True bravery is often overlooked,

Sometimes even mistaken

For cowardice and selfishness.

Only those who've been where they've been,

Will immediately recognize courage

In it's oddest forms.

When she swallowed those pills,

She was considered a coward

And selfish.

But she was brave.

She was brave because

She dealt with extreme pain every day

And still managed to smile.

She was brave because

She faced everything alone.

She was brave because

She stayed strong,

Even though she felt like dying.

Suicide isn't cowardly.

Suicide isn't selfish.

It takes a hell of a lot of pain

To swallow those pills.

Staying strong is one of the hardest things to do.

She was brave.
