued to drag me over to the people. "Do you remember anything?"

"No." I shook my head at Harper. How the hell is this possible? Nothing gets through the Tardis. The Tardis is a safe place.

"It's alright, you'll remember soon." Harper tried you reassure me.

"But Harper, why are you here? How did you get here?" I stared at her with my eyes wide. Harper is afraid of anything and everything like this, why isn't she flipping her shit?

"Well, I was going to meet up with Justin for lunch, and once I got to the wizard world the transmat beam took me here." I shook my at head at Harper in disbelief, this is happening in the wizard world too?

I slapped my hand against my head, "I remember."

"That's the amnesia! So what happened? Where did they get you?" Harper titled her head at me.

"We went to Kyoto, that's right. Japan in 1336. We were together, we were laughing, and then there was this light... this bight ass light coming through the walls, and then... I woke up here." God, I hope the Doctor's alright. My legs gave out again, but thankfully Harper caught me.

"Yeah, that's the transmat beam. That's how they pick contestants." Harper nodded.

We got closer to the people in the room and I noticed a huge weapon. "Is that a bomb?" I stared at it in shock. What the hell are these people doing surrounding a bomb?

"How stupid are you?" This stubby little man scoffed at me, "we're on Countdown, we have thirty seconds to disable the bomb."

"Why the hell would anyone want to do that?" I crossed my arms at the man.

"We don't. We get chosen and forced into the show." This younger girl said to me. She looks about seventeen and scared shitless. Poor thing.

I walked over to the girl, who was shaking. "What's your name?"

"Dakota." Dakota bit her lip and wrapped her arms around herself.

"That's a pretty name, Dakota. Well not that you asked or anything, but I'm Alex and this is my friend Harper." Dakota smiled a little, "you okay?"

"I just really wanna go home."

"Believe me kid, we all do." I ruffled up her hair, getting a bigger smile. "How old are you?"

"I'm fifteen." Well I was off. Poor thing though, having to know how to disable a bomb at fifteen? I mean, I had to know that, but still. She's a human girl! Dakota shouldn't have to know that.

"Well, Dakota, you're gonna be fine. Stop your shaking, I'll get you out, okay?" I put my hand on her back, trying to comfort her.

"There is no getting out of here." Dakota shook her head at me.

Before I could ask anything else, a computers voice rang out, "thirty seconds, starts now."

The people ran over to the bomb, taking scissors and arguing over which wire to cut. Whether it be green or red, I've got a better idea. "You gonna use magic to save us?" Harper tapped me on the shoulder.

"Duh." I took my wand out, pointing it at the bomb. "I'm rubber, you're glue, take this bomb to someplace new." I shoved my wand back in my boot, as the people jumped for joy. Well, whenever that bomb went, sucks to be them.

"It stopped!" The stubby man threw his arms up, "I saved us!" You just didn't, pal.

I turned around, walking back over to the cupboard that I woke up in, trying to open the door. "You can't leave, Alex." Harper came back over to me. "That's a deadlock seal." I whipped out my wand, sending Harper a huge grin, "sounds good to me."

"Knock, Knock. Who's there? Disappear. Disappear who? Disappear's to be a door eaten by termites." After the door was eaten by termites, Harper and I linked arms, going back inside the cupboard.

"But you can't do that! You'll get disintegrated!" An older woman shouted at us. Oh shut up. If I wanna get disintegrated, then I fucking will.

"Love to see em try." I sent the woman an evil grin. "Dakota? You coming?" She shook her head at me, wow. I was expecting her to jump at the chance, "suit yourself."

"You can't leave!" The douche that called me stupid yelled at me. Well you see, in my world, I'm a princess, and I'll do whatever I want, thank you very much.

"Yes I can, and I will, so watch me."

"Stop! You're gonna get us all in trouble!" Who's fault is that? You guys were invited.

