The stewardess came back precisely half a minute later with a box of Kleenex.

She apologized repeatedly as she pressed tissues after tissues on my lap, hoping that it will soak in all the drink. After minutes of trying, she finally gave up. The dark yellow stain was clearly visible on my clothing still. I thanked her then shot a deadly glare at the laughing boy.

"Your laugh is waking people up." I told him.

"No one is sleeping," the boy stated. He was right. Everyone was wide awake, either watching the small television or crunching on a packet of peanuts.

I crossed my arms defensively by the lack of a good comeback. Pausing for mere seconds, I replied. "Your obnoxiously loud laugh is killing my brain cells."

"Are you sure it's not because of my sexiness?" he winked.

I rolled my eyes and let out a sarcastic laugh. It was definitely not due to his sexiness. No, definitely not. "You wish."

The boy smirked in response.

After minutes of awkward silence, the food arrived. A different flight attendant handed me my plate of steamy breakfast. I ordered vegetarian, since I always thought that meat on aeroplanes tastes funny. Underneath the aluminium foils revealed a marvellously cooked omelette paired with mashed potatoes. It smelt heavenly.

I picked up the tiny bread that came with the rest of the food and took a small bite out of it. The warm goodness filled my mouth as I chewed ungracefully. Since I love my food all equally, I then stuffed myself a spoonful of omelettes.

"Graceful," the boy commented.

"Shut up." Giving him a light slap across the arm, I took a sip of coffee. It didn't take me long to finish off everything. If eating was a subject, I could surely ace it.

"Ow!" he rubbed his arm, "That hurts!"

"Eh," I shrugged. "You deserved it."

He scuffed and turned back eating. With nothing better to do, I continued watching the movie that I have not yet finished. Young Harry was so handsome, it was such a shame he wasn't as cute now. I spent another half an hour on the movie when a woman took my dirty plates away.

The lights dimmed. I had to admit, it was slightly scary watch Harry fight in the dark. I found myself curled up into a ball, with my hands wrapped around my legs, and a blanket over it. When the rocks exploded, I jumped so high my head almost touched the ceiling.

Deciding it was a better idea to watch a cute, smile-worthy cliché, I went through the children's channel. I had to choose between Barbie in A Mermaid Tale and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It was a hard choice, but I settled for the latter.

I watched as the hunter brings Snow White out alone in the forest to kill her, but he couldn't. Her beauty amazed him, and the hunter just couldn't bring out his knife. It was funny how I was watching this.

When I was seven, I wanted to be a princess. I wanted to become just like Snow White. She was smart, brave, and beautiful. The ability to talk to animals was just a bonus. I sat underneath an apple tree all day, hoping that my prince charming would find me, sweep me up in his arms, and we'd ride on his white horse along the coastline, beside the sunset.

Then, just like any other fairy tales, we would live happily ever after.

He did find me one day.

His name was Cole Reece.

Cole and I soon became inseparable. We wouldn't go anywhere without each other. I would show him my doll collections and he'd show me his cars. He lived few blocks away, which made everything easier. I would go over to his and we would pretend that we were secret agents and my brother, Blake, was our enemy. I would hold a flashlight while he would have balloon swords. Standing back to back, we were undefeatable.

Our feelings for each other changed over time. On my fifteenth birthday, Cole came over with a bouquet of red roses in his arms. He went on his knees and asked me to be his girlfriend. Overjoyed, I said yes.

We were the best friends turned couple that everyone was jealous of and adored. Cole and I would still banter and joke around like before, but we had our romantic moments. We dated for almost two years, exchanging endless 'I love yous' and kisses. As overly attracted as it sounds, I had already started planning out our wedding and went through all the possible names for our future kids.

I thought we could last forever, but I was wrong.

"Stupid tears," I murmured silently as I wiped away the never-stopping tears with my hands, hoping that my mascara wouldn't smudge. Snow White was singing merrily as she washes the dwarfs' tiny clothes. Birds flew around her, adding their soft tunes. "This is supposed to be a happy scene."

Just as I thought I was about to burst into a dramatic breakdown, the seat belts light lit up. The plane started shaking violently. I buckled up my seat belts and held on tightly to the sidebars. It was moving so fiercely, if I didn't hold on tight enough, I would fall.

"We are now experiencing a case of turbulence; please don't leave your seats and put on your seat belts. Thank you."

"Oh my God," I screeched as the plane suddenly dropped a few feets. "I am going to die."

"I am going to die." I repeated. My eyes widened with shock as I blabbered out my last words. "Blake, I am so sorry for stealing your chocolate cake last week. In my defense, it was delicious. Mum, I swear I will remember to do the laundry if I survive this. Dad, I am sorry I used your shaver for my legs. I think I lost mine."

My head unintentionally turned towards the boy. A part of me wanted to see him freaked out; another part wanted him to tell me it'll be okay. Peoples' calm voices always soothe me. It was just weird like that. But in front of me was something that I was not expecting.

The boy was sleeping soundlessly.

I rolled my eyes at how calm he was. Like seriously, how can one ever fall asleep when the transportation one's riding on was about to crash?

