What also messes me up is that trump isn't the people's choice. The majority of people wanted Clinton as president.

200,000 ppl wanted Clinton as president but because we give votes to states rather than voting directly for president. And because each state is mandated to have three electoral votes starting out before the rest are added according to population, thus creating the situation where one Wyomingite's vote is worth four Californians'.

The electoral college can and does less popular candidates winners and this is the fourth time in us history that this will happen

If we lived in an actual democracy, none of this would have ever happened (though to be honest I'm doubt the alt right that trump brings would go away so easily)

Ugh I'm rly rly jittery and panicky right now. I mean, that trump and his campaign can't repeal same-sex marriage (well it's possible, but difficult), but considering mike pence is Vice President and many states don't have LGBT protections (which includes employment and housing) scared that will increase and so will lgbt conversion therapy. I mean, even if the trump administration never does anything with lgbt conversion therapy it is legitimately terrifying that so much of the administration supports it

We have three months before trump is officially inaugurated.

We are not going away. Do not give up in your fight for rights and dignity that you so, so deserve. Be kind to yourself and others like you. Please do not harm or kill yourself as a result of this election. I can't and I won't guarantee everything will be okay (I don't want to rely on false hope anymore), but I will guarantee that you are not alone and the world is so, so much better and brighter of a place with you in it. Honestly, I like being positive. I'm a pretty optimistic person, but even I know it's so hard to be that way with all the hatred around us, directed toward us. We have to keep going.

I'm terrible at self care lmao. I'm not sure whether it's because of the election, my laziness, or something else but today all I had to eat was a bite of blueberry muffin, a Mountain Dew, a few chips, and a chicken sandwich

That's the least I've eaten in a while lol and I've been on a two meal streak for the last week.

I hate eating tho because so many foods make me nauseous, even ones that I like. Why I can't drink Dr Pepper and lemonade and live forever. Why can't I become a robot

Anyway why not do another 13 facts tag because I have no self control and I procrastinate on actually doing stuff (p.s. Working on bbt character analysis)

1. I chose my online name "slime" after seeing a meme. I'm a nerd

2. I rly admire ppl who grow and change since that's something I've done many, many times over

3. I love overanalyzing and producing overcomplicated theories for rly simple things

4. My writing and stories r way too self-indulgent for my own good

5. Tbh when I look at my friends' writing I always feel awkward because theirs have well-detailed and planned plots, lots of action, heavy themes of genocide, war, etc. but mine contain plot points and characterization like "which of my ocs would be a furry" and "what would like dubstep"

6. I love making loser nerd characters. When I was 11 I was like "this character has x tragic backstory and rly nihilistic and is super serious" but now I'm like "this is x. They like anime and cosplaying and came from a farm in the Wisconsin and is determined to overthrow every single pop star there is"

7. I have empathy for inanimate objects. Once I had to leave a car derby because I was bawling my eyes out "because the cars didn't want it"

8. I have such low standards for humor. I laughed for ten straight minutes over the words "brumpbo scrungus" and "scrimmy bingus"

9. When I was 11, I literally wanted an iq test for Christmas. And I got it. And I can tell you, that intelligence is quite useless

10. I am deathly scared of the grudge and heights to an unreasonable extent

11. I'm more experienced at handling rats than I am at dogs

12. I am still bitter abt things that happened in preschool and kindergarten. I'm not joking in the slightest
