The light of the ship invited me in, I temporarily forgot how to use my legs. Somehow I managed to get myself in there only to be greeted my charoite guard.
"So you're the azurite chosen, listen I'm here to protect you so don't screw anything up, they said I would be shattered if you were."
"I don't even get why I need you, I'm capable of protecting myself and if I do get in trouble I can teleport, you can't."
She moved towards we and grasped my throat and lifted me up a few inches off the ground.
"Listen, I was made to fight and shatter gems, there are a fewer amount of me's out there, you however are expendable, you're just a mere scout who shouldn't even be needed because we have sapphires that'll tell us what we need to know, but here we are and if you stay out of my way I might consider preventing your downfall, got it?" She snarled at me.
I blinked away my tears and nodded, she continued to put me down. I dusted myself off and shot a glare up at her and walked away passing a few quartz soldiers as I made my way to my headquarters.
