Most think they are due to receive,

But is that true?

Must one be forced to explain

If one does not wish to?

Tis polite,

But who says polite is right?

Some people have reasons not to explain.

Too tired.

Too worn-down.

Too sad.

Too busy.

Such are regarded as excuses,

But are they really?

Such might be tired and true reasons.

Then there is the problem

Of the fact that some simply cannot explain.

Some matters are extraordinarily complicated,

It is better not to delve.

But human nature drives for answers;

Curiosity overpowers common sense.

They see more than they meant to,

More than they wanted to.

And they are confused.

And when we are confused,

What do we do?

We demand an explanation.

But it is for you to decide,

Are explanations really necessary now?
