Subhadra POV

Just as me and Rajkumar Arjun finished playing the veena, we heard someone clapping insultively. I was not shocked to see Rakjumar Duryodhana doing that because Bhratashree Krishna had told me about his ill deeds. With him were Rajkumar Dushasan, Mamashree Shakuni and....Angaraj Karn!

I looked at Duryodhana who was looking at me with a lustful gaze which made me feel very uncomfortable, Mamashree Shakuni gave me an evil smile while Bhrata Dushasan just gave me a blank expression. I could not gain enough strength to look at Angraj Karn as I hadn't expected him to support Rajkumar Duryodhana

"Amazing, anuj! You play the veena very well" Rajkumar Duryodhana said throwing him a necklace. I could feel Rajkumar Arjun's anger rise. 

"Mitr, do you also learn how to play the veena?" Duryodhana said to Bhrata Karn

"If someone else would ask me this, I would have taken it as an insult" Karn said "To a true archer, the sound of his bow is real music"

I couldn't bear to hear such words bear to hear such words from Angraj Karn. I finally looked at him and gave him a 'I didn't expect this from you' look to which he returned a helpess  'Sorry but Arjun is my rival' look.

Then I remembered how Duryodhana had helped Karn in the Kala Pradarshan and therefore he couldn't say something against Duryodhana. 

"Alas, he can do anything for the entertainment of the maidens, can't he? He might even start dancing" Duryodhana said  while looking at me and laughing

I saw Angraj Karn clenching his fists in anger listening to my insult but I nodded my head to say I didn't mind. But Rajkumar Arjun couldn't take it anymore. He pulled out his dagger and walked towards Duryodhana when Angaraj Karn came in the middle.

"You'll have to pass through me, Rajkumar before going towards my friend" Karn said

"It won't take me a minute to defeat you. In the Kalapradarshan we couldn't harm the opponent and the sun set otherwise I would havekilled you with my divine weapons. Who would have protected you, Suthputr?" Rajkumar Arjun said

And just then I had a flashback remembering a promise I had made

Flashback (not in Subhadra's POV)

Dushala and Subhadra were sneaking out of the palace. Dushala didn't want to but Subhadra had forced her with her cute antics and Dushala and couldn't say. They finally arrived where they wanted to - out of the palace near a lake

Subhadra pulled Dushala into the lake with her.

"Subhu, remember that you are no more a kid now and this is not Kanyakul"  Dushala said fidgeting with the maid's attire she had worn to sneak out

"Who cares Dushu?" Subhadra said and started splashing water "Oh, I remember, your marriage is close now so you are trying to become mature!" 

"Subhu....."Dushala said trying to hide her blush

"Aha, so my sakhi who always teases me is blushing" Subhadra said mischievously

Just then some men came there looking lustfully at Subhadra and Dushala

"That one is mine" a man said pointing at Subhadra

"And that one is mine" The other man said pointing at Dushala

"After you, I can use that one" another man said

"And then me!" another man added

"Excuse me, but we are not objects that belong to you or you can use. " Subhadra said disgusted by the men's behavior

"If we reveal our identity, you will regret behaving in this manner to us" Dushala said

"Oho! Like you a princess or something." one man said while rolling his eyes

"Well, you do possess the beauty of princesses but look at your clothes and princesses come with guards and securities, not alone" the other man smirked

Dushala and Subhadra looked at each other. Subhadra silently asked Dushala whether they should reveal their identity through her eyes but Dushala pleadingly shook her head

"Just come with us, we promise we will satisfy you if you entertain us" the man said dreamily

This was enough for both Subhadra and Dushala and they pulled out their respective swords and put it on the neck of the 2 men.

"No use of pretending to be brave. We know how much you want to enjoy our company and impress us by pretending to be brave" one said lustfully from behind

Subhadra's anger reached her peak, she swung her sword and cut that person's neck. The other 3 men were shocked to core. Then Subhadra and Dushala started fighting the two men with their swords while one ran away.

The men felt like goddesses in disguise were fighting with them. They were sure that if they fought one more minute with these mysterious women they would die, for sure. Then the man who had run away suddenly appeared and was about to pierce his sword into Subhadra's back when an arrow appeared and cut his sword into half.......

Who was this mysterious person who saved Subhadra's life?
