I Wanna Poke Her Brain With A Stick II
Hey guys! So, I completely changed the ending of this episode. Feel free to skip it, they all make it out alive (obviously) . But anyway, hope you guys enjoy and don't hate it too much!
*The Doctors POV*
"Look, they only give us twenty minutes maintenance, can't you give it a rest?" Cathica complained to us. No, we're not giving this a rest. This technology is way before its time.
"You've never been to another floor? Not even one floor down?" I sat in a chair, Rose leaning on the back of it. I wish Alex was here, where the hell did she go?
"I went to floor sixteen when I first arrived, that's medical, that's when I got my head done, and then I came straight here. Satellite Five, you work, eat, and sleep on the same floor. That's it, that's all." She tilted her head at me, squinting her eyes. "You're not management, are you?"
"At last! She's clever!" I said sarcastically, throwing my arms in the air. I smiled to myself, knowing Alex would've said something beyond sarcastic and probably rude as well.
"Yeah, well, whatever it is, don't involve me. I don't know anything." Cathica said sternly. You're already involved, there's no turning back now, Cathica.
"Don't you even ask?" I crossed my arms at her.
Cathica looked puzzled. "Well, why would I?"
"You're a journalist!" I yelled at her. Humans. "Why's all the crew human?"
"What's that got to do with anything?" Her eyebrow furrowed.
"There's no aliens on board. Why?" I might not like Adam, but it was a good question.
"I don't know, no real reason, they're not banned or anything." She seemed unsure of her answer, why's that?
"Then where are they?" I shook my head, looking around the room.
"I suppose immigration's tightened up. It's had to, what, with all the threats." I raised my eyebrows at her questionably.
"What threats?" I shook my head at her. What kind of threats are going on here?
"I don't know all of them. Usual stuff." She sounded completely lost. "And the price of space warp doubled so that kept the visitors away. Oh, and the government on Traffic Five's collapsed, so that lot stopped coming, you see just, lots of little reasons, that's all."
"Adding up to one great big fact, and you didn't even notice." I shook my head, disappointed in her. If she's such a good journalist, why didn't she notice anything strange before?
"Doctor, I think if there was any kind of conspiracy, Satellite Five would have seen it. We see everything." Cathica tried to sound reassuring, but failed miserably.
"I can see better." Rose elbowed me, "we can see better." I motioned to Rose, who smirked proudly. "This society's the wrong shape. Even the technology."
"It's the cutting edge!" Cathica threw her hands up.
I rolled my eyes at her, "It's backwards! There's a great big door in your head! You should've chucked this out years ago."
"So, what do you think is going on?" Rose chimed into the conversation. Finally.
"It's not just this space station, it's the whole attitude. It's the way people think. The great and bountiful human empire stunted. Something's holding it back."
Cathica crossed her arms, "and how would you know?"
"Trust me. Humanity's been set back about ninety years, when did Satellite Five start broadcasting?"
Cathicas mouth dropped a bit, "ninety-one years ago." Thank you for proving my point, Cathica.
We left the room and I started playing around with the mainframe. Wow this station was actually really nice. Not as nice as the Tardis, but they've got a lot going on in here. "We're so gonna get in trouble." Cathica whined. I ignored her and continued scanning the side of a door with the sonic. "You're not allowed to touch the mainframe, you're gonna get told off."
"Rose, tell her to button it." I motioned to Rose. Jesus this woman could ramble on, she's almost worse than Jackie.
"You can't just vandalise the place, someone's gonna notice!" Cathica continued to complain. "This is nothing to do with me, I'm going back to work." She started to walk away. I wish Alex was here, she would've ripped Cathica a new one. She stopped and turned back around, "I can't just leave you, can I?"
"If you wanna be useful, get 'em to turn the heating down. It's boiling. What's wrong with this place, can't they do something about it?" Rose asked as she started to fan herself.
Cathica shrugged, "I don't know, we keep asking, something to do with the turbine."
"Something to do with the turbine." I repeated after her. She is probably the worst journalist out there, how the hell can these people not ask questions? They're journalists! It's what they do!
"Well, I don't know!" Cathica depended herself.
"Exactly! I give up on you, Cathica." I motioned to Rose. "Now, Rose, look at Rose. Rose is asking the right kind of questions." Rose smiled at me, "why is it so hot?"
"One minute you're worried about the Empire and the next it's the central heating!" She shook her head at us.
