this was originally posted on another site. there is a lot of editing that needs to be done on this story. however, i felt so overwhelmed by the prospect that i abandoned writing for months and months. in the interest of getting my mojo back, i am going to go ahead and post the remainder of the unedited chapters, despite their flaws and inconsistencies. please be a bit forgiving until i have time to go through it all again. this story is very dear to me.
