Later in the Day

I sat on the couch taking in the picture of my unborn child, Nikki's words running through my mind she was right she gave me one chance to gain back her trust and I blew it all because I wanted revenge on Hunter and now I have probably blown any chance of us ever getting close again.

"Roman"

My thoughts were soon stopped when I heard my name being shouted Brie walked in to the room a look of stress on her face

"I take it Nikki as told you what as happened? that's why your here"

"No, why what happened? wasn't it here two month scan today?"

"Yeah and I missed it.. I told her I was going to be there and now she hates me"

"Was that last time you seen her?"

"Yeah why? as something happened?"

"She didn't come home I've tried calling her, she isn't at our mom's or Renee's I don't know where she is what if something as happened to her"

"Ok Brie calm down, look this is Nikki we are talking about its 2.30 in the afternoon she is most likely shopping and she doesn't want to be disturbed"

"Yeah your probably right, I know she loves you Roman but you have got to change your ways"

"I know and I am on my to doing so, look give her a couple of hours if she isn't back I'll go looking for her ok?"

She just nodded giving me a small smile 

"I'll see you later Roman"

Soon as the front door shut behind Brie panic came over me Hunter said he would hurt anyone I love what if he's got Nikki, I grabbed my phone pressing on her number I let ring before hanging up and trying again and about 10 more times after that.

A hour had passed and still no phone call of her now I am starting to worry, I picked up my phone and before I could ring out it started ringing Nikki's number coming up on the screen

"Nikki"

"Sorry but Nikki is a little tied up at the moment"

My blood soon started to run hot when I heard his voice

"What have you done to her?"

"Roman what do you take me for? do you really think I would lay my hands on a pregnant women?"

"What do you want Hunter?"

"I want the money that your father stole off my father, I will give you until 9pm to show up with the cash or my men will start to hurt that pretty little girlfriend of yours now they don't care if she's pregnant"

Before I could respond the line went dead

"Shit...I need help"

I needed back up and the two men I needed probably hate my guts right after what I did to them but its worth a shot.