"Well, never underestimate plumbing. Plumbing's very important." I continued to mess with the wires and the screen. "Ah." I turned the screen to show Cathica, "here we go, Satellite Five, pipes, and plumbing. Look at the layout."
"This is ridiculous. You've got access to the computer's core. You can look at the archive, the news, the stock exchange and you're looking at pipes?"
"But there's something wrong." I said looking at the screen.
"I suppose." Cathica shrugged at us. You 'suppose'? Seriously?
"Why, what is it?" Rose asked, still staring at it.
"The ventilation system. Cooling ducts, ice filters, all working flat out channelling massive amounts of heat down."
"All the way from the top." I grinned.
"Floor five hundred." Rose said with a grin.
"Something up there is generating tons and tons of heat." I started at the screen, completely baffled.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I feel like I'm missing out on a party. It's all going on upstairs. Fancy a trip?" Rose smirked at me.
Cathica interrupted us, "you can't, you need a key."
"Keys are just codes, and I've got the codes right here. Here we go, override two one five point nine."
"How come it's giving you the code?" Cathica scrunched up her face.
"Someone up there likes me." I grinned at both the girls.
"Where's Alex?" Rose said, continuing to fan herself.
"Don't know." I shrugged to Rose. I don't understand why she didn't tell me. She always tells me where she's wandering off to.
The elevator doors open, Rose and I went in, leaving Cathica outside. "Come on, come with us!" Rose waved for her to come in. Doubt she will.
"No way!" She shook her head. Told ya. "Well, don't mention my name. When you get in trouble, just don't involve me!" Cathica stormed off. I'm not even that much of a goodie goodie.
"Seriously, Doctor, where's Alex? It doesn't feel right without her here." Rose turned to face me.
"Have no idea where she is." I put the card into the controls, sending us on our way.
The doors opened and we stepped out. I looked around the room, oh my god it's freezing up here. What the hell is going on? "The walls are not made of gold. You should go back downstairs."
"Tough." Rose shook her head at me, continuing to walk around.
"I started without you." Rose jumped a bit, startled that someone else was up here. I grabbed her hand, following the sound of the voice. "This is fascinating. Satellite Five contains every piece of information within the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire. Birth certificates, shopping habits, bank statements, but you two don't exist!" He laughed. "Not a trace! No birth, no job, not the slightest kiss. How can you walk through the world and not leave a single footprint?"
Rose rushed over to Suki, who was sitting in front of one of the screens. "Suki! Suki!" She knelt down next to her, but Suki doesn't respond. "Hello? Can you hear me? Suki?" She turned to the man, "what've you done to her?"
"I think she's dead." Rose scrunched up her face at me.
"But she's working." Rose turned back to Suki, trying to get her to move.
"They've all got chips in their head, and the chips keep going, like puppets." I motioned to Suki. Ew Rose, stop touching her, she's dead.
"Oh! You're full of information! But it's only fair we get information back, because apparently, you're no one." He laughed at us. "It's so rare not to know something. Who are you?" The guy tilted his head.
"It doesn't matter, cause we're off. Nice meeting you." I grabbed Rose's arm, trying to pull her away from Suki, but two puppets grabbed me. "Come on." Rose tried to come and help me, but Suki grabbed a hold of her too.
"Tell me who you are!" The man screamed at us. I'm not telling you anything.
"Since that information is keeping us alive, I'm hardly gonna say, am I?"
"Well, perhaps my editor in chief can convince you otherwise." He gave me a grin and I didn't like it.
"And who's that?" I growled back at him.
"It may interest you to know that this is not the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire. In fact, it's not actually human at all. It's merely a place where humans happen to live." I heard a nasty growl. I was a bit nervous to look up. Anything with that kind of growl can't be very friendly. "Yeah, sorry. It's a place where humans are allowed to live by kind permission of my client." He pointed upwards and at the creature in the ceiling. I forced myself to look up, seeing a huge creature attached to the ceiling.
"What is that?" I could hear how horrified Rose was just by her voice.
"You mean, that thing's in charge of Satellite Five?" I yelled at the man.
"That 'thing', as you put it, is in charge of the human race." I looked at Rose, who was completely frightened. Gotta keep your companions on their toes. 'Not the best time to be cocky, Doctor'. "For almost a hundred years, mankind has been shaped and guided, his knowledge and ambition strictly controlled by its broadcast news. Edited by my superior, your master, and humanities guiding light, the mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe." The Jagrafess roared, making me jump a little. "I call him Max." The man says innocently.
