Meet the Wizards
Hey guys:) So I just wanted to apologize because i know google translate fucks up the spanish grammar. i'm actually Puerto Rican and my nana speaks fluent Spanish, sadly she didn't teach me any and she didn't answer when i asked her to help me write out the conversation between Alex's mom and the Doctor. Please don't come @ me about it, just tell me nicely and i'll fix it:) *Also, sexual content in this chapter*
*Alex's POV*
Okay I know that Jackie is a handful, but why did the Doctor refuse to talk to her? It's literally just tea. 'I told you Alex, I'm not like everyone else.' My ass. That sounds like everyone else to me. This man is literally going out of his way to get to know me, but is refusing to get to know Jackie? Why am I wasting my time when he clearly doesn't want to get to know anyone.
I went off to the library, sitting in my usual spot, reading my book. I bit my lip, "who the fuck am I kidding, I'm not reading." I put the book down and stared at the ground. I was actually sorta sad. How can the Doctor be so lonely when he refuses to let people in?
"Alex." I looked up and saw the Doctor, leaning against the door. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you trying so hard to get inside my head but you refuse to have tea with someone. Jackie just wants to understand." I wasn't really mad at him, if anything, more confused.
"I don't do families." The Doctor shook his head.
"What if we went to my apartment and my family was there? You'd just shut them out?" He was a little awkward with Justin...
"No, Alex." He sighed, walking a bit closer, "they're Wizards, well at least your dad's side is, but your mum is still aware that everything is not what it seems. Jackie wouldn't understand for a second, I doubt she'd even try too. We'd probably just end up arguing with each other." He shook his head at me. I sighed, understanding his point. Jackie isn't the easiest person to talk to. The Doctor stared at me, looking like he was deep in thought. "Come on. Let's go get a sub from the Russos." I raised my eyebrows at him, uh... Don't think you wanna do that, Doctor. "I already sent out the signal, so we're good." He grabbed my hand, leading me back to the console. "Address?" He's really gotta prove a damn point.
"I don't think you wanna do that, Doctor." I shook my head at him, "my family is a hot mess."
He chuckled at me, "don't care. Address?"
I sighed, "Waverly Place, New York. This is on your own head, sucker." I pointed at him. He's gonna wish we stayed here.
The Doctor motioned to the door after we landed and I rolled my eyes. I walked through the familiar roads I grew up on as a kid. I stopped outside the sub station and smiled a bit. He went to open the door and Iput a hand on his chest, stopping him. "My dad's really really awkward, Max is an idiot, and my mom's the most normal." He nodded his head and walked in. We sat down in a booth, opening up our menus.
"Justin!" I saw Justin walking through the door and I waved to him. He walked over to the booth, sitting next to me, "what're you doing here?"
"Hey Alex, Doctor." He nodded to us. "Well, when I saw you, I realized I missed the rest of the family." He laughed, opening his menu. "Thought I'd drop by."
"How may I help you?" I looked up at Max and smiled. He squinted his eyes at us, "you two look very familiar." He pointed to me and Justin. I sighed loudly and rubbed my fingers on my temples. How did this kid make it past high school? I looked at the Doctor, who I could tell was trying really fucking hard not to laugh.
"Justin! Alex!" Mom came running over to us. "I missed my children. Jerry!" She sat in the booth behind me and Justin, wrapping her arms around our shoulders.
Dad walked out of the back room, "Justin, Alex!" He pulled up a chair, sitting at the head of the table, "how are you guys? It's been too long." He smiled at us, "why are you guys here?" His smile faded and he stared at me. "What did you do? Is the government back to take us again?" Mom and dad looked around the room.
"Seriously? I haven't done anything." I crossed my arms, pouting.
"It's true she hasn't." Justin smiled at me. "She's been good." Thankfully someone notices.
"That's a first." Mom mumbled and I playfully glared at her.
"Oh!" Max pointed to us. "That's Alex and Justin!"
Justin and I both started rubbing our temples, "oh my god." I shook my head. "Why haven't you had him evaluated?"
"Because we know what they're gonna say." Mum shook her head. "Who's your friend?" She nodded to the Doctor.
"That's the Doctor." He waved at my parents, grinning.
"Hello!" My parents waved to him. "You three are probably hungry. Do you guys know what you want?" The Doctor nodded and he told her what he wanted. She's my mom, she knows what I like. "We'll go get you guys some sandwiches." Mum and dad hurried to the back room.
"See? Not so bad." The Doctor smiled at me.