I raised my eyebrows at the asshole, "I'm sorry, did I ask you if I can leave?" I shook my head, "no, no I didn't. So if you're not coming, then shut the fuck up." I gave him a cheerful smile, "thank you." I pointed my wand to the other side of the cupboard, waiting for the door to disappear again. "Floor forty nine." I read out loud, staring at the huge ass sign. "Hold on, I've been here before, this is Satellite Five." I looked around the room, completely surprised.

"Don't know what the hell a Satellite Five is, but is there anyway you can get us out of here?" Harper asked as she looked around the room.

I walked over to a control panel, scanning it with my wand. "Duh, once I find my friends."

"Is one of your friends the Doctor?" Harper raised her eyebrows at me.

I looked up from the panel, "yes, how do you know him?"

"I don't. Your mom and Justin told me." Harper made her eyebrows dance. Oh so since we don't have to worry about the bomb anymore, we gotta worry about my love life. Isn't that cute?

"Is now really the time for this?" I raised an eyebrow in return.

"Yes." Harper laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Two hearts that's him. Level fifty six." I grabbed Harpers hand, leading her to the elevator.

"The Doctor has two hearts?" Harper raised her an eyebrow at me as she clicked the bottom to go up.

"Duh." I shook my head at her, as if she should know.

There was a ding as the doors opened and we walked out, looking around the room. "Hey, handsome!" I rolled my eyes, hearing Jacks voice.

"Is that Jack?" Harper raised an eyebrow at me and I nodded. She grinned excitedly as we followed Jacks voice.

"Any sign of Alex or Rose?"

"I'm right here." I draped my arms over the Doctor and Jacks shoulders, staring at the control panel they were messing with.

"Russo!" Jack crushed me in a tight hug. "Glad to see you're alright."

"Barely." I replied in a sarcastic tone, making Jack smirk at me.

Harper cleared her throat, "Harper Finkle!" Jack yelled, running over to her and giving her a tight squeeze. "Are you okay? Did the game hurt you?"

"No, I'm good." Harper shook her head, "should've seen Alex though, she got so pissed off at this one man in our game." Harper laughed at me.

I scrunched up my face, "he wasn't a man. He was a dick. There's a difference Harper." I crossed my arms, "god I fucking hate annoying people."

I felt an arm wrap around my waist, "I missed you, sweetheart."

I threw my arms up, grinning at the Doctor, who hugged me so tight he lifted me off the ground. "I missed you." I giggled and kissed his cheek.

"I'm Harper." The Doctor set me down, grinning at Harper. "I've heard a lot about you from Justin and Alexs mom."

"Shut up!" I playfully shoved Harper and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"Harper, how the hell are you here?" Jack asked as he tossed the Doctor his wrist device.

"I was in the wizard world and the transmat beam got me. Don't know what the hell they want with me though. I'm human, nothing special."

"Nice, nice. Getting taken in the wizard world, sweet. And who are you?" Jack turned to a blonde girl.

"Lynda Moss." She grinned as Jack shook her hand.

"Captain Jack Harkness." Jack smiled at Lynda, "that's Alex and Harper." I shrugged, I don't care who she is to be honest. I just wanna go back to the Tardis and take a long nap.

The Doctor let out a frustrated groan, and I walked over to him, slightly rubbing his shoulders. "It's not compatible. This stupid system doesn't make sense." He chucked Jacks wrist-device to Harper, and then takes off the top of the computer. "This place should be a basic broadcaster. The systems are twice as complicated. It's more than just television... this station's transmitting something else."

"Like what?" I raised my eyebrows, leaning on the panel.

"I don't know. This whole Bad Wolf thing's tied up with me. Someone's manipulating my entire life. It's some sort of trap and Rose is stuck inside it." The Doctor let a stressful sigh. The wrist device started beeping, "found her! Floor four hundred and seven!"

"Oh my god! She's with the Anne Droid! You've gotta get her out of there!" Lynda gasps. Oh shit. Of fucking course.