Rose and I were put into manacles, trapping us in the room with the beast. "If we create a climate of fear, then it's easy to keep the borders closed. It's just a matter of emphasis. The right word in the right broadcast repeated often enough can destabilize an economy, invent an enemy, change a vote."
"So, all the people on Earth are slaves?" I asked him with my eyebrows raised. How disgusting.
He tilted his head and thought about it. "Well, now. There's an interesting point. Is a slave a slave if he doesn't know he's enslaved?"
"Yes." I growled at him. How stupid and selfish can this man be? This has to be a joke. How do they think they're getting away with this? Surely someone's noticed.
"Oh. I was hoping for a philosophical debate. Is that all I'm going to get? 'Yes'?"
"Yes!" I yelled back at him. He's worse than Adam.
I started shaking the manacles, trying to get out. "You're no fun."
"Let me out of these manacles, you'll find out how much fun I am." I tried breaking free again, but it was no use. Where the hell is Alex? I hope she doesn't come up here.
"Oh, he's tough, isn't he?" He grinned at Rose, wrong girl, pal. "But, come on. Isn't it a great system? You've got to admire it, just a little bit."
"You can't hide something on this scale. Somebody must've noticed." Rose said to him.
"From time to time, someone yes. But the computer system allows me to see inside their brain... I can see the smallest doubt, and crush it." He grinned. "And then they just carry on, living their life. Strutting about downstairs and all over the surface of the Earth like they're so individual." I stared behind the weird guy, seeing Cathica. Thank god. "When of course, they're not. They're just cattle. In that respect, the Jagrafess hasn't changed a thing." He tried to defend himself.
"What about you? You're not a Jagra... uh... a..." Rose started stuttering, not remembering the beast's name.
"Jagrafess." I reminded her.
"Jagrafess." Rose corrected herself. "You're not a Jagrafess. You're human."
"Yeah, well being somewhat human doesn't pay very well." Somewhat? The hell is he on about?
"But you couldn't have done this all on your own." Rose continued.
"No! I represent a consortium of banks. Money prefers a long term investment. Also, the Jagrafess needed a little hand to um... installing himself."
"No wonder, a creature that size." I took a short glance at Cathica, who's still hiding, and spotted the Jagrafess on the ceiling. "What's his life span?"
He grinned at me, "three thousand years." Don't grin at me like that, mate.
"That's one hell of a metabolism generating all that heat. That's why Satellite Five's so hot. You pump it out of the creature, channel it downstairs, Jagrafess stays cool, stays alive. Satellite Five's one great big life support system." I tried explaining so Cathica could understand.
"But that's why you're so dangerous. Knowledge is power, but you remain unknown." He laughed, then clicked his fingers. The manacles send an electric shock through us. "Who are you?"
Rose cried out in pain, "leave her alone. I'm the Doctor and she's Rose Tyler, we're nothing, we're just wandering."
"Tell me who you are!" He continued to press.
"I just said!" I yelled at him. Open up your ears.
"Yeah, but who do you work for? Who sent you? Who knows about us? Who exactly-" He stops and grins. "Time Lord." He stared at me. Oh my god, how the hell does he know that?
"What?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Oh, yes! The last of the Time Lords in his travelling machine. Oh, with his little human friend from long ago..." He motioned to Rose.
"You don't know what you're talking about." I growled at him. I hope Alex doesn't have anything to do with this...
"Time travel." He says with a grin.
"Someone's been telling you lies." I growled at him again.
"Young master Adam Mitchell?" He snapped his fingers, and a projection of Adam, screaming in pain, the compressed information still flowing into him.
"Oh, my god, his head!" Rose screamed looking at it.
"What the hell's he done? What the hell's he gone and done? They're reading his mind. He's telling them everything!" I yelled at the screen. I stared at the screen, looking to see if Alex was in the room. I felt myself go into panic, not seeing her there. 'At least she had nothing to do with Adam's head', I kept trying to reassure myself.
"And through him, I know everything about you. Every piece of information in his head is now mine. And you have infinite knowledge, Doctor." His grin gets bigger, "you've travelled. The Human Empire is tiny compared to what you've seen in your T-A-R-D-I-S. Tardis."
