This feels weird as my fist connected with the front door I use to call this place home, I waited for someone to answer with much convincing from Brie and my mom I decided to tell Roman about the baby as much as he as hurt me and lied to me the past few months doesn't give me the right to keep this from him, the door opened Roman standing there in a suit like he was going on a date I didn't question him

R- Nikki

A bit of a shocked tone when he said my name

N-Hi 

R- What are you doing here?

N- I need to talk to you can I come in?

R- Yeah sure

He opened the door and stepped allowing me to walk in, I was expecting beer cans and pizza boxes scattered everywhere but it was to my surprise squeaky clean I placed my purse on the kitchen counter letting out a shaky preparing to tell him

R- Everything ok Nik?

N- I actually need to tell you something?

R- What's going on Nicole?, is something wrong?

N- I'm just going to come out and say it

R-Say what Nik? what's going on 

N- Roman I'm pregnant 

R- Your pregnant ?

N- Yeah, I know this is a bit of a shock to you but I just thought you should know, but I understand if your not ready 

R- Of course I'm ready this could put me and you back on track

N- Roman, not right now its going to take time its not that I don't love you I do but after the way you have been the past few months its going to take a while for me to trust you again but I' m not going to stop from being apart of this baby's life our baby's life I want you there every step of the way 

R- I completely understand but you know I will do what ever it takes for you to trust me again, and I would love nothing more than to be there every step of the way 

N-Ok well my first scan is on Tuesday at 2pm if you can make it 

R- Of course I can

N- I'll meet you there 

I hesitated but went in for hug wrapping my arms tightly around his neck taking in the scent of his cologne, feeling his arms around my back feeling his face pressed against my neck I didn't want to pull away but we couldn't stand here forever we both pulled away giving each other a small smile 

N- I'll see you later then

R- Yeah see you later

I walked out of the house letting him close the door behind me I leant back against the door tears stinging the corners of my eyes but I held them back I placed my hand against the door before walking away I just want to trust him again
