Chapter 5.

Today was the last day filming Elite Force for awhile and they had just finished. Eric got in his brand new Bentley and started driving home, even though he was afraid of what his brother was gonna do. He had spent the last two nights at a friend's house because he was frankly scared of his older brother and even if he wasn't scared of him, he was terrified of Erin right now. He knew she could fight like a man. While he was thinking about this, he didn't notice he was going over the speed limit. He snapped out of his thoughts and noticed a turn, but he couldn't slow down in time to go on it, so he ended up speeding off the road and hitting something before blacking out.

Meanwhile, William and Angela were watching a movie when William got a phone call.

"Hello? This is William Brent. How can I help you?" He asked.

"Are you related to Eric Unger?" The person on the phone replied.

"Yeah he's my younger brother, what's going on?" William asked.

"Your brother was in a car accident. The car is destroyed and your brother's condition is critical." The person explained.

"Who are you?" William asked terrified.

"I'm the police officer who is monitoring the accident and cleanup." The person explained.

"Where are you taking him?"

"The Hollywood south hospital." The police officer said.

"Alright, thanks for letting me know." William said as he hung up.

"What was that about?" Angela asked.

William picked up his crutches and went into the kitchen where his mom was, despite Erin's protests.

"Mom!" William yelled.

"What's wrong sweetie? Are you ok?" Karly asked.

"I'm fine. But I just got a call from a police officer saying that Eric was in a car accident and he's in critical condition. They are taking him to the Hollywood south hospital." William explained.

Karly's face could tell William that she was scared.

"Tell Erin. I'm going now." Karly said as she grabbed the keys.

"What about me?" William asked.

"Honey, you really just need to stay here." Karly explained.

"Mom, I'm coming with you." William said.

"No you are not young man. You need to rest." Karly said as she pointed to the living room.

"Fine." William groaned as he turned around and went back into the living room.

"What is going on?" Angela asked.

"Eric got badly hurt in a car accident." William explained.

"Angela, watch him. I'm following mom's car to the hospital." Erin said as she grabbed her keys and left.

William sat down on the couch, grabbed his soda can and took a big gulp out of it before Angela took it from him.

"I love Coke as much as the next person, but you don't need a ton of caffeine. Jumpy people with broken knees are not a good mix." Angela laughed as she set it down on the coffee table.

"Sorry. I'm just worried." William said as he relaxed into the couch cushions.

"I know. But Eric is strong. He'll pull through." She assured as she rubbed his back.

"Angela, please take me to the hospital. He's my little brother. I need to be there for him." William explained.

"Billy, they told you to stay here and they told me to watch you." Angela explained.

"Angela. Please?" William begged.

"Fine." Angela surrendered.

"Thank you!" William happily exclaimed as he hugged her.

Angela grabbed her purse and the keys to her car, then she and William got in the car. After the hour drive to the hospital, they got into the building. They went to the receptionist.

"Yes?" The woman asked.

"Eric Unger?" Angela asked.

"He's in surgery. I sent his mother and sister to the second floor waiting room." The receptionist explained.

"Thank you ma'am." William said as he and Angela went into the elevator.

As soon as the elevator opened, they went to the waiting room to see Karly and Erin.

"Angela! I thought I told you to keep Billy at the house." Erin complained.

"I'm sorry, he was upset, it is his little brother, not to mention the person the police called in the first place." Angela explained.

"Fine. You can stay." Erin surrendered.

(A/N I'm bringing his dad back. He is Billy right now.)

Billy sat down in the chair next to his mom and she put her arm around him. They heard the elevator again and in came William.

"What the heck are you doing here?!" Karly yelled as she pulled Billy closer.

"I came as soon as I heard about Eric. I am starting to question your parenting skills Karly. First Billy, then Eric? Who's next, Erin?" William demanded.

"What are you saying?" Karly demanded.

"I'm saying that I am going to get custody of my kids." William said.

Billy and Erin gasped.

"You will do nothing of the sort. I gave birth to all three. They are mine." Karly said.

"But I am their father. And I will be going down to the courthouse immediately after I make sure Eric is alright to get custody over all three." William explained.

Billy couldn't stand it anymore.

"Mom is a good parent! Better then you have ever been!" Billy yelled.

Karly covered Billy's mouth and Erin stuck her hand over hers. Angela immediately decided to leave the room and let the family sort this out. After many more heated words, William left without figuring out the news on Eric.

After Angela saw William leave with a scowl, she went back in there to see Erin and Billy with shocked faces.

"Are you guys ok?" Angela asked.

William nodded, then the doctor came and explained that he wanted to talk to Karly. After a few minutes, she came back. Erin and William looked up at her.

"How is he?" Erin asked.

"He's gonna make it. Barely. He's asleep, but should be waking up very soon. Right now, he can only have one visitor at a time. Who wants to go first?" Karly asked.

William grabbed his crutches and stood up.

"Where is he?" William asked.

Karly took him to the room and he went inside. William sat down on a chair in the room. He couldn't stand looking at Eric right now. He didn't look good. William grabbed his hand.

"Eric. I know that you probably hate me right now. I hate myself too. At least for what I did to you. I'm sorry. I love you. And I can't lose you. You are my little brother for dang sake. I don't mean die when I say lose you. The doctors said you will live. But...I can't lose you as a brother. Dad came and yelled at mom saying that he was going to the courthouse to try and regain custody over us because he doesn't think mom is a good parent. If I was ready for that stunt. This never would've happened. I am so sorry Eric." William said before he started crying.

Then he heard a quiet voice say.

"It's not your fault."

William looked over and saw Eric looking at him with slightly open eyes.

"Eric! Your awake!" William happily exclaimed as he wiped his tears and hugged Eric tightly.

"Ow." Eric said before hugging him back.

"Sorry. I'm just so happy that you are ok." William explained as he let go.

"Billy?" Eric asked.

"Yes?" William asked.

"I'm sorry too. I never should've kicked you to prove my point." Eric explained.

"It's gonna be ok now. Alright?" William asked.

But boy, he was wrong.