"Oh, just wait." Justin threw his arms up. "Alex will probably end up totally destroying something." I rolled my eyes at him. I sighed, ignoring the 'traumatizing' stories Justin was telling about all the horrible spells I did on everyone. Such a dick, I swear.
"Here you go." Mom and dad handed us some sandwiches. "So mija how's London?"
"It's really nice there. I like it a lot." I smiled at mom.
"Alex, you never told me you were spanish." The Doctor raised his eyebrows at me.
"Yeah, on my moms side." Mom wrapped her arms around my shoulders again.
"De donde eres?" (Where are you from?) The Doctor asked mom.
"México. Tu hablas español?" (Mexico. You speak spanish?) Mom had the biggest smile on her face. How can he get her to smile like that? I graduated high school and she wasn't even this smiley. Jack and I weren't even supposed to graduate. An asteroid landed on the school and destroyed all the proof of us failing classes.
"Sí, alemán, francés, italiano, chino, ruso y mucho más." (Yes, and German, French, Italian, Chinese, Russian, and lots more.)
"Guau. Puedes venir cuando quieras. Ni siquiera necesitas traer a Alex." (Wow. You can come over whenever you like. You don't even need to bring Alex.) Yeah yeah, blah blah blah, I don't know Spanish. Speak English please.
"Must you make my parents like you more than me?" The Doctor chuckled and shook his head at me.
Dad pointed at me, "hold on. Didn't you go missing for a whole year?"
"Kinda hoping that wasn't going to come up." I shrugged. "Went traveling." I took another bite of my sandwich.
"So where'd you go?" Dad asked, resting his chin on his hand.
"Around." I shrugged.
The Doctor shook his head at me, "Alex, it's fine. You come from a family of Wizards, they already know to suspect the unknown." Dad and mom raised their eyebrows at him. "We went traveling in my Tardis."
Dad and Justin's jaw dropped. "Wait, seriously? You have a Tardis?" The Doctor nodded to Justin. Oh god. Dad's definitely fangirling right now.
"So that makes you a Time Lord." Dad choked out, staring at the Doctor wide eyed, who just nodded, continuing to eat his sandwich. "I told you guys it was more than a legend! What did you go see?"
"The year five billion." I smiled at them and dad was ready to jump out of his seat.
"Well, as long as you're not destroying anything." Mom shrugged her shoulders. Some places deserve it, mom.
Justin put his hands on my shoulders, "don't set 'it' off mom." I rolled my eyes at them. Seriously? I'm not gonna blow something up, I'm somewhat mature now. I got up, helping mom clean up.
I've had enough of Max for one day. I don't know how I survived living with this kid for twenty years. I walked back over to the Doctor, who was talking to Justin and dad. I stood behind him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "You ready?"
"Sure, sweetheart." He tilted his head at me. "It was nice meeting you and thank you for the sandwiches." The Doctor smiled at them, standing up.
"Alex, don't forget to call." Mom pointed to me, "it's nice to hear from you." But you guys never answer when I call! And when I do call everyone freaks out!
"Bye guys." I gave them each a tight hug, before grabbing the Doctor's hand and heading back to the Tardis.
"You turned your dad into a bug?" The Doctor asked with his eyes wide. Justin. That rat.
"No, I left the portal door open and a bug flew in and bit him. I didn't turn him into a bug, Doctor." He raised his eyebrows at me, "shut up."
"Make me." I looked back at him with my jaw on the ground. Oh my god he actually just said that. I felt my cheeks heat up and I hurried back to the Tardis, taking out my wand and unlocking it.
"Should we go and get Rose now?" I asked sitting down in the jump seat. "There's some stuff I need to get from my apartment as well."
The Doctor nodded at me, programming the Tardis to go back to London. "I'll be back." I kissed his cheek and hurried out, not wanting him to see me blushing. I tried to hurry up with my packing, not wanting to keep the Doctor waiting. I ran into my lair, grabbing some more potions and spell books. I looked at my bag, ew. It's so big. I walked outside, going down the stairs, back to the Tardis.
I saw the Doctor standing outside. "Where's your stuff?"
"Bags from home, meet me here, take them here, and bring them near." I pointed inside the Tardis and he rolled his eyes at me.
I went to go inside but he stopped me, "down the hallway, make a right, third left, last door on the end." I raised an eyebrow at him, "your room." I nodded and walked inside, following the directions he gave me.
