(Nikki POV)

I sat in reception waiting to be called I was two months pregnant this will be the first time I would be seeing my unborn child since I found out just over a week ago the only problem is Roman isn't here he said he would be, I pulled my phone out of my purse pressing on his name it rang a couple of times before going to voicemail I just hung up 

Nurse - Nicole do you want to come through

I laid on the bed staring at the door hoping he would walk through 

Nurse - So Nicole your first baby you must be excited?

N- I am a bit nervous as well though thinking am going to be a good mother or have no clue on what I am doing

Nurse - Don't worry a lot of first time mothers are like that but once you hold that little person in your arms for the first time all the nerves go away you'll be fine, so where is the father at today

N - He got stuck at work he will be here for the next scan though 

Nurses- No worries, can you just roll up your top for me Nicole?

I rolled up my shirt exposing my belly, why am I lying for him I must be stupid, I soon felt the coolness of the gel against my skin next thing I heard a thumping noise I looked at the screen 

N - That's my baby

Nurse - That's your baby, would you like a copy of the ultrasound?

N - Can I have two copies please?

Nurse - Of course

After cleaning myself up the nurse gave me the copies of my ultrasound, I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the room, after making another appointment for my 3 months scan I walked outside just as I did guess who decides to pull up 

Roman - Nik I am so sorry

Nikki - You know what Roman just save it I don't want to hear your excuses 

Roman - I got caught up in something it slipped my mind

Nikki - Seeing your baby for the first time slipped your mind 

Roman - It didn't mean to sound like that, Nikki please just listen you -

Nikki - No Roman you listen to me you said that you wanted me to trust you again this was your first step to doing that and you blew it 

Roman - Nikki you don't understand 

Nikki - I probably don't but whatever you got caught up in must of been more important 

I took one of the copies of the ultrasound out of my purse placing it against his chest 

Nikki - Picture of your baby if your interested

I walked away letting a few tears slip down my face getting in my car and driving off 

I pulled up in to the driveway of Brie and Seth's the place I am still staying at, I unlocked the door 

N - Brie, Seth you guys home?

No answer so I have the house to myself, I placed my purse on the stairs and my keys on the table I was about to remove my jacket when I felt something hitting on the back of my head then it just went black.
