Old Ship [pt. 2]
It had been several days. Alex had almost forgotten her small little adventure back then. She only remembered it on the day she passed a major exam, because she accidentally doodled the demon on he paper. After coming home, she carefully passed her brother Michael's room, crept into her own and collapsed on the bed. She was still in her uniform because she didn't know what to change into. She scoured through her closet and settled on a pale blue turtleneck with some dark blue almost black overalls. She took some old boots that went went up to half her calf and put on a steampunk- themed eye patch she made.
She entered the studio once more. There was a musty smell that she only now noticed, and while treading through some ink, the demon's voice sounded:" You're back?!? Didn't I tell you to leave?" His voice was angry, and Alex replied calmly, even though she was freaking out: "I won't bother you, just I let you be and you leave me alone. Oh, and I never got your name." "If it'll make you leave… Bendy. That's my name. Now go." Alex walked around the corner and then broke into a sprint. She only stopped when she saw an auditorium like room. She could only guess by some few instruments that it was an orchestra room. But there, on a stool sat an inky figure with inky yellowish-white overalls and a Bendy mask playing the banjo. He was playing some chords and Alex decided to creep in and listen. She leaned on the wall and listened for a while, drifting off into thought, when suddenly a man's voice rang in her ears:" Well well well, if it isn't that girl from a couple days ago. What was your name again?" He had a very smooth voice, even though he probably didn't have the best intentions. Alex cautiously answered:" M-my name is Alex. And you…?" "That's right! Your name was Alex. Well, I'm Sammy Lawrence, if you want to know so badly." Sammy laughed, then abruptly stopping. "How did you get back? Didn't Bendy tell you to leave?" Alex shrugged. "I… talked my way out of it. I was curious, so…" Sammy sighed. "Whatever. I'm not going to hurt you, but take my advice and be careful."
Since it was late January and Alex had nothing else to do, she would come to visit Sammy pretty often, and making sure Bendy didn't see her. It was one of those days and Alex was aimlessly meandering around. All of a sudden there was a voice coming from around the corner. As the girl peaked around, she saw a man in his late 40's fighting off some weird ink creatures with an axe. He had glasses, and was almost bald, with a small, more or less scruffy beard. He wore a pair of black jeans with a white undercoat with a brown jacket, already soaked in ink. After defeating the last of them, he turned around panting. As soon as he say Alex, he took a step back. "How did you get in here, whoever you are?" He was quite shocked, and tense. Alex stepped out fully from behind the corner. "It's no matter how I got here, but… who are you?" she asked. The man seemed to loosen as soon as he realized that Alex wasn't going to hurt him. "I'm Henry, and you?" "Alex." They talked for a while, Alex learning that Henry used to work here, and was here to finish something he started. She didn't question it, and the two parted on good terms.
Just as she began walking and turned the corner, she froze. Bendy was there right in front of her, but didn't notice her. Seeing as she was terrified of him, she held her breath trying to creep by without him noticing. But he noticed. He turned around, ink running in streams down his face. This is the end, Alex thought. But she wasn't giving up just yet. Alex shuddered. His voice was piercing, and hit like knives in the heart. There was a sudden flow of something like rage that came over her. "I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? Alex's eye was glowing red at this point, and it was visible from even under her eye patch. Bendy stood there, trying to find a response. After what felt like hours, he just mumbled:"Oh well, enjoy danger" ,and left. Alex felt bad for some reason. Why was he trying to keep her away? She wanted, no, needed to apologise, but she wasn't gonna go looking for him. As soon as she got back a couple minutes later, she immediately crashed down on her bed and fell asleep.
It was the next day, and the first of February. Alex put on her special ink studio clothing and went in. The first person she saw was Henry. She greeted him and went past. After rounding a corner, she stopped to look around. There was significantly more ink on the walls, and it must've been a good sign, because she suddenly saw Bendy. She pulled herself together and slowly approached him. He sensed her, turning around. "What do you want?", he asked sharply. "Umm… I wanted to apologise because of yesterday. I shouldn't of yelled like that, it was pretty mean of me." Bendy was visibly taken aback, but answered:"It's fine, I deserve that. But-" "No, you do not. None does." "Whatever, just don't keep following me or something" ,he said, turning around. Alex giggled, somehow not so scared as she was before. She spun around on her heel and went on.
After a few minutes Alex got tired of the endless corridors. She randomly opened a door and sat down on a chair that was nearby. She looked around, noticing that this place looked a meeting room, or something. She closed her eyes, and dozed off into a light nap. She could wake from any noise, and just in case she was more or less hidden in the far left corner.
She woke up to the sound of an opening door. She immediately became alert, holding her breath. "Crazy right? Someone actually took the blame for the guy! What kind of dumbass do you need to be?" "Oh c'mon, maybe they did go overboard, or they just feel sorry! You don't know." "Who could EVER feel pity for him? He's a godforsaken demon!" "Alice!" Alex couldn't help but giggle. So, a girl dissing Bendy, and someone else defending him. "What was that?" Alice's voice was very alert and aggressive. "I'm sure they mean nothing-" "Like there's sympathetic creatures around here!" While they were bickering Alex stood up and brushed herself off. The voice of Alice belonged to an angle esque being, her face was partially melted, and her Halo was crooked, while the other voice belonged to a cartoonish wolf with overalls.
"Hi…?" Alex said unsurely. They both swerved around to see her. "Who are you?" Alice was angry, why, couldn't Alex decipher. "I'm that girl who felt bad for-" "Ohh, ok, pathetic excuse" "Hey! Alice stop! She's even being nice!" Alex scratched the back of her head. Boris apologized profusely, Alex just waved it off politely. She introduced herself and eventually, the three were on good terms. Alex did have to say her goodbyes though, and left.

This is an old ship that I decided to revisit. This story is very far from done. I've spent 7 hours in total time writing this bullshit and I don't know why. H e l p