I opened the set of white doors, I leaned against the door, smiling to myself. His Tardis was absolutely magnificent. The room was a dark grey, there was a queen sized bed, a desk, TV, and my own bathroom. I looked up at the ceiling, smiling at the stars above my head. I walked over to the window, looking at the fake sunset. I snickered a bit, but it was still gorgeous. I set my bags down and started to unpack. I changed into a comfy t-shirt and pajama shorts. I giggled, knowing the Doctor would comment on my shirt. It says: 'Don't fucking touch me.'
I got bored pretty fast. So I went to the Tardis library, opening the book about my dad. "Thought I'd find you in here. You see your room?" I looked up and saw the Doctor heading over to the couch I was on, with his own book.
"Yeah, thank you, Doctor. It was perfect." He smiled at me and sat down next to me opening his book in his lap. I shifted over to him, "do you mind?" I moved his book and put my head in his lap, continuing to read my book. He laughed a little, shaking his head. He rested his book on my shoulder, starting to read.
I looked up when I heard the Doctor laughing. "What?"
"I told you, you've got a funny reading face." He laughed more at me. I don't. He's got a funny reading face.
"No, I don't!" I rolled my eyes at him. He's always saying that, it's not true. My face always looks like this. Hold on.. Is he saying I'm funny lookin?
"Yes you do, you scrunch up your face like you're mad." He continued to laugh. Bastard.
"Shut up, Doctor." I rolled my eyes again at him.
"Maybe I don't want to." He said in a mocking voice.
"Tsss." I rolled my eyes. He picked me up, leaning me against the couches armrest and started tickling me, "Doctor, stop!" I laughed/yelled, trying to get off his lap.
"If you haven't noticed, if there's one thing I can do, it's talk. Never tell me to shut up!" He continued tickling me.
"Uncle! Uncle!" I yelled, but he didn't stop. "Fine fine! I won't ever tell you to shut up again."
He stopped and put one of his hands to his ear, "what was that?"
I slapped him playfully on the arm, "you've got big ears, you heard me." He started tickling me again, "okay, I'm sorry! You don't have big ears and I won't tell you to shut up! So stop it!"
"Good." He put his finger under my chin, kissing me. I blushed and wrapped my arms around his neck, his hands going to my waist. After a few minutes, he licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I denied. I felt his hand move up to my stomach and he tickled it a bit, making me laugh. He took that opportunity to shove his tongue in my mouth. I moaned, not expecting him to do that. I wasn't really trying in our tongue war, knowing he would win anyway. I leaned forward, making him lean against the back of the couch, I moved my legs to both sides of him, so that I was straddling him and took his jacket off. I tightened my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. The Doctor moved his hands from my waist to my ass, slightly grabbing it.
I pulled away, "can't you read the shirt?" I pointed to the phrase and he laughed at me.
He moved his hands to the bottom of my shirt, pulling it off. "Can't read what's not there." I blushed, did he actually just do that? Jesus christ. He wants to play that game? Fine. I wrapped my arms around his neck again, shoving my tongue in his mouth. He groaned, running his hands up and down my back. I pulled away, taking his shirt off quickly, kissing him again. His hands ran up my back, unclipping my bra. I moved my arms so he could get it off. His hands trailed up my stomach, grabbing my boobs. He ran his thumbs over my nipples, and pinched them slightly, making me moan loudly. I felt him smirk a bit into our kiss. Fine Doctor. I started grinding myself against him, making him groan. I smirked into our kiss, don't get so cocky Doctor.
He wrapped an arm around my back, tilting me slowly to lay down. He pressed his body against mine, his hand running down to my shorts, slowly pulling them down. He rubbed my thighs gently with his fingertips. He pulled away when he traced over some scars. He looked down at them and I shifted awkwardly, slightly embarrassed. "Beautiful." I smiled a bit, I know I shouldn't be comparing them, but Mason thought it was weird that I did this to myself. It felt nice to hear him say that. That even though I've destroyed my body someone still thinks it's beautiful.
He leaned down, kissing me again. He groaned as I stuck my tongue back in his mouth. The Doctor leaned forward more, so he was on top of me. I wrapped my legs around his waist, trying to get him closer. I trailed one of my hands down to his jeans, slowly unbuttoning and unzipping them. I shoved my hand in his pants and I rubbed my thumb slowly over his tip, making him groan loudly. "Alex? Alex, are you in there?" We pulled away quickly, hearing Rose coming. He grabbed his shirt, putting it back on quickly and I grabbed my clothes, "Fuck." I heard her right outside the door. I got off him and rolled under the couch.
"Hey, Doctor, have you seen Alex? I need to talk to her."