"You'll never get your hands on it. I'll die first." I spat at him.
"Die all you like, I've got the key." He ripped it off of Rose's neck. There was a loud beeping sound on the screen and the man hurried over to see what was going on. "The most powerful Wizard of them all." He smiled at the screen. I felt my hearts racing, seeing Alex in the elevator. "Alex Russo. Oh this changes everything." He danced around the room, clearly happy, "hear that boss? We've got the most powerful Wizard in the palm of our hands." The Jagrafess growled, oh god. How does he know Alex?
"Looks like Adam is telling you lies!" I tried to defend her. Oh god Alex, just go back downstairs, don't come here.
"How do you know Alex?" Rose asked him, her voice filled with worry.
"Oh just long enemies." He smirked at us. Alex please go back downstairs. Go kick Adams ass for doing that to his head, just stay away from here. "With her control over time and her Wizard powers, we can make the human race not exist. Oh my god we're going to be rich!" He laughed loudly and pointed to me, "his Tardis is just a bonus." I heard the elevator door ding, I bit my lip, oh god, Alex. I saw Cathica running away, "ah and here she comes," I looked at the screen and saw Alex in the elevator.
We waited, but she never came out. "Oh Lexie? Where are ya? I've got a couple friends of mine that want to say hi." He taunted as he walked around the room and was looking for her. He shoved one of the puppets out of the chair, "find her." The puppet started walking around, leaving the room we were in.
"Doctor?" I looked over at Rose, "where is she?"
"How should I know?" I shrugged at her. I jumped, feeling something touching me. I couldn't see anything, but my jacket was moving. I started shifting, feeling whatever the hell it was, it was grabbing the sonic. I felt something on my cheek, a kiss? I sniffed the air, knowing it smelt familiar, like vanilla. Alex! She's invisible! I grinned, my girl is absolutely brilliant. The man noticed and blew up whatever was behind me, setting off sparks.
I watched the sonic fall to ground and Alex quickly picked it up. "Ah she's smart." The man smirked, setting off sparks behind where she was again. "Still like to play games, Lexie?" She knocked over whatever was in her way, leading him straight to her. But suddenly, it stopped. "Oh Lexie, come out, come out wherever you are." He chanted, looking around the room.
We all looked up, hearing the Jagrafess growling. "Haven't you ever thought of brushing your teeth, goddamn." Gorog sent sparks up at Alex again. She screamed as we heard her let go of whatever she was holding onto. We heard her grab onto something else, she became normal again, swinging herself around the railing and hitting the man with her legs in his back.
"Gorog." Alex growled at him. "Oh my god, his fucking head." Alex stared at the screen, seeing Adams' brain. I rolled my eyes at Alex, seriously? Did you have to cuss?
He jumped back up, "how're you Lexie?" He smiled at Alex.
"Why is it that everyone I hate calls me 'Lexie'?" I smirked to myself, she hates Adam too. 'Now's not the time Doctor'. I shook my head, getting focused again. "See you turned into Jack Frost since we last met."
"I'm not Jack Frost, my dearest Lexie, I'm still an angel of darkness." He grinned at her, "we need something that belongs to you Lexie." Alex raised her eyes and Gorog motioned to the creature above us.
"Which is what exactly?" Alex spat at him, holding her wand up, ready to defend herself at any time.
"Time." He smirked again, "give it to us Lexie."
"Fuck off Gorog." She rolled her eyes at him,
"But think about it Lex, you can have the whole universe in your hands. You can prevent the Daleks from destroying your lover's planet." Gorog motioned to me, I shook my head at Alex, who gave me a sad look.
Alex looked back at Gorog, thinking about it for a moment. She shook her head, "I know how your mind tricks work, Gorog. You've tried many times to get my head wrapped around your finger and to defeat me, but you've failed each time."
"No you've failed, because I keep coming back. Now. Kneel. Your soul is mine." He inched closer to Alex, her slowly moving backwards.
Alex continued to move backwards, until she was pushed up against the wall. She looked around the room, trying to figure out what to do. I tried getting out of my manacles again, but they wouldn't budge. I can't even help her. Gorog trapped Alex in a corner. Alex's eyes widened, "that's it! Three Wizard siblings using their power together, generates immense power."
"What?" Gorog raised an eyebrow at her. What the hell does that mean? Where is she going with this?
