Chapter 6.

William looked around and saw that he was in Eric's hospital room. That was weird. He remembered that he went home. He saw his dad coming in the room and closing the door.

"What are you doing?!" He heard his mom yell from the other side of the door.

"Unless you let me have the kids, I will hurt them!" He heard his dad threaten.

"I've said it once and I'll say it again, they are mine!" William heard his mom yelling.

"Fine then! I'm gonna hurt them both. Starting with Billy!" His dad yelled as he grabbed him.

William woke up in a cold sweat on the couch, shaking like crazy and screaming. He saw his mother coming downstairs in her bathrobe and sitting down on the couch.

"Honey, are you alright?" Karly asked gently.

"I'm fine. I just had a nightmare." William explained.

"The doctors said that your pain medication may do that to you. It's just a side effect. What happened?" Karly asked.

"Nothing. Just something crazy. I'm fine." William reassured her.

"Ok. Come get me if you need to." Karly said as she kissed his forehead and started going upstairs.

"Wait mom?" William asked.

"What is it Billy?" Karly asked.

"I love you." William said.

"Love you too sweetheart." Karly smiled as she went upstairs.

William relaxed a bit and started thinking.

'Relax Billy. You just had a stupid nightmare because of your pain meds. Dad wouldn't do that. Even if he wants custody over you, he wouldn't hurt you for it. Just get some rest.' William thought to himself as he suddenly felt his knee start throbbing. He groaned, grabbed his crutches, walked over to the kitchen and grabbed his pain medication. After he took some, he went to the couch and went to sleep.

Next morning.

"Erin! Erin! Erin wake up!" William yelled up the stairs.

"Oh my gosh you are way too annoying for 7:30 a.m.. What do you want?" Erin demanded as she came to the top of the stairs in her pajamas, which had Elsa from Frozen on them.

"Where did you get those?" William asked innocently. Erin looked down at her pajamas and gasped.

"Oh my gosh! None of your bees wax William!" Erin yelled.

William knew that she only called him that when she got MAD.

"I was just asking if you could drive me to the hospital. I'd do it by myself, but my knee gets in the way." William joked as he pointed to his broken knee.

"Did you forget you have a doctor's appointment today?" Erin asked as she stood at the top of the stairs.

"Um. Yes I did." William admitted with a ashamed look on his face.

Erin laughed as she went into her bedroom to change. William sat down on the couch and waited for Erin to get down for breakfast. While he did, he heard a knock on the door. He grabbed his crutches, walked over to the door and saw Angela.

"Hi Angela. What's up?" William asked casually.

"Nothing much. I just came to check on you." Angela explained.

"Well, I'm about to leave for a doctor's appointment and I'm hoping that he replaces this stupid cast with a brace." William explained.

"Oh ok. I can leave if I have to." Angela explained.

"You can stay until I have to leave. I'm currently waiting on Erin to get down here." William explained as he and Angela went over to the couch.

After they sat down, William put his arm around her and smiled.

"I love you Billy." Angela whispered as traced her finger down his shirt.

"Love you more." William smiled as he put his face in her hair, making her laugh.

They heard someone clearing their throat. They both turned around to see Erin dressed, crossing her arms.

"Gross you two. That's just nasty." Erin said as she went into the kitchen.

"Sorry." William said as he raised his hands in mock surrender, making Angela laugh again.

"Shut it Billy." Erin said.

"Wow, we made her mad." William whispered.

"I gotta go. Bye baby." Angela said as she kissed his cheek.

"Bye." William smiled.

"Well, let's go." Erin said as she grabbed her purse.

-Time skip-

After the doctor's appointment, William was still in a cast, much to his displeasure.

"I hate this stupid cast!" He complained as he got in the car.

"I know you do. But your heard what the doctor said." Erin said.

"I know. Can we just go visit Eric now?" William asked.

"Sure." Erin smiled as she started the car.

After the short drive to the hospital, William got out.

"Hey, I gotta go. Mom will come pick you up later." Erin explained.

"Alright, see you Erin." William said as he went inside the building.

After he went to the elevator and into Eric's room, he saw that he was asleep. He sat down and pulled out his phone. After a few hours he heard a knock.

"Come in." William said aimlessly.

He saw Paris opening the door.

"Hey Paris. I haven't seen you or the boys since...you know." William explained, referring to his knee.

"I know. The boys went on vacation and before that they were busy and so was I." Paris explained

"Cool. Where did they go?" William asked.

"Bradley went to Boston for a big baseball game and Jake went back to Indiana to visit some relatives." Paris explained as she sat down beside him.

"Fun." William said.

"What were you planning to do when we were done with season 1. You know, before that happened?" Paris asked.

"I was gonna go to the Caribbean with Angela. Not gonna happen now." William sighed.

"I'm sorry. How's Eric doing?" Paris asked as she looked at the sleeping boy.

"He's been better. The doctor said that he can't be released until his stiches are cut." William said.

"Ok, I didn't know how to tell you, but I figured you needed to know." Paris said.

"Know what?" William asked.

"Ok, I like you, Billy. And I have liked you since I met you. I didn't know how I should say it or if I should. After all, you have Angela." Paris explained.

"Paris, I...I don't know what to say about that." William admitted.

"I'm such a idiot. I know. I shouldn't have said anything. See you around William." Paris said with a mix of anger and sadness in her voice as she left the room.

"Paris wait!" William yelled as he grabbed his crutches and started going after her, but then he tripped and landed on his knee.

William groaned in pain and tried to push himself up, but it only made the pain worse. Then he saw Eric sitting up.

"Billy! What happened?!" Eric yelled.

"I fell. What does it look like?" William snapped.

"Ok. Calm down." Eric said as he tried to click the call button on the wall near him.

After a few failed attempts, he heard his brother grunt in satisfaction as he saw he clicked the button.

"Thanks." William spit out.

Eric suddenly grabbed his stomach in pain.

"Whoa what's wrong?" William asked in concern.

"Um. The stitches in my stomach. I think they just ripped because of how far I stretched." Eric explained as he gripped his stomach again.

That was the last thing William remembered before blacking out from his pain.
