3- Diamond in the Rough
You were currently washing the dishes as Blossom was painting the night sky. "(Y/n)?" Blossom said as she turned to your back. "Yes?" You said as you turned your head slightly, showing that she had you attention. "Why do people hate werewolves and vampires?" Blossom asked.
You took a deep breath before drying your hands. "People, mortals, are afraid of differences. They try to kill the ones who are different, resulting to a never ending pile of blood." You answered as you turned to face Blossom fully. "Is that why I never met mother or father?" Blossom asked sadly.
You sadly nodded before Blossom perked. "B-But Dr. Lify is very nice to us! Doesn't that mean that pile of blood could be cleaned?" Blossom said with hope in her eyes. "Matters how you look at it. You could see it as a chance for change but..." You paused.
"I see it as she doesn't know we're different. Dr. Lify doesn't know I'm a werewolf and I'd like to keep it that way. If she finds out..." Blossom say your wolf ears popped to appearance before they perled down.
Blossom stood up and hugged you before you fell to your knees and buried your face into the crock of your younger sister's neck. "I-If I-I die n-n-nobody will t-t-take care..." You whimpered as Blossom rubbed your back. "It's ok (y/n). I'm not going to lose you and you're not going to lose me!" Blossom stated.
You nodded, like an upset little child, before shifting into a wolf. Blossom carried you to your bed of furs before leaving. You looked at your mother's diamond necklace before sighing.
"I wonder if mother was ever a diamond in the rough..."