She waved her wand around, mumbling some spell. Justin and Max appeared next to her, looking just as confused as Rose and I did. "Alex, what're you doing?" Justin looked around the room, "Gorog." He growled at him. So does everyone know this guy? What's up with him?
"Alex, why did you flash us here? I was in the middle of dealing with a customer." Max rolled his eyes at Alex. His eyes widened as he saw Gorog, standing there with a huge smile on his face. "Oh hey Gorog! It's been a minute!" Max went to shake his hand but Alex and Justin pulled him away.
"Max." Justin and Alex rolled their eyes at him.
"Gorog trying to take time again?" Justin tilted his head at Alex.
"Well that just sums everything up." Alex shrugged. "Love how you just knew."
"Well, I am smarter than you." Justin grinned at Alex.
"Am I the only one who doesn't know what's going on?" Max threw his arms up. I rolled my eyes, yes Max. Yes you are. Alex and Justin groaned dramatically and rolled their eyes at their little brother.
"You're such an idiot!" Alex yelled at Max. "He's trying to take time again, Max."
"Again?" Justin crossed his arms at Gorog and groaned miserably.
"If I may interrupt this family meeting?" Gorog rolled his eyes at the trio.
The three rolled their eyes back at him. "No, you may not, but seriously man, what's up with you? Don't you know when to quit?" Justin threw up his arms.
"Don't know how much help I'll be. I have no magic." Max threw his arms up at Alex. Alex and Justin looked up at the ceiling, bright orange swirls came out of their mouths and they blew it on Max. "Never mind then, we're ready."
"Alex, let's just make this easy." Gorog stepped closer to her, "you have no use for this type of power. All I'm asking is for your power.
"What use do you have for it, Gorog?" Alex crossed her arms. "In your fucking dreams, you're not getting it." Alex spat at him.
"Silly Lexie, I gave you the choice to do it the easy way. But, you just had to be difficult. I know you'll be seeing it my way." Gorog smirked at her, "because you'll do anything to save your brothers." Gorog blew up a part of the roof, sending icicles flying down at Justin, Alex and Max.
"Look out!" Justin grabbed ahold of his siblings and pulled them out of harm's way. But that didn't stop Gorog. He snapped his fingers, sending the puppets after them. I continued fighting in my manacles, as did Rose.
Alex stood in front of Justin and Max, using her wand as a forcefield around them. Gorog stood in front of the forcefield, "you know, I heard that you never listened in your father's Wizard training. I thought they were just rumors, but apparently they're true. Any Wizard should know that force fields don't protect anyone from potions."
My mouth dropped as Gorog sent out some sort of potion from his hands, through the forcefield. I felt my hearts dropping as I watched as Justin and Max inhaled it. "Oh my, dear Lexie, this is my dream. Watching you get defeated by your own family. How precious." Justin and Max's head snapped at Alex, grabbing her arms and forcing her to kneel in front of Gorog. Alex struggled against the both of them, but it was no use. I tried breaking out of my manacles, but they wouldn't budge. "I have finally defeated the power of the Russos!" Gorog screamed. My hearts were pounding. I looked down at Rose, seeing her trying to break free too. "Today, we are the headlines. We can rewrite history. We could prevent mankind from ever developing." Gorog said grinning. I felt completely hopeless, I couldn't get out of my manacles to help her.
"Cathica! Cathica, do it now! Cathica!" I watched as Alex screamed as Gorog grinned at her.
"What's happening?" Gorog asked, looking around frantically. We saw on the screen that the information stopped flowing into Adam. Thank god. "Someone's disengaged the safety." He snapped his fingers and the projection shows Cathica, the compressed information flowing into her brain. "Who's that?"
"It's Cathica!" Alex yelled. "And she's thinking. She's using what she knows!" Alex smiled at the screen.
Gorog ran over to Suki, "terminate her access."
"Everything I told her about Satellite Five, the pipes, the filters, she's reversing it! Look at that." I yelled at him. "It's getting hot."
"I said, terminate!" He placed his own hands over Suki's. "Burn her mind." All the screens suddenly exploded with sparks, and the puppet people fell onto the floor, the ground started shaking and my smile got bigger.
"She's venting the heat up here. The Jagrafess needs to stay cool and now it's sitting on top of a volcano." I exclaimed, yes!
Justin and Max let go of Alex, "as if we would ever hand over our sister to you." Max growled at Gorog.
