“Mom, please try and explain some of this madness to me.”

“I’m so sorry baby, I tried to keep you safe from all this I really did. But he could always seem to find us. Did Brody tell you of the legends? Well the one fighting Brody, well Kurock is his brother. He was in line for the Alpha position but his heart was crawl and evil. All he wanted was power and their father would never hand over his pack to someone like that. So he handed the title down to Kurock, who had always been so kind. Obviously Borack was furious as this and attacked and killed his father. That’s when he was banished from the pack. A little over a decade later he pronounced war on Kurock, in that time he had built up a huge army. Mostly of rouges and those who also seeked power. That is when the battle broke out, and when Kurock when crazy and killed everyone, including his brother. This is when he went to the witch to set things right, and the curse was set on them. It is said that a woman of great power will set them all free, and baby unfortunately that woman is you. No one knows what this great power is, but Borack wants it. You are also the host of Kurock’s one true mate, people always thought it was only Alpha’s who have the wolves spirits in them, but Kurock’s mate is also a spirit, in you. Once you transform she will be freed, and so will your power. You are every werewolves hope. Your our hero.

“…Wow…..when will I transform?”

“Soon”

I left my mother at those words trying to take everything in. How could this be happening to me? Not too long ago I was a normal teenage human girl. Now I have the hopes of all werewolves in my hands, no pressure! That’s when the pain came.

Alexis’s P.O.V

The pain was excruciating.  I’ve never felt anything like it. My whole body felt as if it was being crushed, it felt like my skin was being slowly clawed off.  It felt as if something was trying to claw its way from the inside.  I couldn’t focus on anything but the pain.

Kurocks P.O.V

My brother and I were fighting with our all. We both knew that this fight will decide our fate. We were both pretty equal, yes he had more strength but I had more intelligence.  Suddenly I caught something out of the corner of my eye. Alexis….well she had started to…glow. It was amazing, everything around us stopped, all attention on her. She started to shine, brighter and brighter.

Alexis’s P.O.V

The pain had subsided but that was not the worst of my problems, when did normal people glow? I all the pressure released at once in the form of an explosion, making everyone fly backwards. I felt very powerful, and I mean unstoppable.

That’s because we are.

What the hell.

Don’t be afraid, my name is aeries. I am your wolf.

Wolf…as in big, fury, has four legs that kind of wolf.

Yes, you are now a were and I am you inner wolf. I’ve always been hidden inside you ready to come out.

And you are mates to Kurock.

Yes, and ever since he killed me, he has been eating himself up inside, he needs to know that I don’t blame him. It wasn’t his fault, it was mine. I was foolish enough to attack an Alpha, especially from behind.

Well I blame his brother.

Now listen to me carefully. Inside you now is a very powerful power but you must not let it consume you. If you do you will surely die. You need to learn to control it. Also the power will not break the curse. That is an entire different power.

So the witch gave me two powers?

No, one has always been with you. This power you possess now is what the witch has given. But not just anyone can have this power, if they do not have the other, they can never control it.

Okay then. Let’s get this show on the road.

I stood watching everyone very carefully. They all seemed, frightened of me. I turned to check my mother. She too had fear in her eyes.

“Mum, what’s wrong?”

“Your eyes, they’re…pure black.”

Don’t worry, it’s just the power. Now focus on the task at hand.

How will I know how to use it?

You will know when you need to.

I looked over at Kurock and Borack, they were both just staring at me. Except Borack had a smirk on his face, suddenly he launched himself at Kurock, I quickly raised my arm and spread my hand out wide.

“NO!”

Suddenly before he could touch him he was lifted into the air. Surprised I quickly took my arm back and he instantly fell down hard on the floor.

“YOU LITTLE BITCH”

He charged right at me, and that’s when I remember that Brody gave me something I once hated, which now will be useful. I searched in side myself, and released the shield that I had hidden away. Borack was going so fast he smacked into the protective shield and was launched off into the wall. It took him a lot longer to get up this time. And yet he still had that smirk on his face.

“You don’t want to push me Alexis”

He nodded to someone behind me, as I turned around I saw that he had one of his men put a knife to my mother’s neck.  I was furious, all I saw was a red mist.

“Get your filthy hands of my mother.”

I couldn’t control my anger. I felt like snapping his neck for being that close to her. And suddenly that’s what happened. He fell down to the floor, dead. Now this is a useful power.

ALEXIS, CONTROL IT. DON’T LET THE POWER CONSUME YOU!

Oh it’s not consuming me. I’m just beginning to learn how to use it, and I like it.

“So, scum. Any more tactics you want to use before I kill you.”

