At a roadside diner, minutes outside of Covington Springs...

"Is Boss Lady here yet," asked Ebony Blaze (real name, Alexander Lybella who was a mage-in-training) as she wiped down the last of the tables while her friend Snow Dropp (Evan Salmann, earth faerie direct cousin of the Faerie Queen from the Seelie Court) collected the rest of the ice-filled cups that the customers left behind. "Taranna said that all of the coven members need to be here with this announcement about the new Omegas in town and them being mated to the Nguyen Alphas."

"Not yet," commented Honey Combe (a fire elemental named Reggie Colvard-Samuels who was originally from Dallas) as they collected the last of the menus. "But Craven just checked in three minutes ago and he's coming in from his show over in Orangeburg and he's almost here. I wouldn't be surprised if he was here now."

Sure enough, the drag king in question (real name Alison Bellmarino, a seer) came into the diner in his leather-daddy getup with Daniel and Verano Malanoa (FTM gorgon/siren hybrids), Kandide Jones (a dryad hybrid from North Augusta), and Anita following suit. "Sorry we're late," Craven apologized. "Had to pick up the others along the way."

"Right on time, to be honest," Ebony commented as she helped one of the human busboys clear away the last of the tables. "We need to make sure that the diner is cleared out because Taranna has some important announcements to make, hence us closing early."

The diner in question was known as the Onyx Fin Diner, a small hideaway restaurant that attracted people from all walks of life ranging from the townspeople and others from the surrounding area to various leaders of various supernatural communities in the area to even the President of the USA and random royals looking to escape their duties and even catch a respite. But the diner was also a gathering hotspot for the witch coven known as the Black Lily Coven that ran it.

And the ones who were currently closing up shop consisted of the same ones who were waiting for their leader Taranna Deveraux (who turned out to be Arianna's cousin and cisgender ally) to arrive as they saw the last of the human workers off.

"I made sure that the former Alphas turned Omegas were settled into their new homes while Chance and Chace would be the ones to give them the rules," Anita commented. "Arianna was more than giddy to bind them to Druscilla's rules and plans with her magic."

"She ought to be, given that she warned them of the consequences if they rejected that Lemieux boy," Craven noted as he grabbed a seat at one of the corner booths. "Too bad that they didn't listen to her, and now...well, it is what it is."

"I heard that Moranox- er, St. Martin- wanted to stand by Theirry in the past," Honey replied as she sat next to Craven's right while Snow took the left. "If only he'd persuaded his partner hard enough and stood his ground."

"You live and learn," Ebony said crisply as she saw her boss and coven leader Taranna walk in the room dressed in her Lauren Bacall persona with her Dior ensemble immaculate as always. "Boss, the floor's all yours,"

Taranna Mariah Deveraux nodded as she took off her jacket and hat before heading to the center of the dining area. "Queens and kings, you already know of the arrival of Lachlan St. Martin and Marithe Deinos, formerly known as their respective names Luciane Moranox and Matthieux Rosseaux-Yanez and them being made into Omegas as well as paired to their new mates Chance and Chace Nguyen, the twin Alpha mermen and leaders of the Gold Fin coven," she said. To Anita, "I understand that you were the one to take them to their new home."

Anita nodded twice. "I was around the beach area when I saw them appear in their new forms," she replied. "I will deny it if y'all tell them this, but they're not that bad with their twink-like selves. They'll be perfect for the twins in the bedroom."

That earned her some smiles and chuckles just as Arianna Vivacious came in dressed in her elegant Chanel ensemble with Thierry Lemieux (dressed in a simple Brooks Brothers ensemble) and his fiance Lyle Arohnson (the hellhound in an all-black Bill Blass suit) following behind her. "Cousin," Arianna cooed as her witch coven- Velvet Cremme, Sagittarina, Summeryme Salade, and Aquilla- came into the diner and greeted everyone. "You all know Thierry and Lyle, the newly-engaged duo."

"But of course," cheered Anita as she blew Thierry a kiss. To the Omega Moon Wolf, "You and your Alpha hellhound fiance look amazing."

"Thank you," Thierry said humbly. "And so do you and the others. This is a nice setup you all have. Reminds me of the nightclub and cafe back in Sammons Falls."

"We aim to please," Craven commented. "So, what brings you by?"

"Well, we all learned that our disgraced Alphas are now Omegas and settled with their mates," Velvet (the plump and sassy spark) replied in her honeyed drawl. "Not only that, they're now bound to the Moon Goddess' plans for their redemption."

"This is going to give those two the big wake-up call of their lives," Electrique (transgender mage) said after greeting the Malanoa transmale twins. "I had high hopes for them when they were Alphas and had Thierry in their grasp. But after what they did, it's probably for the best that Lyle has Thierry now."

"Damn right," Lyle (no longer the meek hellhound that Thierry first met at his farewell/graduation party) agreed, wrapping Thierry in his arms. "I won't be making the same mistake. And neither will the Nguyen twins."

"That's because we merfolk are very possessive and candid about our promises," Daniel noted. "Same for the selkies, Gorgons, and even some water feys. We never break a promise because that would spell anarchy."

"Amen to that," Arianna hummed. "But there's something that needs to be addressed regarding the four mates."

That caught her cousin's attention. "What is it?"

Thierry stepped forward, breaking away from his fiance's hug. "Arianna and I believe that a she-wolf is not going to be fully on-board with Marithe and Lachlan being mated to Chance and Chace," he explained. his face now serious. "And she's going to do all she can to break them up by ridding my former mates and seducing the Alpha mermen."

"Shit," Craven hissed furiously. "I had a vague vision last night about that, but I thought it was-"

"As did I, henny, but I'm afraid that this she-wolf, who's slated to be mated to a vampire from Charleston, wants the twins all for herself and wants ALL Omegas out of existence," Velvet noted. "If she has her way, she'll declare war on the Gold Fin pack just to complete her mission."

"Isn't planning an Omega genocide against the will of Druscilla?" Honey asked.

"Yep," Snow replied. "And as we should know regarding what happened with Thierry back in Sammons Falls, this is going to end as quickly as possible."

"Exactly, but not without some challenges," Thierry replied. "Which is why Arianna and I want her coven and this coven to band together and be allies with Marithe and Lachlan even as they undergo their road to redemption. And you guys should know that all of Covington Springs- humans and the supernatural- will be ready to give them the rude awakening to end all the rest."

Everyone hummed in agreement at that statement.

"That does make sense, but how will we know who the she-wolf who's planning to cause drama is?" Taranna asked.

Arianna smiled slyly. "Trust me, you'll know by the way she presents herself," she replied. "Think of the late Gruesome Threesome, but as one young woman with three times the personality as those three. She'll give off a nasty vibe that will repel all available Alphas and have them coming out as gay or finding their mates on the spot which will piss her off to no end."

"Right," everyone chorused as talks of plans for Marithe and Lachlan's road to redemption were underway. Gentle reader, it can be amazing how two covens can come together to help out two Omegas who are unaware of the challenges that would come. But as they say, nothing ever some easy for those who do not help themselves.

Anyway, chapter seven is going to be full of sexy and steamy goodness  as Lachlan feels...well, read on and see what happens. Fair warning, though.
