Kavya's POV

As soon as I reached home I freshened up, changed my clothes and cleaned the scratches of my hand and applied bandage.

Thank god Raj is not hurt anywhere.

Speaking of Raj, I have never seen his parents coming to pick him up.

He joined the school few months back and in these few months I never saw his parents.

Anyways, I decided to do yoga as usual.

I was taking my mat when I suddenly looked at my body in the mirror.

As Mala aunty said, have I really put on weight?

Yes, she is right, I have put on a weight.

I do yoga everyday, still I don't know how I am putting up weight.

Is she right?

After Soham left, did I stop taking care of my own body?

But even when he was alive, I never took much care of my body as he never paid attention to all these and always said to me "you look beautiful as you are."

I smiled remembering his words.

I looked at the sindoor on my forehead and mangalsutra around my neck.

I wear it because I feel that he is with me when I wear it.

"I love when you wear these."

I remembered his words and a smile came onto my lips.

Anyways, I should get back to do my yoga.

After doing yoga for forty five minutes, I prepared roti and baingan curry and decided to watch some drama on mobile till sleep consumes me.

I try to stay in the hall as much as I can because as soon I go in bedroom I remember Soham.

It has been three years but still I am not able to forget the days spend with him.

After watching a drama for two hours I went in the bedroom, I laid on the bed and as always I looked at his side and I remember him pulling me in my arms while sleeping.

I miss you Soham.

I miss you everyday.

I tried to close my eyes but sleep was not coming.

I decided to continue the drama till sleep comes to me but I know if I watch something now, I will again be late tomorrow.

I chuckled when I remembered what Aashika said to me.

I should sleep early as I have no one but nobody knows how sleeping alone feels after you have got used to sleeping in someone's arms.

I decided to watch something rather than thinking about all these things.

"Bye. I have to go to the hospital as my mom in-law got ill. I am telling you, you are lucky," Nita said and I give her a small smile.

I hear this almost everyday but still it hurt the same.

I know, they say it casually but still it hurts.

"But I feel really bad for you. At such a young age she became widow and have to live all alone," Aashika said to Nita as she came and stood beside Nita.

"I know. My heart breaks everyday for her but what we can do. It's her destiny," Nita said and I could feel the pity in their voice.

Either it's people feeling pity for me or they feel that I am lucky to stay alone without anyone.

"Bye guys. Nita, I thought you are late," I said and she once again bid me goodbye and left with Aashika.

Their students left but few of my students had not left as their parents have not arrived.

Raj came towards me and stood in front of me.

"Do you want to say something?" I asked him.

"I am sorry, madam," he said as his eyes went towards my bandage making me smile.

"It's okay, Raj. By the way where is your driver uncle?" I asked.

"Today my brother will come to pick me up," he said excitedly making me smile.

Brother.

Then he must be eighteen to twenty years old as Raj is ten years old.

If he is coming to pick Raj up, he must be at least of legal age.

Why am I guessing random things?

One of my student's guardian arrived and started asking about her progress breaking me out of my thoughts.

In ten minutes everyone left except Raj.

I looked at the time and it was already 3.10 p.m.

"Maybe he is busy because of his work," Raj told me, sadly.

"Bhaiya," he shouted and ran towards a man who was coming towards me.

Man?

What?

He is of course not in his twenties.

He gave Raj a smile and took his bag in his hands and was walking towards me.

He came and stood in front of me.

I looked up at him.

He is wearing a black suit with a blue tie.

He is definitely not a boy.

He looked at me and I noticed his eyes lingered on my mangalsutra and sindoor for more than few seconds.

"Good afternoon," I greeted him and he jerked his head as if coming out of a thought.

"Good afternoon," he said and looked around.

"Sorry, I am late," he said as he noticed that school is almost empty.

"It's okay," I said and followed my statement with a smile.

"Thank you for saving my brother," he said as his eyes went on my bandage.

"It's okay," I said and smiled.

"I am glad nothing happened to him," I said as I looked at Raj.

"If something happened to him, I would have killed Suraj," he said angrily as I saw him clenching his fist.

"Bhaiya, you said you will not hurt driver uncle," Raj said and he looked at Raj.

"Let's go," he said to Raj.

"Bye madam," Raj said and that man once again looked at me.

"Thank you once again," he said and they left.

After they left I went to the washroom, did my deed and was walking outside the school.

"Goodbye madam," the guard greeted me.

"Goodbye sir," I said and he laughed.

"You are the only one who calls me sir. You are the only one gives the position of a sir to a mere security guard," he said and I smiled.

"I heard somewhere, we all are boss of our own life so that makes you a sir," I said and he once again laughed and bid me goodbye.

I walked outside to see Raj's brother holding the collar of his driver tightly and the driver is almost on the verge of tears.
