There was a girl in my ceramics class today and she... Actually I'll just write it.

Girl: Why do we even have this class? It's not like anyone is actually going to go into an art related degree.

Me: You sure?

Girl: Oh, you are? Well you're just gonna end up— *stops herself*

Me: Hm? End up what?

Girl: Never mind.

Me: Oh no, feel free to share.

Girl: It's not like you'll get a real job. You'll just end up at desk or something doing something useless.

Me: *bit-too-polite-smile* And all those people working on movies and making money at desks?

Girl: ...

Me: And what do you want to do? I'm guessing you have a plan?

Girl: well...

Me: Exactly. *smiles way too kindly again and gets back to work*

I was so mad at her.
I had every right to be upset, okay?
Good.

But at the same time I won the argument and that makes me happy so it's all good.

Anyways.
