Often people see things differently;

Our kind is never the same.

Yet no one has the ability

To read minds or people.

Your mind does not and cannot read people.

You yourself must do that.

When your heart speaks,

It is your duty to listen.

For your heart seeks out the truth.

To find one whom you were bred to be with,

The key is to look.

And listen.

And advise.

My eyes, filled with felicity,

Yours, filled with wonderment.

Rapt and amazed, you begin to see.

This world is a cruel place

Full of misery and sorrow

But also filled with wonderful people,

Wonderful opportunities

And wonderful things.

While you take everything in in a gulp,

I sip.

For this world has many things to offer,

Yet many things to take away.

While I will not hide from the world,

While there are many things to see and do,

My real simplicity is here with you.
