What we see,

Is not the the real truth.

How can we know the real truth

Unless people tell us?

We never take notice of things,

Unless they are pointed out.

Why does she wear so many bracelets

All of the time?

Why does she have so many Band-Aids on?

Why does she wear long sleeves so much?

Unless we observe,

Observe our peers and our friends

And our classmates.

If we observe,

We might actually learn something.

Secrets are meant to be secrets,

But not all can be kept.

Some are simply too big;

Others too small.

But nothing changes the fact

That secrets will be secrets,

Unless exposed.

But it is for you to decide,

For better or for worse?