"We have to do it now!" Alex cried. I watched as Justin, Alex, and Max placed their hands on top of one another. "Hear these three Russos cry, begone Gorog vaporize." An orange light came out of their hands and flashed at Gorog.
"What? What're you doing?" Gorog screamed as he melted away. Oh my god. That's my girl! She did it!
Alex ran over to me and Rose, using my sonic to free us. "Alex, you need to hurry up! That Jagrafess is going to explode! We're basically sitting under a volcano!" Justin yelled at Alex.
"Oh shut up, Justin. You were a monster hunter for five minutes." Alex rolled her eyes as she freed us and we went running to Cathica. I snapped my fingers closing the door in Cathica's head. All six of us sprinted to the elevator, heading downstairs.
Rose and I were sitting at a table with Cathica, while Alex was talking to Justin and Max. "We're just gonna go. I hate tidying up. Too many questions. You'll manage."
Cathica shook her head at me, "you'll have to stay and explain it. No one's gonna believe me."
"Oh, they might start believing a lot of things now. The human race should accelerate. All back to normal." Be the journalist I know you are and tell everyone what was going on.
"What about your friend?" She said nodding to Adam. He was never my friend, I only let him come because of Alex and Rose. I'm not blaming them for anything, just don't like that guy.
"He's not my friend." I stormed over to Adam, Rose, Alex, and her brothers following.
"I'm alright now. Much better. Well, it's... I know... " Adam laughed nervously. "It all worked out for the best, didn't it?" I took my key out and unlocked the door. "You know, it's not actually my fault, because you were in charge." I shoved Adam inside, programming the Tardis to his house.
"Why do you look so familiar?" Max pointed at him. I heard Alex sigh loudly, clearly pissed off at her brother's stupidity. Bless Max. I grabbed Adam and shoved him out of the Tardis, everyone following.
"It's my house! I'm home! Oh, my god, I'm home! Blimey. I thought you were going to chuck me out of an airlock." Wish I did, mate.
"Is there something you want to tell me?" I spat at him. I've absolutely had it with this boy.
"No. Um... What do you mean?" Adam tried to sound innocent, like I'm an idiot. Mate, you're the idiot here.
I walked over the phone and picked it up. "The archive of Satellite Five. One second of that message could've changed the world." I slammed his phone down and shoved my sonic to it, hearing it explode.
"That's it, then. See ya." I huffed at Adam.
"How do you mean, 'see ya'?" Adam asked, throwing up his arms.
"As in 'goodbye'." Justin yelled at him.
"But, what about me? You can't just go, I've got my head, I've got a chip type two, my head opens." Adam threw his hands up.
"What? Like this?" I snapped my fingers, opening Adam's head.
"Don't." Adam said harshly to me. Boy you better not be harsh to me. He snapped his fingers and it closed.
"Don't do what?" Justin snapped his fingers, opening his head again.
"Stop it!" Adam closed it again.
"All right now, boys, that's enough. Stop it." Alex puts her hands on my chest.
Adam turned to Alex, "thank you." Alex smirked at him as she snapped her fingers. I smirked at Adam along with her.
"Oi!" Adam protested, closing his head again.
"I wanna try!" Max snapped his fingers, watching his head open, "oh that's awesome!" Adam rolled his eyes at Max, snapping his fingers to close it again.
"The whole of history could've changed because of you." I spat at him.
"I just wanted to help." Adam tried to sound innocent.
"You weren't trying to help anybody but yourself. You almost got Alex killed! You literally almost killed all six of us!" Justin yelled at him.
Adam ran over time Alex, grabbing her hand, "Lexie, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten the chip. You've messed up a lot, can't you forgive me?"
"I don't care enough to forgive you, Adam. The Doctor was right, we should've left you at the museum." Alex ripped her hand out of Adams and motioned to me, "and my name is Alex. Don't think you're allowed to call me Lexie."
"Rose, please!" Adam gave her a sad look, but Rose just shook her head at him, clearly disappointed. "But you can't just leave me like this." Adam continued to plead.
"Oh yes I can." I scoffed at the idiot. "Cause if you show your head to anyone, they'll dissect you in seconds. You'll have to live a very quiet life. Keep out of trouble. Be average. Unseen. Good luck." Alex used her wand to open the Tardis door, being the first to go inside. We followed in after her, each of us giving Adam a dirty look.