The five of us hurried into the lift, "come on! Come on!" I stared at the numbers, slowly moving up.

We finally got our the elevator, running around to each room, "Game Room Six, which one is it?!" I yelled at Lynda.

"Over here!" Lynda pointed to the door and we ran over to her.

"Stand back, let me blast it open." Jack pushes us out of the way, taking out his blaster.

"Can't, it's made of Hydra Combination." The Doctor shook his head and took out the sonic.

We barrage through the door to see Rose standing on a podium. "Rose!" I yelled.

"Rose, you leave this life with nothing." The Anne Droid said to her.

"Stop this game!" Jack yelled at the droid.

"I order you to stop this game!" The Doctors voice boomed through the room.

"We're live on air!" A man yelled at us. I sprinted over to Rose, as she pushed the podium away.

"You are the weakest link."

"Look out for the Anne Droid, it's armed!" Rose yells as she continued running to me. The Anne Droid turns her head and her jaw hinges down, the disintegrator beams shoots out, hitting Rose. I heard Rose scream and stared at the floor, a pile of dust, where Rose was standing.

"What the hell did you do to her?" I heard Jack yell. I crouched down to the pile, staring at the dust. I ignored everything that was going on around me. Hearing people yelling as I picked up some dust in my hands. Rose. Oh my god no. Please tell me this is a nightmare and that I'll wake up, in my bed on the Tardis. This can't be happening. I felt myself being pulled into a hug. I knew it was him. I'd know his cologne anywhere. I looked up at the Doctor, who was staring at Roses dust pile in horror.

I felt myself being dragged away from the Doctor, but I couldn't bring myself to move back to him. "Don't you touch her! Leave her alone!" The security guard pulled me to my feet and placed a gun to my head. I didn't care enough to resist, Rose is gone. "You killed her! Your stupid freaking game show killed her."

We were shoved out of the room, "ma'am, I'm arresting you under Private Legislation Sixteen of the Game Station Syndicate." I was slammed roughly against a gate as they searched me. He whipped out my wand from my boot and forced me to turn around to face him. "Can you tell us the purpose of this device?" I stared at the wall behind the security guard, ignoring everything he's saying. I heard the guard snap my wand in half, but I didn't care enough in that moment. Rose was the only thing on my mind.

They brought the five of us in a small cell, interrogating us. "Can you tell us how you got on board?"

"Just leave them alone." Lynda turned the to security guard, who grabbed her chin.

"I'm asking them, not you." He released her chin and turned back to us, "can you tell us who you are?" None of us answered. They took us out of the room to have mug shots taken, before I knew it, I was back to sitting on the bench in the cell.

"You will be taken from this place to the Lunar Penal Colony, there to be held without trial, you may not appeal against this sentence." I swallowed, I don't care what you do with us. "Is that understood?"

The guard goes to leave, "let's do it." All five of us leaped to our feet, knocking all the guards out. We walked out of the cell, each of us grabbing a shit tone of weapons. We piled into the elevator, going to floor five hundred. Harper grabbed my hand, sending me a squeeze. I didn't return it, just stared at the elevator door, still hoping that this was a nightmare.

The door opened and the five of us hurried out, "okay! Move away from the desk! Nobody try anything clever. Everybody clears!" Jack yelled and the staff did as they were told. "Stand to the sides. And stay there."

I stormed over to this weird looking lady, who was hooked up to all these wires, "who's in charge of this place?" She didn't answer, just continued counting numbers. How fucking rude. "This Satellite's more than a Game Station." She continued counting her damn numbers. "Who killed Rose Tyler?" I yelled at the creepy woman.

"All staff are reminded that solar flares."

"I want an answer!" I looked over my shoulder, seeing the Doctor giving the woman a hard glare.

"She can't reply." We turned around to see a man shifting awkwardly behind us. I swung my gun around, making everyone flinch. "Don't shoot!"