He looked terrified. The baby, it looks like he’s about to piss himself with fright.

“Let’s make a deal, why don’t you join me, I can make you powerful, more powerful than you can ever imagine.”

“What’s my part of the deal?”

“Become my Luna, with you by my side no one could beat us.”

“Oh and why would I need little old you to be powerful?”

“Your young, inexperienced. Your need me to lead the way”

Alexis don’t listen to him. It’s a trick! It’s the power making you hungry for power. This isn’t you!

Oh shut up wolf!

“You make a good deal seeing as it’s to save your sorry hide.”

“Alexis, what are you doing?”

“Shut it you old hag! And you call yourself my mother!”

I looked into my mother’s eyes and saw the shock on her face. Ha, serves her right the bitch. I should just do away with her to; she’s no use to me now.

Brody’s P.O.V

What is wrong with her, this is not the Alexis I know.  She sounds so evil. Kurock why are you just standing there, go do something! Or have you forgotten that your mates in there too!

Your right. But she hates me, she’ll kill me for sure.

And I wonder why that is?! You just had to be so cruel to her!

Could you blame me? She ran away! Now listen, I have a plan. You need to come out.

What?

She loves you; you will make her see what’s right.

Alexis’s P.O.V

All that power and all I have to do is be with, this. I could take what I want and then dispose of him. I searched the room and noticed that Kurock was coming towards me. Except it was Kurock, but Brody.

“Listen Alexis, I don’t know what’s wrong but this isn’t like you, you are not this power hungry, you would never consider his offer and you wouldn’t hurt a fly let alone snap someone’s neck without a second thought!”

“You hardly know me Brody. I mean you have no right to say how I am. You barge in and take over my life, with me not even having a say in it! Now if you want to live I suggest you go back to where you were.”

I couldn’t believe him! Just as I thought he was going back he grabbed hold of my face and connected his lips with mine. Suddenly all my feeling for him came back, I came back. The power truly had consumed me. He broke the kiss and stared deep into my eyes.

“They’re not black anymore; does this mean your back?”

I couldn’t help the tears build up as I nodded.

“OH HOW LOVELY, the wonderful couple back together again!”

Brody grasped my hand in his.

Good, now finish him.

Aeries, I can’t. I don’t have the nerve to kill someone.

Then he will take your power.

I thought you said that unless you had my power it would destroy you?

Exactly.

I could hear the amusement in her voice.  Now I understood. I had to give him my power.

“Alright then Borack, I’ll give you my power, if you can guarantee that me, my family and my friends are all safe.”

“Sure.”

I started to walk over to him when Brody pulled on my hand, staring at me. I gave his hand a squeeze and winked at him. I carried on over to Borack, he stood there with a smug look on his face like he had won. Oh what he’s in for.

He grabbed my hands and started to chant, slowly we both rose from the ground and then we started to glow.

“Just keep repeating, I give you my power.”

I followed his instructions and suddenly my light began to dim, and his began to get brighter. We slowly floated back on the ground.  I looked at him and saw that his eyes were completely black.

“You fool, you really think I’d let you live, such a pity.”

Just as he was about to raise his hand he stopped and a look of confusion and fear came across his face. He started to scream and clutch his head.  And he started to glow, the walls of the house started to shake. You could hear dogs barking from everywhere. Brody suddenly grabbed me and pulled me out of the house.  I could see Tom outside.

“TOM, MUMS STILL IN THERE!”

Tom rushed into the house, I clutched to Brody with all my strength. All you could hear was Borack screaming in pain. The power was way too much for him, so how come I could handle it? Suddenly there came a huge explosion. All the windows of the house smashed instantly. I couldn’t see Tom or my mum anywhere. No. They wouldn’t have still been In the house surely.

“Brody, Tom and mum came out right.”

He just shook his head. He’s lying.

“Why would you lie? They came out! Of course they came out, I mean its Tom. He would have been out of there in two seconds flat!”

“Alexis babe.”

“TOM! MUM!”

I couldn’t help the tears that came, my family, gone.

“Hey, what’s all the crying about? I thought we won?”

As I turned round I saw Tom with my wounded mother leaning against his side. Him supporting her.

“I…I…I thought you were…”

I rushed and hugged them before I finished my sentence. Everything is back to normal.

Not exactly.

Explain?

If we don’t break this curse soon, Borack will come back, and this time you won’t be there to stop him.

:O so I know I haven’t updated in like forever! And I’m really sorry but lots of things have gone on. Im not that proud of this chapter, I don’t think it’s very good tbh but what do you guys think? I love you guys so much, thankyou for supporting me even though im horrible and don’t update for months but I promis to try and improve.