He was just utterly ridiculous but I couldn't help but adore his sleeping figure. As annoying as the boy seemed, he looked so peaceful when he slept. His eyelashes fluttered as he breathes and his cheeks flushed light pink.

Is that natural? I wondered. Or is he dreaming something extremely inappropriate?

His calm visage made me forgot about the whole 'dying' incident. The aeroplane went still without me realising it. Taking a last look at the boy beside me that I will probably never see in the future, I drifted asleep.

We arrived at destination approximately five hours later. My butt was, no kidding, numb by the time I got off the plane. Sitting for eleven long hours will seriously flatten my (already not so full) bum. After going through a few gates and checkpoints, I followed the signs to claim my baggage.

A familiar plain black suitcase appeared on the rotating carousel. I rushed over to it and placed it onto the ground. Dragging my luggage towards the restroom, I kept my head low. My shirt still has a massive yellow stain on it, and it surely was attracting eyeballs.

In a corner outside of the restroom, where there wasn't many people, I unzipped the suitcase. My secretive actions made it look like I was doing something illegal. Opening it fully, I took out an over-sized black tee shirt with the words 'I Just Got Laid' printed on it in caps.

Wait, what?

I searched through the rest of the suitcase nervously. Multiple shirts (that smelled awful), some old jeans, a pairs of neon Nike, and a few pairs of boxers were sitting inside; Along with a few silver packets of... you-know-whats. I closed the lid and zipped it up in one quick motion and pretended that nothing happened.

I, for sure, took the wrong suitcase.

Stupid dirty thoughts.

Sighing in defeat of my own stupidity, I checked the outside of the luggage. It surely didn't have my name tag on it. It didn't have any.

I quickly stood up and ran back to the luggage carousel, praying that my suitcase was still there. During the month in LA, I had bought numerous clothing items and makeups that I couldn't just lose. It has cost me a fortune.

By the time I got back, the carousel was nearly vacant. A few unknown luggage were still circling, but there was no sign of my own. I groaned with frustration.

Now what should I do with these dirty clothes? Sell it on eBay?

The terminal was particularly empty now. A cleaner was sweeping beside the wall, which was located on the very end of the space. I stumbled down onto the floor, leaning onto the suitcase that looked exactly like mine.

"Hey, stranger!" a voice filled with energy called out. My head turned to the source of the voice and saw a boyish figure jogging towards me. To be exact, the boy who bruised my toe, sat next to me, stained my shirt, and the one with the ridiculous looking outfit was running towards my direction.

With a very, very familiar suitcase dragged behind him.

"I think that's mine." He said. My mouth fell open, suddenly feeling speechless. The boy scratched the back of his head awkwardly as we exchanged our almost identical suitcases. I wanted to thank him and slap him at the same time, but no words left came out. My arm accidentally bumped into the sign that was hanging loosely around his neck. The sign shifted, pulling the string along.

He choked, "You almost killed me."

"Oops." I gave him my best innocent smile. My gaze drifted up to his Disney hairband. "What's up with the outfit?"

"Just thought  I should wear something cute enough catch the eye of a beautiful girl who happens to be standing right in front of me," he smiled, but his eyes twinkled with entertainment.

I scuffed, "Seriously though."

"Eh." He shrugged, "Just a bet that I lost."

"A bet?"

"Long story short, it is physically impossible to drink three bottles of water within thirty seconds."

"Isn't that very obvious?"

"Anything is possible, stranger, you just gotta believe it." His ever-so-green eyes bore into mine. All of a sudden, I couldn't think anymore. But it wasn't because of his gorgeous and capturing stare that will drown any girl in, but because of what he said.

The words replayed in my mind. I've been so stupid and believed that anything is possible, but in reality, impossible things will never become possible. I understood that. He taught me so. Tears formed in my eyes but I quickly blinked them away.

I cursed myself for being so melodramatic lately.

"You alright?" a concerned voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Couldn't be better." I answered weakly.

Lowering my head, I found myself in a period of uncomfortable silence. He saw through my lie effortlessly, I knew that, but he didn't say anything. I wondered for a second what he thought of me now, but quickly dismissed any idea. The silence was killing me.

"That guy's an idiot." He concluded after what seemed like forever.

"What?"

I don't remember mentioning anything about Cole to him and I wasn't much of a supernatural believer. He couldn't possible read my mind, could he?

"The guy who obviously broke your heart." He cleared, "You are too good for him. Anyone can see that."

I wanted to argue with him for a second, saying that he's the one who's too good for me, but didn't.

I couldn't.

The boy took a step forward and pulled me into his embrace out of the blue. My mind couldn't comprehend with what was happening. Standing there both shocked and dazed, I looked like a complete idiot. Inhaling his fresh, salted scent, I wrapped my arms around him.

We were in an awkward position. My chest pressed weirdly against the board (it was just paper) and I buried my head in his shoulder. Standing there with our arms around each other, it felt like forever. And I wished that this little forever could last.

He didn't say anything, he didn't need to. I was already feeling a lot better (even though my parents would probably kill me for hugging a total stranger for such a long time). All the other thoughts were gone. For now, it was only me and the boy.

And even better, the hug was for free