"No promises." I sent the man a glare, who's eyes widened back at me. I turned to the Doctor, "we've got more guards coming, I'll secure the exits." I grabbed Jacks arm and ran. "Okay, I've got these four, you get the other four." I called to Jack as I locked the doors.

"Got it." Jack hurried away from me. I checked my four doors, sealing them so security couldn't get in. "Are you okay?" I turned around and looked at Jacks doors, that were already locked.

I nodded, "are you? She was your girlfriend after all."

Jack rolled his eyes at me, "Rose wasn't my girlfriend. We were just, messing around. You should know me better than that Russo, I don't do girlfriends." Jack pulled me into a tight hug, "it's going to be fine, Russo." I shrugged, grabbing his hand as we ran back to the Doctor. "Door's sealed. We should be safe for about ten minutes." Jack yelled to the Doctor.

"Keep an eye on 'em." The Doctor called back, I ran over to him, slipping my hand into his.

"But that stuff you were saying about something going on with the Game Station, I think you're right. Unauthorized transmats... it's been going on for years."

"Show me." I turned to Jack as his device beeps again, he puts his hand on the door, and I stared at him questionably. I let go of the Doctors hand, and walked over, titling my head at Jack.

"You're not allowed in there! Archive Six is out of bounds!" A woman yells at us. Oh shut up lady. We came in here with guns, do you really think a room is off limits for us? Idiots.

"Harper?" I nodded to the woman.

Harper grabbed a chair, "sit down." She screamed in the womans face. I burst out laughing, staring at the surprised look on the woman and the Doctors face. "I love yelling in peoples faces! Nobody ever expects me to scream that loud."

"Man, I missed you." I laughed and hugged Harper tightly.

Jack grinned, holding up both his guns, walking over to woman Harper screamed at, "do I look like an out-of-bounds sort of guy?" He pushed the door opened and we both grinned. It's the Tardis! Jack grabs his key and opens the door, a happy hum filling our ears. We walked inside and I stared at the railing, with Roses jacket draped over it. I picked it up, staring down at it. Oh Rose... "What the hell?" Jack raised an eyebrow at the monitor and I hurried over, grinning at what the Tardis was trying to tell us. "Rose isn't dead." I felt my grin getting bigger.

"What is this place?" Harpers mouth was down to the floor as she walked inside.

"It's the Tardis." I sent Harper a smile as she looks around. "Can go anywhere in time and space. Pretty fucking cool if you ask me."

"Bigger on the inside." Harper grinned and ran a hand over the railing. "Love it." The Tardis sent Harper a happy hum, making her giggle in return.

We hurried out of the Tardis and back to the Doctor, "found the Tardis!"

"We're not leaving now." The Doctor shook his head at us. Well no shit. Thanks for stating the obvious, love.

"No. But the Tardis worked it out. You'll wanna watch this." The Doctor turned around, watching Jack. "Lynda, could you stand over there for me please?"

"I just wanna go home." Lynda gave Jack a pout. I rolled my eyes at her. We all do bitch, now do as your asked.

"It'll only take a second. Could you stand in that spot, quick as you can?" Lynda walked over to where Jack pointed, "everybody watching? Okay... three, two, one..." Jack pressed a button and the disintegrator beam shoots down from the ceiling and hits Lynda.

"But you killed her!" The Doctor yelled at Jack.

"Oh, do you think?" Jack pressed the button again and Lynda reappears next to the Doctor. "It's a transmat beam. Not a disintegrator. A secondary transmat system."

"People don't get killed in the games! They get transported across space! Doctor, Rose is still alive!" I jumped into the Doctors arms, Jack joining in. We were grinning and laughing like a group of idiots.

"She's out there somewhere!" The Doctor laughed happily.

"Doctor! Coordinates five point six point one." The Doctor grabbed my hand, pulling me over to the creepy woman.

"Don't! The solar flare's gone, they'll hear you!" The Doctor shook his head at the creepy woman.