"Yeah, she was just in here, she had to go to her room real quick." Nice job hiding your startled voice, Doctor. Real smooth. I flashed myself into my room, hurrying to get dressed. I ran back to the library, hoping Rose was gone.
I saw her standing outside the library doors, "hey, Rosie." I patted her on the shoulder walking back in.
"Wait, I need to talk to you." I raised an eyebrow at her and she motioned me to follow her. Oh jesus. I felt my heart sinking. You know when you get a text from someone and it's like 'we need to talk,' or 'I have a question.' Yeah my heart's beating like that right now.
We walked back into her room and I sat down on her bed, it was so different than mine. Hers was a light pink, flowers everywhere, totally girly. "What's up?" I kicked my legs back and forth, trying to keep myself calm.
"Listen, I don't want you to get mad so please don't be and I know we aren't as close as you and Mickey but the Doctor knows." She bit her thumb nail, staring at me.
I raised an eyebrow at her, "knows what?"
"About your arms. When you passed out, he was rubbing your wrist and I know he saw."
"Ohhh. Yeah, he knows. He talked to me about it already." I nodded at her. Phew. Thought this conversation was going in a totally different direction.
Rose smiled at me, "so are you and the Doctor?" She started poking me in the arm. I rolled my eyes at her, "I'll take that as a yes!" Her smile got bigger, "you seem happy, Alex." For once, I kind of am.
I smiled a bit, yeah I mean defeating aliens and traveling through different points in time and seeing other planets is pretty damn cool. "I am."
"Good." She gave me a hug.
I walked over to the door but stopped, "Rose, I do look at you as someone close to me. I didn't before because you didn't know about magic so I stayed closed off. But now that you do, you've topped Mickey." She squealed and hugged me again. Man, this girl squeals a lot. It's alright though, I'm use to it because of Harper
"Are you ever going to forgive Mickey? He feels bad about what he said when he first found out you were a Wizard. He says that he was just so worked up and so much shocked him that day that that just tipped him over."
"I'm not really mad anymore, at the time it really did upset me. I mean it's Mickey, he's afraid of his own shadow. Forgive and forget." I shrugged. Rose laughed at me and I closed the door, walking back to the library.
"What was that about?" The Doctor looked up from his book.
I sat back down next to him, "she just wanted to tell me that you saw my arms." He nodded, putting his book down.
The Doctor turned his body to face me, "listen, Alex, I don't want you to think that what was about to happen was just me, wanting to uh," he paused, "have sex and I don't want you to view me like Mason." He's not like Mason. I know he's not. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, never thought that Doctor, but alright. "I actually am attracted to you..." He bit his lip staring at me. "I know you're probably confused right now because you saw Mason and then I kissed you and then we almost"-
I cut him off and kissed him gently. I pulled away, grabbing his hand, and rubbing my thumb over his knuckles, "Doctor, I was never confused when Mason showed up. I was more pissed off that Jackie called him."
"Oh well, that's good then." He nodded at me, slightly frowning. What a child.
I smiled at him, "as much as I'm scared to admit it, I'm attracted to you too, Doctor." I honestly have no idea why I am and why I trust him, but I do. There's something about his vibe and I don't know what the fuck it is. The best relationships happen unexpectedly, right?
The Doctor's face lit up, "that's good then." I giggled at him. He scooted closer, wrapping an arm around me, "I want to be with you, Alex. I know Mason toyed with you and that you're scared but that's okay, I'm scared too. But I want you, Alex. When you're sad, when you make mistakes, even if we're arguing, I just want you. If you want to wait, I don't mind waiting, I'll be patient. I just hope you don't start to catch feelings for someone else cause I don't really think my feelings are going to change. I would understand if you caught feelings for someone else,"-
"Do yourself a favor and shut up." I kissed him gently again. "I don't want to wait, Doctor."
He grinned like a madman, "really?" I nodded at him. "So, we're together?"
"Yeah." I nodded, I didn't think it was possible, but his grin got bigger. "Question though, is this an open relationship?"
The Doctor raised an eyebrow at me, "uh no?" He questioned. Was that not an okay thing to ask?
"So if some girl flirts with you, I can flash her to the sun?" I giggled.
The Doctor snorted, "yes, Alex." He pulled me closer to him, "if some man flirts with you, can I throw him in a blackhole?"
I laughed, "duh."
"And if you feel scared about us, please talk to me, Alex." He tucked my hair behind my ear, "I just want you to be happy."
"Promise." I snuggled into his chest, happy that for once, I wasn't scared about being in a relationship with someone.
