I look like this and don't judge that was a picture I was going to send to my friends on wether to buy the flannel or not ok

I want my hair something like this 

And I just can't decide, on one hand I really want short hair but on the other I know I'll probably regret it and I also want long hair. I would just shove my hair in a beanie but I don't own any and my school has a policy against hats 

BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT!