She cried out in pain, "point four three four... no my masters, no! I defy you! Stigma seven seven..." The wires detached from the woman and she disappeared, leaving a pile of dust where she once was.

"They took her." The Doctor shook his head in disbelief. He turned to me, "her masters controlled her. Apparently they're afraid of me."

I shrugged, "who isn't?" The Doctor rolled his eyes at me, pulling me to the computer Jack was at.

I scoffed, listening to Jack flirt with everyone that comes his way. "There's a time and a place." The Doctor rolled his eyes at Jack.

"Are you saying this entire set-up's been a disguise all along?" The woman who yelled at me and Jack before turned to the Doctor. Well no shit. An idiot could've pointed it out.

"Going way back. Installing the Jagrafess a hundred years ago. Someone's been playing a long game. Controlling the Human Race from behind the scenes for generations."

Jack handed the Doctor a small device, "click on this." The Doctor clicked on it, "the transmat delivers to that point. Right on the edge of the solar system."

"There's nothing there." The woman shook her head at us.

"It looks like nothing. Cause that's what this satellite does. Underneath the transmission, there's another signal..."

"Doing what?" The man stared at us in disbelief.

"Hiding whatever's out there. Hiding it from sonar, radar, scanner..." We stared at the blank expanse of space. "There's something sitting right on top of Planet Earth... but it's completely invisible. If I cancel the signal." The Doctor pressed a few buttons and looked back to the screen, feeling my jaw drop.

"That's impossible. I know those ships... they were destroyed." Jack stared wide eyed at the screen.

"Obviously, they survived." I mumbled, grabbing the Doctors hand tightly.

"Who did? Who are they?" Harper tugged on my arm.

"Two hundred ships. More than two thousand on board each one. That's just about half a million of them." The Doctor stared in complete shock.

"Half a million what?" The man looked back and forth between us and the window.

"Daleks." The Doctor and I said together, squeezing his hand tighter.

"Isn't that what Max flashed into your living room?" I nodded back to Harper, not taking my eyes off the ships. "We're screwed."

"I will talk to the Doctor and Alexandra Russo." A Dalek voice boomed throughout the room. Why does everyone have to say my full name? Fucking bullshit. Don't call me Alexandra or Lexi, is it really that hard?

The Doctor and I walked over to the monitor, staring at the three Daleks with Rose in the picture. "Oh will you? That's nice. Hello!" I grinned as the Doctor waved at the Daleks.

"The Dalek Stratagem nears completion. The Fleet is almost ready. You will not intervene."

"Oh, really? Why's that then?" I crossed my arms at the monitor.

"We have your associate. You will obey or she will be exterminated." Wow. These Daleks are so scary. Oh shut the fuck up you stupid rolling tin cans. Like the Doctor and I would let you exterminate Rose. Please.

"No." The Doctor shrugged, earning head jerks from everyone in the room.

"Explain yourself."

"I said no." The Doctor replied, nonchalantly.

"What is the meaning of this negative?"

"It means no." I shook my head at the Daleks. Idiots.

"But she will be destroyed."

"No! Cause this is what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna rescue her. I'm gonna save Rose Tyler from the middle of the Dalek Fleet, and then I'm gonna save the Earth, and then just to finish off, I'm gonna wipe every last stinking Dalek outta the sky!" I looked at the Doctor,. who was grinning away. I couldn't help but laugh myself, oh what a mad man.

"But you have no weapons! No magic! No defences! No plan!" Just because I don't have my wand doesn't mean I can't do magic! It might not be as strong, but I still have some magic! Assholes.

"Yeah. And doesn't that scare you to death?" I grinned at the Dalek fleet. "Rose?"

"Yes?" Rose grinned back at us.

"We're coming to get you." The Doctor clicked the device and the communication line closes. Jack, Harper, the Doctor, and I hurried into the Tardis, on our way to save Rose Tyler.
